  24. So many people like to go to the beach in the summer but living in Florida I know that it is really hot and crowded at the beach in the summer so I would rather go to the cooler mountains in the summer and hit the beach in the spring and fall. And if that isn’t possible, then staying inside in the A/C and sewing is more to my liking.

  25. My favourite summer activity is packing a boat picnic and spending the day on the water floating, relaxing, and enjoying a oicnic. This quilt would make a wonderful addition to that joy!

  28. Oh my goodness what an amazing giveaway. AppliquĂ© is one of my favorite things to add yo a quilt, runner or mug rug. Most of my smaller pieces are appliquĂ©s. I’m a hand sewer like you and the act of doing the object is my pleasure. Then I hold onto to it and all of a sudden one day a particular person comes to mind and that design then becomes a wall hanging, mug rug, or table topper etc. that’s what makes me happy. So needless to say I would cherish your quilt if I won it. Thanks for giving such a treasure to one of your viewers.

  29. My favorite summertime thing to do is just hang out with the animals on my mini farm, the mini donkeys and goats and mini pigs. They are so entertaining! 33. OMG… it is so hard to believe that you would give that quilt away! So beautiful and an incredible amount of time that had to have gone in to making it… WOW!
Geez, my favorite summer activities are numerous! Of course, going to the beach, spending time with my grandchildren, quilting (I have my sewing room in a “cool” basement)… but just enjoying the warmth and the longer days of summer to do those things make it the perfect activity!

  34. I cannot even tell you how excited I would be to have one of your quilts! Summer is my favourite time of year, I love the warmth and sunshine it is so good for the soul. My favourite thing to do is hike with my husband and our dogs. We love to spend hours walking along the coastline. The dogs swimming and playing in the water while we search the beach for rocks and yes we always end up coming home with pockets full and sometimes the “best” rock is too big for our pockets and we have carried them for miles back to our vehicle in our backpack. Thank you Pat for all you do, you are such a wonderful giving person. 💕
