This year’s Stronger Together patterns feature the biography of Garrett Morgan, an influential figure from history chosen by Shereece for his contribution to the sewing world. The quilt represents elements from Morgan’s life and work, including the patented zigzag stitch mechanism for manual sewing machines that he invented. - Can you show me the blocks in advance? No, it's a mystery

I love brownies, cake, cookies, chocolates and ice cream. Anything sweet!
Love your videos. Thank you for keeping it fun and light hearted.
I cheat on the Brownies I recently discovered the brownie mix at Sams. It’s Hershey’s Triple Fudge Brownie Mix. all you add is oil and egg. And of course nuts if you want. Oh my, yummy. So excited to be a part of the Sweet Dreams project. This is my first sew along with you and I am looking forward to all your great knowledge and smiles. Thanks. Sharon
Brownies are my absolute favorite!! I can eat them for breakfast, lunch or dinner 😀
My family loves boxed brownies. We add roasted walnuts and just before popping them in the oven we swirl Gheradelli caramel topping into the mix. They are a very gooey turtle brownie. So yummy!!!
I love brownies, too! Especially with pecans!! Don’t make them often.. because I’d eat every last one of them😆
My favorite desert is Brownies. Frosted or Cream Cheese are my favorite. I use the Brownie mix all the time.
Also I love your you tube channel watch all the time. I love the center of the brownies.
What numbers did you use from accuquilt dies.
Brownies are my favorite treat too! I use the King Arthur flour one bowl recipe. We could share a pan my family likes the middle not the edges😂 thank you for the all the quilting fun and great info. ❤️
What’s NOT to love about brownies and so many variations of them!!! Chocolate, gooey, chewy, chunky, nutty, frosted, warm from the oven, served with extra syrup or ice cream……sooo many choices!
I’m a center brownie girl. I’ve used the brownie recipe from the Betty Crocker Cooky Book since I was a young girl. One of the first things I made. My dad loved brownies, so I made them frequently. Much more recent, but still a few years ago, I would make them for my sons to share with friends. I have made several variations, sometimes I will add orange zest to the batter, other times, adding espresso powder to the batter and to the chocolate frosting, or adding a bit of mint extract to the batter and sprinkling the frosting with crushed candy canes, and easiest of all, stir 1/2 a bag of m&Ms in the batter and scatter the rest of the bag on top of the batter before baking.
Looking forward to more “sweet” blocks!
Happy New Year Pat, I love pecans and or peanut butter chips in my brownies, a few years ago I had a co-worker that was a bacon fanatic, so I made him bacon brownies, believe it or not they were amazing.
Happy new year Love brownies, I use Donal Skehans chocolate brownie recipe – yummy.
Brownies are almost a staple food at my house. My 94 year old father can eat them everyday. Ghirardelli’s is the best. I need to get one of the pans you use. I had never seen it before.
Brownies…love, love, love them !!! With or without nuts ! The edge or the middle ! Add a cup of tea and a comfortable chair and I’m in Heaven ! I remember when my Aunt Lil gave me a piece of cheddar cheese to eat with a brownie. It is an amazing combination I would have never thought of !! Cheese and chocolate…who knew ??
Not my favorite – like a blonde better but my family loves the fudge kind. I love the simple happiness making brownies brings my family!
Well this am as I’m in the kitchen cooking a d watching you on my tablet. I was making 2 dinners to deliver later in the day. 1 for a Momma who came home from the hospital after having a new baby. The other 1 was for a family that just lost a member of their family. You’ll never guess what I already had baking in the oven for these 2 families. Brownies! I love that they are simple and delicious. I love the darkness and richness of this scrumptious dessert. Both families were delighted to receive their bountiful baskets. Who doesn’t like brownies? They go with so many things;coffee, ice cream, sweet cream, whipped cream, and of course just plain hot or cold. I put walnuts in mine as well as chocolate chips. Its a death by chocolate treat for sure.
Triple Fudge Brownies are my favs. I like them more chewy than cake-like though.
Thanks for all you do for the quilting world. I love your weekly quilts and although I don’t keep up with them I make them eventually. Working on Summer Soiree at the moment. Out West and Woodland Wonderland are waiting.
I love a good chewy brownie with a little crispy edge. My favorite brownie is a “blonde” with butterscotch chips. Yummm!! And the Ghirardelli is the only way to go!,,
I like to make brownie sundaes. Ghiradelli brownie mix is the best and walnuts are the perfect compliment. Just add a nice scoop of Brewers vanilla ice cream and some hot fudge. Yum! I am not an edge person, I prefer a center square.
I love a good brownie.
