I love scrappy crumb blocks. I’d love to win the book.
I like more controlled scrappy at this time. I am still learning and have started to build my bins of 2 1/2” squares and 5” squares from my leftover scraps. So one day I would love to make some scrappy blocks using Lori Holt’s book, Scrappiness is Happiness, that is waiting on my bookshelf.
I am so excited! I love scrappy quilts and make them often! I love using up itty bitty crumbs and string scraps. My favorite is probably the postage stamp quilts with every type color and theme of fabric. 2 or 2.5” squares are perfect!
I loved seeing you use up scraps for an entire season- there’s something very historical and gratifying about these quilts to me. I started cutting my scraps into precuts a few years ago and it has opened up a whole new window to things I can make. I do 5” – 4” and 2.5” squares and 2.5” strings. Love the YouTube page I watch every morning and re-run episodes often!!
Pat, my favorite scrappy quilts are wonky log cabin style blocks!
I love small scrappy quilts for kids.
I like making scrappy log cabin quilts.
I love color coordinated scrappy quilt, have tried many times but haven’t been able to successfully make one.
I enjoy making crumb blocks.
While I love looking at scrappy quilts i am only brave enough to sew controlled scrappy ones. I hope to be able to move beyond that at some point.
