love to make string quilt blocks
Such beautiful blocks ! I love scrappy and unusual patterns!!!
I have been making scrappy log cabin locks and this would be cool to do with the blocks.
Love scrap quilts
My favorite projects are anything scrappy.
I would love the cute tank top and especially the Porch Swing jelly roll! My summer plans include lots of sewing, reading, gardening and a trip to Portland Maine. Thanks for all the great videos Pat! I’ve learned so much from you.
Hi Pat!
I enjoy scrappy string piecing. It is fun to just pick up a piece of fabric and sew. This book would be an asset to my library of books, many of which are yours! Thank you for your videos and sharing your sewing with us. You give sew much inspiration to us which keeps us quilting and buying fabric. Your fabric lines are spectacular. Wishing you and Greg a fun and safe summer!
Would love to win the tank top and fabric! Summer plans are vacationing at the lake with family!
Thank you love your videos,
Wendy
HI Pat, I do love just layering and adding colorful scraps. Much like a crumb quilt. I love all the colors in a scrappy quilt!

My summer plans are to complete as much as possible of the Ohio Shop Hop. I live in central Kentucky so I don’t plan to hit the northern areas. I don’t like solids AT all! I use white-on-white and other tonal options for my background. Thank you for all you do for us!
I do love scrap building blocks. You have added a new curve of that tangent! Thanks for all you do. I do stumble finding things on your sight. I guess this is the place for the scrappy but may not find the spot for the tank top lol love the tank for a friend Iam not a large lol. But the fabric would be lovely for me!! Summer fun is just sewing in the cool ac for me!
I love scrappy quilts but honestly it’s intimidating. This book looks fun and I would love a chance to win
I would love to have the book. I like making any kind of scrappy quilts. I also have adding machine tape to use small bits.
Thank You Barb😊

I do use solids. They can be brush stroke, grunge or similar which you may not consider solids.
I like to sew scraps together to see where the combination takes me 🙂 I have scraps left from my Dad’s flannel shirts, after making 13 memory pillows & a lap quilt for myself. After watching your videos and suggestions, I’m going to use up these scraps once and for all. This book would be helpful. Thanks for your videos & giveaways.
Love love love any scrappy quilt because i love using things to completion. Would love to receive the book of course. Thank you so much for all you do for our quilting family.
My summer is spent spoiling my grands. Camping, baseball games and fishing or a nice boat ride. Enjoy them before life takes over.
I am currently loving crumb quilts. I enjoy the randomness of what the small scraps create. I am also fairly new to quilting and now watch all tiur videis. I have learned so much from what you share. Thank you!
Pat,
Love how you made your block, looks like so much fun!
From the : Scrappy Wonky Quilt Block Extravaganza !
Amassing!
I made a scrappy quilt using a pice of 8” muslin for the backing to sew my scraps onto.
I also make scrappy pot holders.
Both turn out so Beautiful, everyone loves them.
My Summer Plans include going to Quilt Camp in August. Helping when I can with my Grandkids all 6 of them. Go on a weekend trip or two with my husband! Making sure my family gets to spend time together. I also plan on doing some quilting and going to my quilt Guild meetings. I still work 30 hours a week.
I love making scrappy blocks, they are a log cabin style! I have small boxes that I keep finished blocks in, ready to put a quilt together whenever I need one! I work on them occasionally when my scrap bin gets overloaded! That book would be great to have, I could start making a different style of scrap blocks, that would be a lot of fun!
I love scrappy quilts. I’ve made 2.5 inch squares into a Jacob’s Ladder quilt and have made heart string quilts. Would love to make a scrappy log cabin. The book looks very interesting.
I like controlled scrappy – or with large pieces. I often use “scrappy back” for my quilts, using leftover pieces from the top. I really like the look of your Don Quixote blocks with the unifying blue.
I haven’t seen this book, but it looks wonderful! I would love to win, but more than likely won’t so I will order it. I really enjoy your video’s and sew alongs.
Scrappy quilts have always been my favorite and I don’t have a specific kind or type that I like the best. I love the practicality of using scraps for a useful quilt.
Love controlled scrappy quilts–lots of scraps with a with a consistent background. Scrappy Happy!
You are my favorite you tube videos! I’d love to have the T-shirt and the fabrics fantastic you are definitely one of my favorite designers of fabrics. And the oh my stars pattern is my go to if I need something beautiful and quick because I always have 5 inch squares Thank you for all you do for us out here
I have just recently got into sewing scrappy crumb blocks since is hard to let go of odd shape scraps. I love how you are making the Don Quixote block. I think I need to try this!
I love scrappy quilts. Scrappy string quilts and I spy quilts are my favorites.
I love scrappy quilts!! I like a pattern to highlight at least one color fabric and use that sparingly throughout for a little consistency. This book looks so interesting. Wouldn’t mind the addition to my library.
This summer has us running back and forth from NJ to Virginia. Our second home is in So. Virginia. I love it there. Beautiful home and yard and 3 quilting groups. I entered my first quilt show in VA in April. I won third place. Thanks Pat for the opportunity to win a prize. Very faithful watcher.
I love, love, love scrappy quilts! My latest version used 5-inch squares that I had collected from many quilt scraps using red as a tie-in color. It was a GE Designs pattern. I enjoy making scrappy quilts for donation with at least one main color.
Love your porch swing fabric, would love to win the jelly roll. I would give the tank to my daughter she would love it. Thanks for all you do, it means so much to me!
I have never made a scrappy quilt not brave enough yet.
Living in the Arizona desert, my summer plan is to stay indoors and sew, sew, sew. I have a fabric challenge to plan and make. I have some fall decor projects I want to have done before fall. I also want to make some clothing to take on my October Carribean cruise. This shirt would be perfect for our climate and my cruise.
I just started trying to do scrap quilts and crumb fabric making. It’s been very enjoyable because there’s no worry about colors matching or seams. I’m anxious to get enough pieces to make something.
