Our Next Block Wednesday Sew Along Theme is……
***Home Is… Mystery Sew Along Details***
This sew along theme is inspired by all things ‘Cozy’. I have some fun ideas that will bring us into fall and winter, when we can all use some coziness!
DETAILS:
- RUNS: January 6, 2021 to June 2, 2021
- Blocks: Various size blocks
- SIZE: Asymmetrical Lap size – similar in feel to The 182 day Solstice and Grandma’s Kitchen See it at the table at the ends. you can download the pattern now
- Type of Blocks: Pieced with a FEW EASY applique tossed in
- TIMING: Wednesday around 7:30am EST. Email notice goes out noon-ish in my time zone, EST. The email is NEVER when the block is published.
- Quilt Photo Sharing: Share at my Facebook community or at the end of each article. You can share your fabric down below! I am using the same photo share for all the Block Wednesday.
FAQ:
- What is a Fat Quarter? A fat quarter is half of a 1/2 yard of fabric cut WIDE so it is 18″ x 20″
- Can I use fabric that is not a FQ? Sure! this is meant to use up what you have with a bit added.
- Can I use Stash (fabric I own) – Yes! Pull out a bundle of beautiful fabric
- Will I use all the fabric – Not all of it. This is to give you variety, more is better!
- Can you show me the blocks in advance? No, it’s a mystery

- NOTE: The Block does NOT LOOK like the topic of the week. This is not a pictorial quilt. I do a topic as it is way more fun than just plopping out a block. I love the memories and sometimes research that goes into the topic. That keeps my Sew alongs fun and unique.
