I am also a maker, that loves to give my quilts away. I definitely enjoy the process of putting it together, like my jigsaw puzzles that I also like to put together.
My favorite summer thing to do is sitting on my covered deck with the fans on and put together my puzzles. This year, though, I will be able to sew out there, since I just bought a featherweight machine.

Hello! I love to sit outside on the patio area in a comfortable chair sipping on something icy like tea or lemonade in the summer. I have to be doing something with my hands so usually embroidery or crochet. I enjoy light warm breezes and looking at beautiful flowers and birds.
I saw your âQuilters quiltâ this morning on your show. It inspired me to begin making various sizes of hand appliquĂ© blocks myself in perhaps a seasonal theme. Thank you for sharing it. I remember watching when you were deciding the border fabric for that quiltđ. Definitely a real treasure đ
I love, love, love going out and cutting beautiful hydrangea blooms and bringing them inside. I drink in the colors.

Love your beach quilt!! I spent my growing up years living nearby to local beaches in Massachusetts, including visiting relatives who had cottages at Cape Cod! My favorite summer activity is still going to the beach, though I donât get to do it as often living in the Midwest. Looking at your quilt brings back so many memories!
We moved and have a new patio. Iâm looking forward to sitting in our patio with friends in the fresh air as a new summer activity.