Your video brought back a really good memory of a shared meal with my Dad—a specially packed brown bag lunch with the best ever chocolatey, moist, and chewy brownies made by my Mom, just for my Dad and me to attend a daughter/dad party. Of course they’re my favorite dessert now and always.
I love brownies with icing and I like them gooey.
Adding chopped up mini reeses peanut butter cups to brownie batter is a yummy treat.
I love brownies. Warm with vanilla ice cream!! Cake like with walnuts. Hmmm good
Love your videos I have learned so much,
I like chewy brownies – a la mode, of course 😉
Love your unique brownie pan. Love brownies anyway at all, buckwheat are Delish, or with a peanut butter swirl would be my fav. I like to use them cut up small on top of a chocolate cake, as a basis replacing a biscuit in strawberry shortcake, as a basis for chocolate truffle, cut into tiny bits into yogurt or softened ice cream, endless possibilities.
Ghiradelli Brownie Mix is the best! I love that Costco sells it in 3-packs, so it looks normal to buy lots! My mom used to put a drizzle of frosting made from powdered sugar, milk and vanilla on the top, dressed it up to look more elegant. Thanks Pat, for all you do!
I love brownies also Pat. My favorite brownie comes from a Betty Crocker box. Every time I make them I fondly remember my moms saying “I doctor them up”. This phrase meant she added more good things to the mix to make it taste amazing. I call them my triple threat brownies. Lol I add chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and pecans or walnut pieces to the batter. Why do I use Betty Crocker box mixes and like them you ask? Well it’s because I’m called Betty Crocker at my former job. For every holiday or birthday I always would make each employee a birthday cake on their birthday or for holidays I’d make sweets which were cookies, cakes, pies or brownies. Most of the time I’d make brownies because they are my favorite.
Thanks Pat for your wonderful qal’s. I am not a chocolate person but I love brownies only when I add caramel bits to the recipe. Mmm they are so good.
Thank you for the delightful projects and your wonderful energy! You are very inspiring for me. BROWNIES. How can one not love a brownie?!? We do use a mix, add butter cream olive oil, but do not add nuts. We started making them in a mini muffin pan…brownie bites with the edges! YUM!
Pat, I am looking forward to another year watching your daily videos to become more efficient and creative in my quilting journey. I started picking a word for the year last year as a result of your inspiration. I am not a big dessert eater. I do love a little brownie with my ice cream. I also prefer boxed brownie mix. My secret substitute apple sauce for the oil. I also slightly undercook by a couple minutes to make the brownie a little more gooie.
Ok I am not much of a baker, but I love brownies. The edges make the brownie! What a neat pan may have to get one and become that baker! Enjoying your website and YouTube videos. Now to start a quilt project with you.
I’m so glad I finally found where to enter this. I love brownies! Although give me a no edge pan and I would even be happier. I love the middle gooey part!
Brownies are my favorite yummy treat, and the edges are my fav. My oldest sons fav part is the center and my favorite brownie story was when he was in the Army and came home for his R&R i had a pan of brownies waiting for him. I came downstairs and the center was gone! And i didnt care cuz being in Iraq i dont think he had many brownies and he did leave me my edges. He did get another batch before he left. ❤️
My family also loves brownies. I use box mixes. Dark chocolate and cake like. I occasionally add chocolate chips. There are never any left overs. When you find something that works you stick with it. After writing this I am now craving brownies. Will have to whip up a pan and call the kiddos.
Brownies are a favorite in my family. Everyone always asks my mom are you making “Mona’s famous brownies?” And of course everyone loves the edges so I’m going to have to buy one of those cake pans! Also you can’t forget the vanilla ice cream on top of a warm brownie!
Happy New Year Everyone!! We love brownies with extra chocolate chips and peanut butter frosting. YUM!!!
We love brownies I add chocolate chips to my boxed brownies. My husband eats the edges first and he finishes a pan in 2 days. On special occasions I make turtle brownies that have chocolate chips, Carmel and nuts. My kids call them heart attack brownies cause they are so rich. They are everyone’s favorite and always requested to bring to picnics and parties.
I love brownies, they are one of my favorite desserts. I don’t think I’ve met a brownie that I did not like…chocolate, more chocolate and nuts…YUM!!
I like the blue dots for the background of flea market flowers. they look so happy You are giving us so much to choose from again Thank you so much for everything
I am so excited I found you and hopefully if all goes well I will be apart of this sew-along 🙂 Thank you for all you do!
Does the FatQuarter shop have kits for Sweet Dreams?
I appreciate all you do. And so looking forward to a year of color – 2022!
