  1. I’ve never been to Germany but I’d love to go being my heritage is largely German. My grandma used to make this amazing stew that her mom taught her to make.

  2. I have not been to Germany, but would like to go sometime. I enjoy going to Leavenworth, WA, and enjoy the Nutcracker Museum there. They also have many good restaurants there. I do enjoy eating a good Schnitzel

  3. I’ve never been to Germany. I do have some German ancestry (does that count?)! I am not very familiar with German cuisine, but during the holidays growing up we always made pepper nut cookies. I think those are German! Have a great day!

  4. I was born in Germany but have never had the pleasure of visiting. That’s a goal I have. I love apple or peach strudel. I would love to try those cookies.

  5. I have never been to Germany, nor have I tasted those special cookies. I have ancestors who immigrated from Termany, however, so it would be fun to know more about those traditions.

  6. My husband and I lived in Brussels Belgium for 12 years and visited and shopped in Germany many, many

    times. We would even drive across the border just to have lunch. My favorite food is Jäger schnitzel and a box

    of Lebkuchen cookies to go.

  8. I’ve never had the chance to go to Germany but we have a German restaurant 10 minutes away and love all the food although potato latkes and schnitzel are my all time favorit.

  12. Hi Pat- I have been to Germany a couple times. Most recent was a tour on the Martin Luther Trail, began in Berlin, ended in Frankfurt with stops along the way such as Leipzig and Erfurt. I love these cookies! I have had only the Trader Joe’s Lebkuchen but they are pretty good if I don’t win but of course I want to win as these look amazing and XL… 😊

  13. I’ve never been to Germany but I do adore German sweets. One that comes to mind is Black Forest cake. We also had various fruit cakes when my Czechoslovakian grandmother would bake us for the holidays.

  14. Hi Pat, life is always changing and you just roll with it! I am glad you have a little more time. I went as a chaperon with my daughter’s German class in high school. The Spaetzle was served a lot but we loved it.

  17. Pat, I love your video’s. I have never had the pleasure of traveling to Germany, it’s on my bucket list. I would love to try the Lebkuchen cookies. It would be something I would do with my tea sitting on my front porch. I think the tins a beautiful.

  20. I’ve never been to Germany, though both of my parents had grandparents move to the US from Germany. We ate a few German foods, but I don’t have a favorite. My daughter eats more German foods than I do.

  22. I’ve never been to Germany but my husband was born there. He came to the United States when he was about 2 years old. I’ve also never eaten a Lebkuchen cookie but I’d like to try them. They look yummy!

    Nearby. I think bierocks is a German food and I have lowered these cookies and I love them.

  25. I visited Germany in 1990 as part of a traveling symphony band. It was so long ago, I don’t remember a lot of what I ate there. I remember liking the weisswurst. I was also there this summer, just for part of a day on a layover – but it was long enough for us to leave the airport and walk around for a few hours!

  26. My dad was in the army and I lived in Germany when I was in the second third fourth grade. My husband was in the army and we lived there for three years and had our first son. And I have visited family and friends two more times. love it there.

    Germany, however I absolutely love Lebkuchen cookies. They are mostly enjoyed my me during a morning tea! Thank you for the opportunity to win what will be a morning treat for me.
