My favorite summer activity was going camping with my parents when I was young. My birthday is in the summer and often we had a spanish bar cake from the local grocery store for my birthday cake. My parents always remembered to bring candles with them to the campground from home.
I love the beach. Each year we rent a house on the beach and the entire family comes. It is the best time ever.

My favorite summer activity is swimming and enjoying the time with my grandkids. They each have a different interest so I do many different activities with them while they are off from school.
I also enjoy the making of my quilts. But I LOVE the giving and seeing the expressions of joy and seeing that I made someone feel very special. It just warms my heart.

I love to sit on my front porch in the summer and watch the children playing in the early evening. I usually bring out some hand stitching and a beverage to enjoy.
We live on Cape Cod, MA, so beach combing is a favorite activity. (We do not sit in the sun. My husband is a melanoma survivor.) We also ride our bikes on the bike path, several miles of which run parallel to the ocean. Your beach quilt would be a perfect addition to our Cape Cod home!
My favorite summer activity is quilting. I am teacher, so the opportunity to quilt is sporadic. When school is out for summer vacation, I have more opportunity to quilt and relax.

I am a beach baby – grew up at the beaches of NY and NJ. My parents owned a summer home and we had the privilege of spending every summer and everyday at ocean’s edge. I would love to be the recipient of such a seashore treasure from you, Pat. I could wrap my self in wonderful memories.

I work at an elementary school, and I’m here to tell you that the staff looks forward to summer break as much, if not more so,than the students do. One of my favorite summer activities is to sit out on the deck in the lovely sunshine just enjoying the nature around me. The green grass, flowers in bloom, birds flitting to and fro. I enjoy listening to the sounds of summer as well.

My favorite summer activity is spending time with my grandson who lives in another state. When I was young, I spent the summers with my grandparents. Now my grandson follows that tradition by spending it with me. He was only 4 when his mother (my daughter) passed away so this time means very much to me. We top off the summer with a vacation somewhere we havenât been to before and visiting train museums.
Summer is filled with lots of outdoor activities, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, cocktails on the dock, campfiresâŠ.a favourite time.
I live in California, so warm summer days at the beach are something we do often. I spent long days with my kids in the warm ocean, these days I splash around with my grandchildren, making memories. At the end of the school year, there’s a trip to the coast with my daughter and her family. We also enjoy gathering at my sister’s house to swim and have family celebrations. The quilt is lovely!
I love the beach but I am in the south so I generally like to go to the beach in the spring and fall because it is just too hot. In the summer I like to work in my flower beds and quilt… well, I like to quilt all the time, but in the summer I get reprieve from the heat outside, ha-ha! Love this quilt Pat!
