Love summer & sitting at the beach reading! The beach is my happy place!!
My favorite summer activity is gardening.
My favorite summer activity is to sit outside and enjoy my coffee. The my dogs are exploring the yard, birds are hoping it’s time I feed them and might have my phone with me to watch Pat Sloan on U-tube. A nice quiet time to my self Actually I wish I could bring out my sewing machine to sew for an hour or two.
Your quilts are wonderful. It would be an honor to own a Pat Sloan quilt and one hand appliqué! I would hang it in our home on Whidbey Island that we are building soon.
My favorite summer activity is going to the beach watching the sunset over the ocean and walking the beach.

Like you, I love to garden — lots of yummy vegetables. That is, when I’m not sewing. This quilt is a treasure and would be perfect for our new home on St. Simons Island, Georgia.
When at a beach I am usually walking looking for shells as I don’t sit still very well. Now I have expanded to sea glass, and pottery. This fall I started beach combing on vacation and loved it.
I love spending time with my only grandchild for her summer birthday- she lives in Florida and this quilt reminds me of her and spending time at the beach watching her play in the sand and ocean. It is such a lovely quilt and would definitely be loved and treasured. You can tell it was made with love.

My favorite summer activity in South Louisiana is having a crawfish boil with family and friends. I can’t wait for crawfish season to begin!

Love the beach quilt. I love the making process of a quilt but I also love to hold/touch/look at the quilt So it’s a little while before I want to give it away
Such a fun colourful quilt to win. I love the mermaid border and the strips. Sew fun to display it for a few summer months. Quilt on! Creat in! Living between the two great rivers of the USA, the Missouri and the Mississippi, made me a river rat! I LOVE boating in the summer, spring and fall for that matter. Beautiful quilt Pat!
I live in Florida. We have some of the most beautiful Gulf beaches just 30 minutes from me. So, spending time at the beach and packing a picnic lunch to go with it is fun, also.

Back in the day 🙂 my favorite summer activity was to just lay out & tan!! Also, in Jr High was to camp at a local small lake with my family & sometimes took friends with us!
Thank you so much for your amazing videos teaching us all so many things. You inspired me to try hand quilting and I love it so much more than ruler work or free motion. I have made three quilts for my three granddaughters and hand quilted all three of them and they are my favorites. It’s funny though that I’d rather sew my bindings on by machine than by hand. I love your morning videos they always start my day off with a smile, so thank you. I hope you know how much all of your fans love everything you do for us. Thank you for sharing yourself with all of us and teaching us so much.
I love going camping with my son and his family. We have so much fun. They get me to do things I wouldn’t do without them.

My favorite summer activity is our annual family vacation. We’ve been doing it since I was a kid and we started with the beach and now as an adult we have changed it to the mountains. All of my siblings/aunts/uncles/cousins would get a giant house for a week and it was pure joy. I love the quilt you’re giving away as it reminds me of my favorite childhood memories.
