** FAQ **
- What is a Fat Quarter? A fat quarter is half of a 1/2 yard of fabric cut WIDE so it is 18" x 20"
- Can I use fabric that is not a FQ? Sure!
- Can I use Stash (fabric I own) – Yes! Pull out a bundle of beautiful fabric
- Will I use all the fabric – Not all of it. This is to give you variety, more is better!
- Can you show me the blocks in advance? No, it's a mystery
- What are the Technique? – All Easy Pieced.
- NOTE: The Blocks do NOT LOOK like the topic of the week. This is not a pictorial quilt. I do a topic as it is way more fun than just plopping out a block. I love the memories and sometimes research that goes into the topic. That keeps my Sew alongs fun and unique.

***Fabric I'm using***
You do not have to use the same fabric as me. You can use any fabric you like, I want this to be a quilt you love!

***Goodies for Someone!***
Goodies go to Suzanne Y who said " I love brownies! I do make both box and from scratch. On special occasions I make Cinnamon Brownies with walnuts and topped with chocolate ganache. I have to run now. Going up to the grand babies but will share the recipe on the cooking group later. Have a great day"

Pat, I am thoroughly enjoying the Fall Frolic. I know I’m behind, but your videos are available to keep me on track!
Thanks,
Kath
Love, love, love brownies!! They are definitely a favorite in my house. Though we love chocolate chips or chocolate chunks in our brownies (because who doesn’t love more chocolate???), we do not like nuts in them. (Sorry!) Brownies for the win!
AHHHH Brownies, who can resist them? For extra special Brownies, I like to top them with a Peanut Butter frosting, then zig-zag dark chocolate and white chocolate on top, place them in cupcake papers to travel and serve. Not only does the taste gets rave compliments, but they look like they’ve come from a high end bakery.
My family loves chewy plain brownies. Putting chocolate chips in sound good!
This is my first sew along with you, Pat Sloan. The dessert theme enticed me to join!!
Ghirardelli’s brownie mixes are the best!
I love brownies too especially the ones with chocolate chunks, raisins and pecans in them…I really don’t know anyone that doesn’t like brownies…definitely a favourite with my family and friends…
I love brownies. I like to make them from the box from the store but that is always gone very quickly. The homemade Texas Sheet Brownies are the best though. The recipe gives me a large batch. I am not sure they are true brownies, maybe brownies only in the name, but oh my, they are everyone’s favorite in my family.
Hi Pat, I loved todays video on organizing and downsizing. I make lists too for my sanity. Lol. I love going back and sorting my sewing storage. I’ve learned a lot from you. Thank you. Sending hugs. Carmen
I love brownies ❤️❤️❤️ I love them with nuts and bigger chunks of chocolate. The best ones I’ve ever eaten had caramel in them too. A guy I worked with always brought them for his birthday. I always looked forward to Todd turning another year older.
I like brownies with caramel swirled in the batter and sprinkle Heath bits on top after baking. Yummm!
I love the texture of brownies. So delicious 😋
Love brownies with slivered almonds and dark chocolate chunks that are chewy. I can eat the whole pan. Thanks for your video, it’s a must viewing while I’m having lunch. You keep me company and make me smile with your joy of quilting. I’m from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
I do love brownies as does the family – I like to add nuts chips or other goodies !
I love brownies. They are my favorite. For my birthday I would rather have Brownies than cake. I think I will make me some tonight. Thank you for the craving.
Have a great day Pat
I make my brownies with peanut butter chips in them.
I also have a recipe that has an oatmeal cookie base.
Yummy
Love brownies
Love brownies
How fun. Thanks for the opportunity
Brownies never lasted long when are sons were young. For years I needed to make half with nuts, half without nuts.
I love brownies! I often use a Ghiradelli mix. For extra yummy brownies I spread half of the batter in the pan, place large Symphony candy bars on top, and spread remaining mix over bars. Two mixes also work for a thicker brownie.
Brownies are my husbands favorite. We make them in a cast iron skillet ( use one ONLY for brownies… ask me how I know now…) It is very similar to the only edges pan but the bottom of the brownie is like the “edges”, delicious!
I love brownies!! Who doesn’t! But am I a savage if I say I like the center, especially if it’s a little gooey? I don’t like edges because they are always more crusty. Or maybe I tend to over bake, I don’t know, but I will eat any brownie I can find edge or not 🙂
I love brownies especially with walnuts and chocolate chips.
I love the crisp edge and warmth of a brownie fresh out of the oven. So YUMMMMMMY!!!
Brownies are a fav at our house too and we also prefer Ghirardelli. He likes edges without nuts and I love centers with walnuts so I put the nuts on the top of my share. One of your friends mentioned adding peanut butter which I’m eager to try out now. Yum! My favorite version was adding a drizzle of melted caramel and some walnuts over 1/2 of the batter and then top it with the other 1/2 of the batter for Caramel Turtle Fudge brownies BUT now Ghirardelli’s makes a version so we’ll be testing that out soon.
I love brownies. I prefer a cake brownie with walnuts. It is always an enjoyable treat for the whole family. I also love the “Sweet dream brownie block”. It is a highlight of my day to watch your videos. Wishing you a wonderful 2022!
My husband loves brownies so I get to eat them too!😁. I try homemade recipes but the brownie box mixes are easy when you are in a crunch.

