  1. Love cooking outside, fishing and playing in the water when I can. The days I sew I open up the windows and let fresh air in and watch the birds outside the window.

  2. My favorite summer activity is exploring and discovering new/old sites! I tend to walk my husband’s legs off! lol! The quilt you are giving to a lucky person, reminds me of where I use to live in Florida. And, since I was a child my vote to stay there was vetoed. so home we went to Wild, Wonderful West Virginia? Which I love too! I love the Owls. I think I’ll do one for my door. Thank you!

  3. Everyone has been so generous to provide the give aways for your 10th anniversary. Each give away has been wonderful. But when I saw your quilt, my heart sang, “Please, mine, mine, mine!” I would love to enjoy this beautiful quilt in my home. And happy 10th Anniversary. May there be many more.

  4. I love to rest my mind in the summer breeze.
I can close my eyes and almost, almost start to feel the peace that each of needs.

  5. I love to go camping (or more like glamping!) with my grandkids in the summer. Love your quilts Pat and would be honored to own one.

  6. My summers were taken up with farming, growing a huge garden and putting up the produce, and taking care of the perennials outlining the edge of the garden area. Love your quilt!

  7. Love summertime & the beach. Spent many days at the beach as a kid. Was a “Beach Bum” in my younger days. Having a quilt made by Pat Sloan would be a treasure.. Thanks Pat for all your wonderful guidance & tips…

  8. I love to be at the beach and listen to the waves and sounds of the activities going on.
I try to go to the beach when I can. Having this would allow me to enjoy all those memories.

  9. Each summer we go south to visit friends & go to the beach. I would love to win your quilt. I am a new subscriber & love your videos.

  10. Sitting on my own deck doing handwork. Thanks for all your inspiration. You are valuable to all us quilters.

  11. Congratulations on your 10th Anniversary !!
I love watching and being with the grandkids and family around the pool.

  12. our favorite summer activity is going to the beach. I was raised on an island in the Northeast. I’ve always lived near the Ocean. When my dad was little his family would harvest clams and crabs. It was during the depression, and they would sell them in local restaurants. When I was a teenager, one of my favorite summers was camping at the beach, “crabbing” or “clamming” in the afternoon and helping mom clean fresh corn on the cob for dinner. followed by fireworks, of course!

  13. My favorite summer activity is fishing, be it a stream or the lake. We do not live where beaches are available. Maybe a little sandy spot along the streams would be considered a beach. The lake we go to has very steep banks so it is only boat fishing. Just being outside rejuvenates me.

  14. My favorite summer activity is spending time in my swimming pool with my husband, and going camping.

  15. I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. My favorite activity in the summer is our family crab feast at the beach. That quilt is a quilter’s quilt! I would not tire of looking at it and exploring all the details.

  16. Beautiful quilt Pat so nice of you to gift it. My favorite summer activity is summer road trips with my husband. We are both school teachers and we love to road trip and just explore and spend quality time with each other!

  17. My favorite summer activity is riding my Harley-Davidson motorcycle on the open road. Here in North Dakota, we only get about 6 months of riding in. After that my favorite summer activity is getting together with family & friends for BBQ’s.

  18. OMG!! That quilt is amazing. I’ve never done anything like this before, even thinking about applique scares me. I want to start with something small like a mug rug or table runner. I have all of your books and you give me so much hope that I can really sharpen my skills! We go camping a lot to the ocean and this would look great in our motorhome.

  19. My favorite activity in the summer is spending time with my grandchildren! They can stay overnight more beings how they don’t have to go to school, just more free time to spend with them!

  20. I love the owls, I finally got a new sewing machine to start quilting again. I’m starting with my God childs.todfker bed quilt made from their baby clothes.

  21. I have several outdoor summer things I like. One is backyard picnics with family and friends. The other is going to Registered Trap Shoots and connecting with friends that don’t live nearby. I would be honored to win your quilt Pat. Thank you for the fun give aways to celebrate your 10-year Anniversary!

  22. We were in the Military and when we were Stateside, it was such a joy to go back home in the summer to see our families and enjoy picnics, Minor league baseball games, and exploring new places together. I’ve done needle turn applique and totally appreciate all the work you put into your adorable quilt. What a masterpiece! Congrats on your 10 years!

  23. My favorite summer activity, is taking a mental break from homeschooling. I always try to get as much sewing done as much as I can.

  24. In the summertime my favorite activity is hiking in new places with my daughter and grandson.
There is always something we find that’s interesting, besides it makes wonderful memories with my family.
