Beautiful applique quilt. Brings wonderful memories of camping at the beach with my grandkids and doing many special activities; biking and hiking the trails, running the surf, flying kits, looking for shells and special looking rocks.
My favorite Summer activity has always been reading. My grandmother would not let us stay in the house, so I always had a book.
My favorite summer activity is spending time with my grandchildren from California. We go hiking, canoing, and roast marshmallow at the firepit here in Tennessee

Your statement about the joy is in the making of the quilts touched a soft spot on me, although Iâm a brand new quilter who never saw anything before, I do enjoy the creating beautiful pieces that all together make wonderful arts. Iâve only made few small quilts, larger was lap size with it was donated to nursing facility where my daughter works, my very first not perfect quilt brought tears of joy to the unknown recipient, someone who will use it and appreciate. That is all itâs for me. And yes I love pretty expensive collection fabrics, but that makes even more rewarding for me when I give away.
Iâm now starting to work on small projects for use them as decorations in my home, inspired by Pat Sloan. Thank you agaian

That being said, I can’t quite figure out how to make one for me, lol. I would love that beautiful beach quilt, all that beautiful thoughtful work.

I have many fond memories as a child going to the beach with my family. It was one of the few getaways we did in the summer. I grew up in a busy farm so the beach was a treat! Beautiful quilt and do much fun!

Oh Pat đ, this quilt is my favorite of all youâve shown to us! The BEACH truly is my HAPPY PLACEâŁïž 8 of us gals go to Holden Beach every Spring and a few of us go again in October. My nickname is Beach because Iâm the first one out on the sand in the morning and the last to come in!! Shelling is my favorite activity and I have quite the collection. When I started going to quilting classes I found out we would be making a 9 patch lap quilt. When I began searching for fabric I knew it had to be beachy designs and Iâve taken it with me on our trips to Holden. Lots of amazing memories have been and are to be made on our yearly trips!đâ±đ

Catching that sunrise along the beach, the over 65 young ladies floating in the ocean in their donut tubes is the most relaxing way to spend our summer days, gardening, friends and strangers watching the boats along the canal from the ocean, summer tends to be full of laughter, outdoors, seafood, fire pits, family, friends, and strangers. Simple things in life.
My favorite summer activity is working in my vegetable garden. I use to be in the garden every day 2 or 3 times a day before my knees got too bad. Now that I have had them fixed I am hoping to get back in the garden this year.

Oh what a terrific giveaway! An original quilt made by Pat Sloan! Think of the bragging rights. Oh my heart! I would love to win it! I love Summertime and going to the mountains to hike and picnic. As a child, my grandparents always brought watermelon to lay in the cool mountain water and after the days activities we would all get a slice of that sweet treat. It is my favorite childhood memory with my grandparents and Summer spent on the water. I still do that to this day with my own children and grandkids.
My favorite summer activity is watching my grandchildren play baseball, flag football, lacrosse and field hockey! Keeps me busy!! But never too busy to watch your videos!!