I love brownies!!! I have a recipe for Sundae Brownies and is a hit with my family.
I love everything about brownies! Especially enjoy them with nuts!
I love brownies too! I prefer the centers rather than the edges. I line a pan with Reynolds’s stick free aluminum foil. The pan stays clean and the brownies very moist. Love you channel. Thank you
Brownies are quick and easy to make. Usually make them when I can’t think of anything else to make.
I am not a big chocolate fan. But, I do love brownies and a cuppa coffee!
Love the dream block colors. Is there a recommended fabric set aside for this project?
Brownies are a stple food in our house. I taught my son how to make them at an early age and now he makes them for his 3 daughters! I like walnuts in mine but he has allergies so Chocolate is his game.. Love the block that goes with the Brownies.
Pat, You are the most fun. Thinking about brownies, I use mixes and usually make them for the family in the summer. They go quickly. Ice cream on top out of of the oven is the best.
I did my first QAL with you in 2020 and it is my favorite quilt. I had never even tried an asymetrical layout and I thought — I will just do it. Thanks for all you have done for all out friends during this crazy and stressful time. I think you have been part teacher part friend and part entertainer and psychologist. Getting all the friends up from the couch to do Do and Do what is on the calender. Take Care. Rita
I have a recipe for frosted mint brownies. There are three delicious layers. Definitely, a favorite with my family. I love the endless brownie variations.
Made my list earlier this month. I have about 24 to 25. This doesn’t include the box of quilts I need to bind.
Brownies the first thing I evermade on my own . Boxed of course but it was an
a thrill that I did it and they were eatable. I love them with walnuts, chopped small so every bite has the taste.
I love that there are so many variations!
Pat I love how down to earth you are and how you make every person feel that they can accomplish anything
Thank you
I hope I win
Hi
I definitely love brownies they have always been my favorite also
In the recent years I have had to learn to make them without eggs because of my granddaughter allergies
So I make them homemade. This will be my first so along with you and I am so much looking forward to it
🧵❤️
Fast and easy to get a chocolate baked goodie on the counter for the grandkids after school treat. I like to bake with nuts but not everyone at my house likes them. And how can you put nuts in just half?
I love brownies I like carnal in mine could eat a pan full.
My hubby LOVED brownies, even ate them for breakfast. But after he passed, I can no longer make/eat brownies. He really loved boxed brownies, loved the insides and I loved the “crusts”.
Yum!!! Sewer’s chocolate. Sew satisfying. I would take a brownie any day over a cookie! By the way, I am sew ready for the new sew along!
Love brownies! I do like your kind and yes with walnuts. The hubby don’t like walnuts so I don’t get walnuts much. I have a recipe that a friend gave me years ago that is my favorite. Haven’t made for a while on a diet!
Hello loved your video this morning, we love brownies and I have never seen that brownie pan before was very interesting for those who like the edge piece.
My family is also one that loves the brownie edges. My 13-year-old nephew has learned to make them from scratch and makes them any time he decides he has a craving. It’s really fun watching him gather all of his ingredients!
