I would love to win a quilt made by Pat. And, I would probably donate it to a resident at the nursing home. They would so enjoy all the beach related blocks.
This would be the perfect quilt at the lake. Love to be outside and on the water in the summer.
My favorite summer activity is gardening.
It would be exciting to win your beach quilt. I love going to the beach.
I have always loved the beach, went often when we were young. Love your version in quilt form!
I only been to the beach a few times. And the times I have been I have loved it. Just sitting and listening to waves, watching the dolphins & the feel of the nice warm sand. When I go on vacation somewhere and there is a beach nearby I I always try to try to stop & visit for a little while.
I like camping and going to the lake. Always love being in nature.
Great summer quilt! Waiting for the ground to thaw & outdoor gardening.
My favorite summer activities are having my grandchildren come to my pool. I love to also have cook outs and celebrations for summer birthdays or graduations . I appreciate your beautiful summer quilt. Happy 10 Anniversary to you and Gregg.
Summer is wet season where I live and is very hot. Swimming is a favourite thing to do. In quilting I love to learn new things. I have been working on Chicken Salad and hand appliqued them. Your quilter’s quilt is a beautiful piece and the lucky winner will no doubt treasure it for a lifetime.
What an amazing quilt with memories as well as time spent making. Every quilt has memories and love sewed into every stitch. I make quilts for the enjoyment of making most of them I give away to help people to cheer them up make them smile , of course keep them warm
I was just at the beach today. Getting a little tan. Feeling the warm rays soak in. The sounds of all the waves crashing with the calls of the seagulls. I was wiggling my toes in the sand. Feeling the cool water. Checking to see what treasures that washed up on the shore. I would be so grateful to win your quilt. Treasure the hours you spent putting it together. Like they say, it’s the journey that gives us pleasure. Thank-you for all you do.
I live in California and it gets hot here so my favorite activity is swimming in the pool with the grandkids and going to the beach. They are so cute playing in the sand and riding the waves.
Well that will be one lucky duck to win your quilt…. hope it’s me! It’s darling
My favorite summer activity is going to outdoor craft fairs and farmers markets with family and friends! Last summer there was a quilt show in the park in Monument, CO. Beautiful quilts were floating in the breeze with the Colorado mountains in the background. I couldn’t help but have a smile on my face the whole time!
After my dad died last year my mom, sister and I started going to garage sales together we got to spend a lot of time together and had a good time so I guess it is my new favorite summer thing.
Summer is for being at the lake swimming and tending a veggie garden.
I enjoy going to rodeos and watching my son ride bulls. Honestly, it scares me to death. When I’m not in my western gear, I’m at my lake cabin spending time with my featherweight.
I would be honored to win one of your quilts!
It would be exciting to win a quilt made by you, Pat and this one is really special. So much love went into the making of it and I understand what you said about it being the journey more than anything else. We live on a small lake and my favorite summer activity is having all of the family here to enjoy a pontoon ride around the lake or fishing with the grandkids or just watching everyone having a good time. Thank you for sharing you quilting journey with all of us who follow you!
I like camping, gardening, quilting, and having summertime family barbecues.
In the summer, hiking and swimming are two favourites. The summer quilt is absolutely wonderful.
I also love the making and love gifting what I make. Nothing more satisfying than seeing someone enjoying what you have made x
My favorite activity in the summer is sitting on my deck, listening to the sounds of nature in the late afternoon or early evening. And just being one with nature.
I totally enjoy watching you on YouTube Pat you are amazing I love your color choices on that âfree so long. And I would love to win that quilt a beach sceneries and all the fun stuff that you had appliquĂ©d thank you so much for sharing your talent with us
My favorite activity all year round is sewing but I do enjoy a summer BBQ with friends, along with all the fresh vegetables/salads & fruits we have available from local growers.
I use to take my kids to the lake when they were little. It was some really fun times. Now they are in their 30’s and they go to the lake with there friends.
I love that beautiful beach quilt! As a Jersey girl, the shore was part of my childhood. While we still go to the shore, we don’t spend time on the sand just strolling the boardwalk.
The quilt will be a treasure as it brings back wonderful memories of your visit and workshop with Berry Basket Quilt Guild. What a fun day and evening!
My favorite summer activity is gardening. And that means I can preserve all of the things I grow to feed my husband and I through the winter.
My favorite summer activity is our family trip to the beach! Now that we have grandchildren it is even more fun. Having this beach themed quilt would be such a perfect addition!
I to am a maker. A true get fabric, make a quilt gurl. I love shopping for fabric, cutting out blocks, sewing them up and then figuring out how to put them in a quilt . That is my passion. Then away they go. I have some special ones, maybe 1 for every 4 or 5 . I display them on my beds at different times, then I get tired of them and away they go as gifts for lots of friends and family.
Love your Gone to the Beach quilt. We will be going to the beach soon. Thank you for sharing your quilts with us. I enjoy watching your videos. I love making quilts and have given a couple away as gifts. I made them especially for a certain person, so I personalized it for them.
Favorite summer activities – vacations, fun day trips with the kids, like zoo trips, our local libraryâs summer reading program, vacation Bible School. For the last four years, Iâve participated in a quilt shop hop that takes us to quilt shops all over the state, love that.
Happy 10th Anniversary Pat! I look forward to your daily videos!
Love these owls
Happy 10th Anniversary! Iâm loving everything about your beach quilt and I know you love it too. Thank you Pat for the mornings I watch you on YouTube while I drink my coffeeâŠ..Iâve learned so much. I hope you keep doing what you do (at least until Iâm dead).
Love the beach theme!
Thank you for sharing the love of quilting!
Would love to win the quilt.
I love to travel during the summer and the quilt epitomizes a relaxing summer vacation at the beach.
Would love to win this. Owls are so beautiful and this quilt you made in the perfect colors. You are always a joy to watch and I have learned so much from you.
Oh my goodness! The beach is my favorite happy place! I love your quilt with beachy designs! Pat, you are so generous! I would love to win this beautiful quilt! It would be my treasure!
What a wonderful quilt! I have many wonderful memories of summer trips to the beach with my family. So this quilt speaks to me!
What a beautiful quilt! My favorite summer activity is having the grandchildren over to swim in our pool.
Since I retired three years ago, I have done container gardening with my grandson. He loves spending time choosing seeds and selecting plants with me. I love the time we spend together so much. He’s soon going to be a teenager so I’m treasuring every moment, especially this coming summer.
Beach is my happy place. Very relaxing. Love the variety of beach scenes throughout the blocks you created on this quilt. Thank you for your giveaway!
Your quilt is beautiful and reminds me of my attempts at applique which aren’t the best but I love them.
I remember following the videos through this quilt getting finished. I love it!
Because Summers are so hot here my favorite activity is hunkering down in my basement sewing room and sewing the heat of the day away. When the sun goes down and the mosquitos go to bed we’ll light up a fire in the back yard and roast hot dogs and marshmallows with the grand kids. Good times!
My favorite would be just going on vacation with my daughter
Growing up my family lived on Long Island. We used to visit Lake Ronkonkoma, then joined the community pool, and went to Tobay Beach, & Fire Island. When I turned 16, I got certified as a Lifeguard Instructor and taught swimming lessons at the Plainview Community Pool. After moving to Lee County, Florida, we loved Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, Captiva Island, & Marco Island. I have always been a water rat so this beautiful quilt would give me memories of growing up near the beach. Thanks for all you do, Pat Sloan!
