I have never been to Germany but I LOVE German food. While I really enjoy a good Bratwurst, my favorite German meal is Sauerbraten, red cabbage, and potato dumplings. Yum!
I’ve enjoyed Lebkuchen from Aldi, but It would be such a treat to have them from Leckerlee. I’m sure they are very different and the tins are lovely.

Hi Pat, I have never traveled outside of the US. I make a nut roll bread that has roots near Germany and love the spices that are in the lebkuchen. What a lovely contest. Happy Fall!

I have never been to Germany. But, my heritage has strong roots in Germany & Ireland. My Mom & Dad’s favorite meal was Beef & Noodles over mashed potatoes.
I have not been to Germany, but I recently watched a YouTuber traveling in the Black Forest area, where cuckoo clocks are made. It is definitely one of my bucket list places to visit. My favorite German cookie to make is the Spritz cookie. My daughter and I bake them every year for Christmas. We cover them in icing and add sprinkles to give them a special touch. I love all the cookie tins, but the dark green one with the Angel motif is my favorite.

I was in Munich, Germany to change planes after leaving to go to Rome. I remember seeing small towns with a white church. It was so pretty.
I wish I had seen these cookies there. They look yummy, and the pretty cans are useful.

I grew up in Germany and moved to the US in 1982. What I miss most is the wonderful variety of breads and rolls and especially the pretzels; fresh baked and buttered (Butterbrezel); yum!
Trying these cookies would help me experience one of the wonders of Germany for sure.

Georgia. They have the best Reuben sandwiches there and all sorts
