I plan of spending lots of time at the lake with my view for sewing lake side! I think I would look great in this tank top next year over the fourth and would love to have some of your amazing fabric!
Susan Mardens has a wonderful fabric collection! We summered there through the years of Rving and boy did I build a stash! Have fun. I love Maine!
God bless you and your family through this ❤️🙏
My summer plan is to go to the Bangor Maine areas in august to visit family. Also to get some cycling in, also LOTS of sewing will be done!!
I’ve just returned from CT visiting my granddaughters. It was a great 2 and a half weeks! The rest of the summer will be spent gardening, sewing, and quilting!
Hi Pat, we are planning on some camping. I also am going on a girls weekend away which I am so looking forward to. Also working on completing some of the shop visits during the All Michigan Shop Hop. Love the tank top!
My summer plans include expanding our perennial food garden and finishing graduation quilts for our grandkids.
My summer plans include enjoying being at the lake along with some quilting, reading, and landscaping. A special bonus this summer is attending my grandson’s baseball games. So fun to watch!
I think my summer is going to be watching my Great grandson, Waylon. I’m in the process of making him a dragon quilt. I’m ready to start quilting on it.
For Summer, my plans are to quilt. It has been over 100 here the last week and going outside does not appeal to me.
My summer plans are to send off several quilt tops to a few long-armers to get them done! Then I’ll enjoy the fun part of binding …my favorite!
I went to the Great Smoky Mountains for a couple of days last month. Now it has really gotten hot and I just want to stay home in the air conditioning. Lucky for me I can stay cool and quilt at the same time!
😎☀️My daughter and I have created our annual “Summertime Fun List” which includes everything from washing the cars, to having a barbecue, to visiting a nearby amusement park (and everything in between)! Summer has so much to offer!😁🇺🇸
My summer plans are gardening, baseball, walking and some sewing.
We don’t plan on doing anything. We have a camper and it just sets have not taken it out since 2019. I’m sad, But I don’t want my husband pulling it. He still drives and it makes me a nervous wreck. He has Alzheimer’s. I love to make quilts this would be a perfect prize. Thank you
My summer plans include caring for my dog and cat. Looking forward to going to lunch with our granddaughters! Due to health restrictions we won’t be traveling to far from home. As far as quilting goes I have a wallhanging that needs to be sandwiched, a Oh My Stars just starting on the design wall, and I must do the Christmas in July with you and the Fat Quarter Shop!!
Our summer plans include visits to family, dinners with friends, better luck with growing tomatoes than last year 😂, and as much quilt-making as possible!
Hi Pat! We are currently on vacation with our fifth wheel RV and 3 large dogs. 🙂 We traveled to Arizona from Nebraska to visit some of my cousins. On our way back, through Four Corners, our pickup started acting up. We made it to a campground south of Cortez, CO. We were able to get it fixed in one day, so we had some time to venture out. We went to Mesa Verde National Park and found out we had a mouse in the cab of our pickup! We tried to chase it out. It wasn’t fazed by the dogs, nor were the dogs fazed by the mouse. We couldn’t get it out, so we drove back to the campsite after stopping for some mouse traps. Can I say I DO NOT LIKE MICE! This one crawled up my leg, across my lap and down my husband’s seat who was driving. This cost me many lives! Tom said the trap caught the mouse overnight. So, we are headed home tomorrow, the 4th, and will be glad to get home.
Thank you, Pat, for all you do for fellow quilters! Love your patterns and the time you spend making videos for us to watch and re-watch!
Summer plans are starting out with 4thof July picnic party with friends. If health allows maybe a trip to the East Coast to see family and eat LOTS of seafood.
We’ve already done our big trip this summer to Maine for our grandson’s graduation; now it’s time for quilting.
Our eleven year old grandson is coming to visit. Family get togethers, swimming, and gardening!
My summer includes camping at our vacation property, plenty of grass mowing, spending time with my grandson, some gardening and canning, family reunions and get togethers, and relaxation that includes sewing and quilting several tops that have been completed.
I plan to visit my brother and his family and will enjoy swimming in his pool.
Hi Pat, I will be helping my dad with canning our vegetables this summer like we do every year and cutting wood on our property to sell for the summer or winter. I would like to get some quilting and stitching in if I can during this time year it is constantly canning every day that the veggies come in. Pat have an amazing summer with your family and love ones.
Finally getting a chance to visit Greece this summer. Super excited. Trying to finish up quilts I’m working on now before we leave.
My summer plans include having foot surgery so I will have a lot of downtime to figure out what scrapy quilt I want to make and get all the fabric cut and ready I have been wanting to make a scrapy quilt but I figured out I am a controlled scrapy quilter I would love to use some of your fabric in it maybe I will start my postage stamp quilt
Don’t have much planned this summer. Working on my quilt projects I have going, trying to keep my flowers from dying in this heat.. oh and my 50th class reunion is in August, that’s going to be fun!!
Hello Pat! Thank you for the opportunity to enter to win the tank top and the Porch Swing fabric. This summer we have been swimming in our pool , mowing and of course quilting. I know we are kinda boring people. But we will take a trip up north in September. I can’t wait!
My summer plans are to NOT start any new quilting projects until I finish the ones I have started. Wish me luck!!😄
My plans for the summer months are canning lots of vegetables from my garden, cooling off in the creek and cleaning out my quilting space. Because my quilt room is in the basement and it’s cool down there it’s a perfect time to do the job I have put off till now.
Love the cute T-shirt!!! Since I recently moved into a new (and smaller) house, I’m trying this summer to re-organize my sewing room. Big job!! Need to put fabrics into different areas and places (and then remember where they are!!!) Also have family outings as we go along, since they’re now much closer.
I am going to a quilt retreat in Sarasota Fl. I am sew looking forward to being with like minded people for 4 days. Other than that, it life as usual in Florida..bike 10 miles in the morning, sew/quilt in the afternoon, chair aerobics at 4;15 and walk after dinner. Trying to avoids hurricanes. Happy Summer! happy sewing!
It’s too hot for outside plans!
Summer is really different this year due to some medical issues. Major treatment will be done at the end of July. Quilting has really been a calming, mind occupying blessing. Will do the beach in September to celebrate. Thank you for your videos and all the amazing tips!! I
