Love, love brownies, but your edge pan would not go over well in my family. We cut the edges off as everyone loves the soft center cuts.
I love all things chocolate and brownies are awesome. I sometimes ice them with more chocolate! Add nuts and they’re even better. I agree that Ghirardelli’s is the best.
BTW I purchased fat quarters from your new line of fabric Pat – I could not resist It truly is beautiful. I’m thinking I would like to purchase more and do a variation of your Home is quilt. I started following you after that sew along but when you showed it recently, I really liked that quilt!
Brownies are the go-to dessert when short on time. Always have a mix in the cupboard ready to make for guests or quick treats. Seems everyone likes brownies.
My family also loves brownies, but we have mixed opinions about the edges. I love the middle pieces, with part of the family agreeing with me and others preferring edges. So a regular pan works great for us!
We are a family of brownie lovers! Where we are divided though is over walnuts. Some of us (the more discerning group I think!!) love walnuts but because not everybody does I end up adding them after the batter is in the pan to just one side and swirling them into the batter. That seems to be the best compromise I’ve come up with. Today’s block is beautiful!

Brownies are my favorite treat! I will eat them with nuts and chips mixed in, but I’m a brownie purist. My favorite brownie is just a good, plain fudgy brownie. It gave me a little giggle this morning when you called your brownies “special brownies.”
YES! to brownies. My daughter took a “foods” class in HS and wowed us with her scratch made brownies. That was 8 years ago and it’s still one of my go-tp recipes. Walnuts and chocolate chips are always a plus! 😀
We love brownies, but our brownies need to be free from gluten/wheat. How can that taste good? Well, I’ve had several people tell me that the brownies we usually make “are the best they’ve ever eaten”. I am an opportunistic cook, so the exact ingredients vary based on what I have on hand, but usually include a gluten free cup for cup flour and some or all the following; coconut flour,almond flour, oat flour, any number of other non gluten flours. I love pecans in my brownies, but my family likes it when I add chocolate chips or chunks.
I so love walnuts stirred in. The Hershey Syrup recipe is my favorite!!! Thanks for having coffee with me before my husband gets up. You come on about 6:15 am in our part of the country.
I enjoy brownies too! My boss makes the best ones with walnuts from the Joy Of Cooking cookbook. Gooey center is my favourite part. Thank you for sharing your love of cooking with your love of sewing. Really enjoy your videos!!!

One of my favorites that we make in our family is blond brownies.
Brownies are a great choice for moving meals, or large groups. Super easy to transport. My secret ingredient is 2 Tbs of corn syrup. It gives them a really nice texture. 🙂
I cannot visit my granddaughters without a tin of brownies! They are my calling card for sure. They don’t like the crusty edges, and that is my favorite part. So everyone is happy. Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix is always in my cupboard !

I love brownies, I used to like them with crusty outside edges, but now I can’t eat crusty or hard foods because of an autoimmune disorder that causes me to get bruises that my antibodies attack the bruised areas and causes blistering. So I can only eat soft brownies (& all other foods)now. But thank God I can still enjoy the soft centers of brownies.
Brownies made from a box with vanilla ice cream and Hershey syrup is my go to dessert….no nuts because my son has a nut allergy. I need a pan like yours!!! Thanks for the block pattern and the daily videos😊

I love brownies! I like them with Carmel swirled in Yum. Walnuts are not a must. My fiancee is not a brownie fan but thats ok…more for me!!
Brownies are the best, especially with chopped walnuts & pecans, but it turns out chocolate is a migraine trigger for me. Blondies are just not the same.
I love to eat Brownies and think the more chocolaty the better. I use the Greens packet mix and love to add in chopped macadamia nuts. My husband prefers them made with chunks of chocolate added in, as do our children. Whatever way I make them, they’re all gone by the day’s end.
I love brownies!! I also always add 3 eggs to make them “cake like”.

I love just about everything chocolate (not a fan of chocolate jalapeños). But brownies!!! Yummy. I like it best when they are dense and have nuggets of chocolate and nuts. I also have been liking the thin brownie crisps lately.
I LOVE fudgy brownies. I am known for making the brownies in our family and I make them homemade due to allergies. I follow a recipe by a gluten and dairy free cookbook and then modify. I have a special USA pan that I use. Everyone fights for the middles though. Thanks for the beautiful block. I thought a quilt of all brownies would look great and then you showed a layout of it. I love, love, love brownies. The rare times I make them, and yes, I use a mix, I add a 1/2 teaspoon of instant coffee which enhances the chocolate. My absolute favorites are my daughter’s. She makes them from scratch and uses less sugar so they aren’t so sweet and the chocolate taste “shines”.

I love brownies. The pan is amazing. I’ve never seen it before. Sometimes I like a little piece of brownie with icing. Love love love the nuts, not so much the chips.
Brownies are my favourite baked treat.
I love to make a double batch from scratch, one a white chocolate batter with milk and white choc chunks and the other dark chocolate batter with milk and dark chunks, and then marble them in the pan. That way you get hints of sweet and hints of bitter, I think it adds to much to the flavour and texture. I also make it this way as my partner is anaphylactic to nuts so we can’t have them in ones we make, and it makes up for the missing nuts (IMO).
Although I will admit to “accidentally” forgetting that our favourite delivery place has nuts in their warm chocolate brownies, and sometimes suggesting we order them when we get delivery, cause then I get them all to myself — and my partner goes along with it every time I suggest it cause he knows how much I love them, and he loves to see me happy. 🥰
Brownies are so decadent! I don’t care for the edge pieces, however. I also prefer not to use walnuts but frosting is a delicious addition!
We love brownies too! When my kids were in their teens they would come home from school and whip up a batch of brownies (that were baked in the microwave😳) pretty much every day.
