I have never been to Germany but I am married to a German. His favorite food is pork and sauerkraut which I serve every New Years Day along with mashed potatoes for good luck I love these cookies and would be thrilled to win a tin! Thank you for all you do Pat!

years in college. I was so excited when you showed these cookies, bought a bunch and loved every bite. We
would have Rouladen for holidays and it is still my favorite dinner at Christmas.Also, I make Stollen for the

Yes I have been to Germany, around Munich and Hamburg. My favorite German food, that’s a good one. I enjoyed going to the market and getting something fresh. I have subscribed to your substack, enjoying your articles.
My parents won a trip to Germany and I flew over and joined them for a week. This was in 1983.
I toured parts of Germany several years ago. It was beautiful. We enjoyed many if their different foods, but haven’t tasted these cookies.

Last December I had the great experience of travelling to the Christmas Markets! It was a bucket list itme, for sure! So much great food, but the breads were my favorite.

I have been to Germany a few times. My sister was stationed there with the Air Force and several years later my cousin was stationed there with the Army. Free places to stay about 25 years ago. I recently visited with a Girl Scout trip. My favorite place is Rotenburg Ob de Tauber. I did try Lebkuchen while there and really like them.
My son was stationed in Germany when in the army we sent his bike over so he could tour the contrysidr.

I have traveled to Germany multiple times. My whole family loves German food. My son was just telling me about some delicious cookies they just discovered on their last trip. Yes, you guessed it, Leckerlee Lebuchen!! Imagine my surprise when the cookie giveaway was announced yesterday!
I lived in Germany for three years. My daughter was born there while my husband was in the Air Force. My favorite German food is swing rotten it’s season pork cooked over a great that actually swings over a fire landlord taught us how to make that I love German pastries also

I was in Germany this past June to visit family. My daughter and grandson are currently staying in Germany with family for the next three months. we had a wonderful time.

I have not been to Germany. There is a wonderful German restaurant in Richmond that our daughter takes us to and it has the most delicious Chickken Schnitzel.
I lived in Germany when I was a little girl and my favorite memory is the bakery man coming to base in the truck and being able to buy the yummy goodies. My favorite treat is the cookies, they are so full of flavor and not too sweet.
I was never a fan of Lebkuchen cookies till my MIL sent us some. Now I love them and these look so delicious.

I’ve never been to Germany before but my ancestors came from there and even fought in the American Revolution.
Yes! I have been to Germany. A few years ago, to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, we took a Viking River Boat cruise on the Danube from Budapest Hungary to Slovakia, Austria, and ended in Passau, Germany. It was a wonderful cruise on a smaller ship at a much slower pace. We were able to experience the cuisine of each of the countries on board the ship and had extended tours each day at a different city.
I have never been to Germany, but German was the language I took in school. My favorite German food would
be soft pretzels. (Also – I pronounce Gummi Bears the way you do. I learned in class.)

I have never had the opportunity to visit Germany or try these cookies. When living in South Australia we
used to drive to the Barossa Valley for a picnic. There was a German Delicatessen that sold Different
German sausages, fresh bread & cheeses. we would buy this, then visit a winery for a bottle of wine, find a
park and have our picnic. It was always a lovely day out.
