  1. I love scrappy quilts but like many others, tend to love controlled scrappy, either by color(s), styles or fabric theme. The book looks fabulous!

  2. I love making very scrappy quilts with some control for color. I have made some of Bonnie Hunter’s mystery quilts using specific color as my way to blend scrappy into a quilt! It is sew much fun!!!

  3. I love to make slightly controlled scrappy quilts, meaning I pick a main (but large) varied color scheme, sometimes that means eliminating black and brown, or maybe only using blues and greens. Currently making a scrappy log cabin and a scrappy Checkerboard Chain by Lori Holt. Would love that book, thanks for the opportunity.

  4. I love to make bright happy scrappy quilts! Most of my fabric has a memory attached to it in my head, so I’m always thinking scrappy thoughts of how can I make this work or how would this go together! Fabric makes me happy, and I look forward to Pat’s videos because she’s always laughing and she makes learning fun. My favorite scrappy blocks are crum quilts. Best way to use up some of my stash. You can also make different blocks or applique out of crum blocks too!

  5. I’ve not made any scrappy quilts, but have seen a flower quilt made from scraps which I loved and the block you made today. After seeing the block this morning I have started organizing my scraps. I definitely want to make a quilt with those blocks!

  6. My favorite scrappy quilt to make is using foundation paper and adding odd shaped scraps to either a 10 or 12” FP. No rules or measuring! They go together so fast!

  7. I’m very new to quilting! Scrappy looks pretty interesting! Would be a great way to use up the scraps I have from making garments!!!🩷

  8. Love all kinds of scrappy quilts! I mostly do half square triangle or scrappy string blocks. Thanks for highlighting this book and the creative ways to do scrappy in fun ways!

  9. I have made children’s quilts using scraps of cartoon characters and fairy tales. Most have gone to donation locations like Myra’s Angels in Raleigh N.C.

  10. I like “kitchen sink” scrap quilts — the ones that use scraps of any kind or color. String and crumb quilts are fun too as you don’t even need the scraps to be precisely cut to use them in the blocks! This looks like a fun book.

  11. I love all kinds of scrappy quilts I make crumb blocks and lot of string blocks. would love to have this book. loved the block you showed today

  12. I like the kind of scrappy quilts that will use up all those small pieces that you have no clue what do with after you’re finished with different projects

  13. I have sewn strip quilts and have a container full of crumb blocks which I would like to use as you did. That book would really push my imagination!

  14. I make Linus quilts so always have lots of scraps. I’m trying to be more organised with my scraps so create 10″, 5″ and 2.5 inch squares, 2.5″ strips and have a crumb box. At the moment I am making crumb blocks like the ones you have used in your video. My favourite scrap quilts are improv. I love the way they look.

  15. I like an organized scrappy quilt. The flower/rose block you showed from the book is beautiful!

  16. I love the look of scrappy quilts. They are so versatile. Being a newer quilter. I have started creating such a scrap pile. This book would be useful to help create some fabulous quilts for my volunteer work in doing for project Linus.

  17. I enjoy working with my scraps of fabric to create beautiful quilt blocks. I am presently using my scraps to make a duckworth quilt for charity. I would love to win this book because it will give me new ideas and inspiration to create different designs towards an amazing quilt.

  18. I like scrappy star blocks and hope to make a quilt with them. I started one from my Shine On Sampler quilt cutoffs.

  19. Truthfully I’m not a scrappy quilter HOWEVER after watching your tutorial this morning I have to say you got me interested. I loved what you were able to do with your scrappy block. It shines a new light on scrappy. I would love to win.

  20. I like scrappy quilts that look like there’s a plan. (For example: colors are chosen that work well together, maybe a dominant color scheme, blocks that are separated by sashing, similar block pattern). Too many colors and patterns are overwhelming to me. I’ve seen many that are very scrappy and that are beautiful, but I prefer more order.

  21. I LOVE scrappy quilts… the crumbier the better. My favorites are the ones that add some sort of order to all the chaos, like the way you used your scrappy blocks to create your block from the book. I also loved your quilt you made from your scrappy blocks that had purple as the “background” color. My favorite scrappy quilt that I’ve made is a rainbow colored quilt of crumb log cabin blocks. The pictures you shared from this book perfectly speak to my scrappy, crumbly quilty soul.

  22. I love scrappy quilts. I think they remind me of my grandma’s quilts, that were truly scrap quilts. I have made a few scrap blocks but never put them into a quilt. (yet) I would love to win a copy of this book.

  23. I love crumb blocks! I love them so much I have over 500 right now. I just made a backing out of them this week for a July 4th quilt. So much fun!,

  24. I love anything scrappy. I’ve made 2 crumb quilts and one with large squares. At the moment I’m making scrappy houses for a wall hanging. I have lots of scrappy strips sewn onto thin foundation fabrics in lots of sizes, waiting to be used in future projects – bags, pouches, hot pads, coasters, to name a few 🙂

  25. I have only been quilting a few years and have never made a scrappy quilt. I would love to win the book and try them all!

  26. In my scrappy world, anything goes! I don’t think I have ever met a scrap I didn’t like. Jason and Shannon are so creative.

  27. I love scrappy quilts that when you put the blocks together you find a surprise pattern hiding there and people cant decide if it was luck or planning.

  28. I make a lot of scrappy quilts. The Jen Kingwell quilt I am presently working on is partially scrappy. I have two large tubs containing scrap fabrics from quilting, applique, and crafting.

  29. I love scrap quilts with All fabric in them. I have made several of them in different patterns. Love, love, love them!

  30. I love making scrappy quilts that use scrappy blocks in place of what other quilters would buy specific fabrics. I love the unexpected fun aspect of scrappy. No scrap gets left behind.

  31. I make a lot of traditional scrap quilts; however, I enjoy the freedom of improvisational piecing similar to Pat’s crumb pieced blocks. I look forward to exploring the blocks and projects in Shannon and Jason’s book “Scrappy Wonky Quilt Block Extravaganza”

  32. I save scraps from everything! I am learning so much from you. I watch your video in the morning while I’m drinking coffee. My sister is still working and she calls me on her way to work and we discuss your video that morning. Thanks for giving me ideas for organization and what to do with all these scraps! I’m finding out things about myself, too. I really like colors!

  33. I love scrappy quilts of most types. This looks like fun. I’ve been making strip squares in down times when I don’t want to get involved with anything else. Fun to do.

  34. I love scrappy quilts. I make throws for Hospice and the nursing home patients. They love them and I get a blessing seeing all the smile.

  35. I love doing controlled scrappy with limited colors. I really like the block you demonstrated today 😁

  36. Growing up I loved the crazy quilts. Recently I’ve been looking at the art/image quilts which are so amazing. I haven’t tried scrappy quilts yet as I only retired 2 years ago and don’t have many scraps yet. One day it will happen! Thanks for all you do Pat!

  37. I really love the look of a scrappy quilt. I did the scrappy Irish chain, and it was a lot of fun the blocks were 18″.I think this would be a really fun book to learn more about the different blocks!

  38. I like scrappy that makes a design, either with sashing between blocks or blocks of certain designs but still using scrappy components. That book looks interesting, Pat.

  39. Most of my quilts are controlled scrappy. I also like random but have found it hard to be random, control usually takes over. This book looks like it blends the kinds of scrappy very well.

  40. I have really just started to get a great deal of scraps as I have only been sewing and quilting since November 2022. I this book looks really neat and seems to have lots of ideas for using up all sizes of scraps.
