What a beautiful quilt and generous give-away! My favorite summer activity is just being outdoors – walking, stitching out on the deck, watching my granddaughter play softball.
Summer has always been gardening/yard work and dog shows. I used to compete in conformation shows, but now my 2 dogs compete in AKC Scentwork/Nosework. “Find it”!
My favorite summer activity is boating and skiing at the beach and in the Ozarks with our mom and dad and my siblings and their families. Always fun when we are altogether playing . Your quilt just screams “Summer Fun”!

(We converted the dirt under my windows to sand so the Grandkids can play without making a muddy mess). So we have a real beachy scene to sit outside and enjoy a cocktail while watching the grandkids play.

Love the Quilt!! It would be an honor to have one of your Quilts!! I haven’t been to the ocean since the late 70’s. The last time I went was with a friend and we got lost coming back home. We stopped at a State Liquor Store to get directions to get back on track. LOL We were so sun burned from laying on the beach all day!! Oh the memories!!

My favorite summer activity is every year the first full week of August my family and extended family go to LBI in New Jersey for vacation. We have about 3 houses full of relatives and have a great time! We have been doing this for close to 50 years! The rest of the summer is spent in Louisiana inside sewing – because it is way too hot outside!!
Just like Pat is āred, red, everything redā I am outside. Outside. Outside. Everything outside. Veggie garden, flowerbeds and baskets, mow the grass. ( I have 3 acres, I mow at lest half of it) I love mowing! Reading, hanging with the dogs!! Stitching or cross stitching in the shade. BBQing and eating in the yard. I have my 4 yr old grandson full time so we make the most of the outside time as we can. We love the spring and summer! As a side note, my ensuite is beach/ocean decor. Mermaids, octopi! My favorite summer activity is spending time in the sunshine. As a child I enjoyed going to Lake Michigan. I enjoy the beaches when they are not crowded. Donāt like the heat too much. I would love to win the quilt. It is beautiful.

My favorite summer activity would be going to a beautiful white sand beach.I live in Missouri so that isn’t possible. Our humidity is extreme, so my favorite mind activity is waiting for Autumn weather. My family teases me every summer, that’s ok I enjoy the a/c!
For years, till I turned 50 and broke a finger, it was softball. Now itās a combo of traveling and of course quilting!
