Never been to Germany, but my daughter hosted a Boy from Germany .
Hello Pat, I have never been to Germany. I wish I could go with my husband to visit where his family came from. He is 8 generation Gerhart. Family came over in 1739. His family stayed in the area of Salford Penn. Family homestead is the Riasing Sun.
As for my favorite food, Potato Fritters or Potato Pancakes (Kartoffelpuffer). My MIL made the best. I wish I had her cooking skills. Mmmmm good.
