I believe the link for the “Home Is” Block 2 pattern is broken.
The warm & cozy spot is our family room as the fireplace has been burning day & night since it turned cold & snowy. On the mantel is a string of red & white poinsettia lights with candles & hand thrown pottery plates that have hearts on them. In the corner is a table top Christmas tree with snowmen lights & snowmen decorations. As itβs often a gray day the mantel lights & tree lights are on. My husband will drink his morning coffee in his recliner remarking on a cozy way to start the day then finished his day after dinner once again in the recliner remarking on cozy. Of course a quilt hangs on the wall & one drapes a rocker.
One of the warmest spots in our house is by the fire pit outside, on a cold winter evening. The coldness outside and the warmth of the fire on your face as you watch the burning flames relaxes you and warms the soul.
My warm cozy spot is on my chair next to a fire looking at beautiful posts of quilts!
still waiting on my fabric to arrive, I downloaded block to so I have some catch up. LOVE all of your pretty blocks.
My favorite place in our home is in the living room sitting beside hubby and looking out at the lake and all the wildlife. Have a wonderful day, Dorcie
Hello to all – I would like the Elephant Stomp pattern. Is is available yet. I am in the process of making an elephant quilt and would love this to add into my blocks

I am still getting settled in my new home since moving in November. I love lots of places here. I have a sunroom/dining room with 6 windows! I love to sit in there and look at the beautiful view, horses in pasture, hills and blue sky! I can’t wait for the weather to be warmer so I can sit on my deck and do the same! I would say my sunroom/dining room with its yellow is my favorite! Also I made block 1 with the scraps of a quilt that my mom made me that is in my living room. I thinK i will make each room a reflection somehow of my new home and the memories to be made here as I am also a new Grandma (Mimi) to the most beautiful little girl!
Pat, I have been wondering what is the name of the red quilt behind you to your right? I love it. Warmest place in our house is the living room, often too warm with DH feeding that wood stove as tho it was starving. I find warmth enough and much comfort in my sewing room! Loving your sew-a-longs.
I took it metaphorically and put a music notes fabric as my center block since playing piano and singing are warmth creators for my heart.
my favorite place is my recliner in my living room, near the fireplace. Buddy and Angel on each side under a blanket. Boy, what a arthritis easer. when i go to my sewing room, they pile up on Dad and do the same thing to him
The warmest place in my home is the kitchen with the heated floors on.
The warmest spot in our house is by the kiva with a fire glowing. I love to sit or lay on the sofa, writing letters or reading, or maybe an occasional nap. I also hold my clothes over the heater vent to warm them before I put them on. Instantly cozy.
The warmest spot in our house is having the cat lay across my lap or my legs. She is a super heater wherever she decides to be.
Hi Pat π Iβll share my blocks in your Facebook group as for some reason I have post them here from my iPhone or iPad. Hugs
The warmest spot in the house is next to the fireplace!!!
I love your All MY Stars Quilt. It is the reason I found your blog. I saw a picture of that quilt somewhere online and made one. I then thought I should find out who actually designed it and voila, Pat Sloan. I wasn’t going to make the Home is… quilt but now maybe I will.
The warmest spot in my house is the living room in front of the pellet stove. Warm to me though, is my sewing room where I go to escape from household chores. A cup of tea a little music & my favorite sewing things!
