Summer isn’t very different from other seasons here so I just keep on doing my quilting and whatever comes up. So we like to take our granddaughter on a trip to visit distant relatives.

Some of my happiest memories are going to the beach with my mom and grandparents. I still love the beach. I would truly love to win the summer quilt, it is so beautiful.

My favorite summer activity is touring upper Michigan, mainly the beauty of Mackinaw Bridge and beach shores with the grandkids. They love to swim and diving off the pontoon is great for them too. Then onto making a recipes together for dessert or appetizer for later. They are proud to share the flavors of things they made. Several like sewing and learning to make new fabric items. So much to look forward to summer fun for grandma!
What a fun quilt! Summer is such a fun time of year.
My favorite summer activity is sitting by my goldfish pond watching them swim around. It is very soothing. Also lots of fun to throw food pellets into the water to watch them eat. They come to me just like any other pet!!
My favorite summer activity is going on a trip. Short or long, car or airplane. I just love to go somewhere. I am hoping for a beach getaway soon.

I love being outside with my plants and flower gardens in the summer and watching the insects and birds.
Like you, I’m a maker! But I do have a few favorites that I will alway keep. Going to the beach is always special due to the fact I live in the middle of the country.
Swimming is my favorite summer activity. I enjoy swimming all year round, but much more when the air is warmer.
Sitting in a shady spot with a cold drink doing hand work, embroidery or applique.
I love having family cookouts and BBQing in the summer. I love the quilt and appreciate all the time it took to make it.
What a gift it would be to own this hand appliquéd quilt. I actually bought the pattern after you had shown it a while ago but have not attempted it yet. Certainly couldn’t do hand appliqué. Great quilt, love the bikini! Would be an honor to own!

I love the owls! Our neighborhood has a Hike & Hoot (hike,eat and look for owls after dark) day every summer and I’d like to make one to raffle.

My favorite summer activity is simply sitting in the sun, especially at the beach. Since we live in TN, far from a beach, I have to be happy sitting on our porch in the sun. It really is the sun and not the sand! Happy Anniversary!

My favorite summer activity is camping! More glamping now that we are older, we drive our camper. I love to take some sort of hand word with me so I can behave in the passenger seat on our trips. When we are home, it is gardening mostly heirloom tomatoes.

I love to travel in the summer in between gardening and setting up my featherweight on the deck to do some machine piecing. Enjoying dinner on the deck with my spouse and sharing a large, cool pitcher of fortified Sangria makes for delightful evenings!! Your quilt is beautiful Pat! I would love to give it a good home‼️😉💕
