Mom made Lebkuchen Cookies many years ago. What a special treat. My grandpa was from Germany.
I was born in Bitburg Germany and yes returned about 10 years to attend the Christmas Market and enjoyed
the hot mullen wine drink in glass mugs.

In 2008 I spent 11 hours in the Berlin airport waiting for my connecting flight to Egypt. My biggest memory was not about the food in the airport but was the arriving and departure board. The boards were not digital yet and I spent hours watching the numbers turn over announcing gates, arrival and departure times.
I love thos cookies. Have bought
them the past 2 years for my special xmas lunch with my mominlaw and Aunties. They are a hit!
Never been to Germany but ‘celebrate’ Oktoberfest locally—does that count :)? The desserts at Oktoberfest are to die for!
I was in West Germany in 1975 during a year-long graduate assistantship. Being oh German ancestry, I enjoy many German foods but schnitzel is a favorite.
I would love to win one if the cookie tins! I am German, Irish and Cherokee but have not visited either Germany nor Ireland. My brother is in Germany even now as I type though! Stationed over there for the last twenty plus years.
Spent 3 years with the Army in Wurzburg Germany. Loved the whole experience. Schnitzel and bratwurst were favorite foods. The beautiful tins of lebkuchen at Christmas time is a special memory.

I’ve been to Munich on a business trip and it was beautiful, but I have not been able to explore Germany the way that I really want to. Those cookies look delicious.

I always remember my grandmother making this type of cookie and loved them!
We went on a cruise down the Rhine River and had several stops in Germany. Loved all of the different pretzels we tried. I would love to add le kitchen to that list.
I have not been to Germany, but my maiden name is Steinkuehler. The German food that is my go to is schnitzel. I had to learn to cook it so I could have it when I craved it. You can never go wrong if you find a great apple strudel.

Yes! I have been to Germany. When my son-in-law was stationed there my parents, husband, and son had a chance to go visit her. They took us all over. It was a wonderful trip! I forget the name but there was a potato dish that was my favorite.

When I was 40 I returned to college and did a semester in northern Germany. 127 days apart from my
husband and kids. It was a challenge but so rewarding. I would love to win these cookies as a reminder!
I haven’t been to Germany, but would like to someday. I am learning German right now. “Locker” means delicious. My favorite German food is Rouladen. My aunt and her husband were stationed in Germany. She was an awesome cook and learned to make many German dishes. This was a favorite that she taught us to make.
