My favorite Christmas decorating is to hang the Christmas wreaths on my front door. But my most favorite event is celebrating Christ’s birth at Church
My favorite holiday event is watching A Christmas Story. I love that movie at Christmas time.
My favorite Christmas event is Christmas carolling. Spreading Christmas cheer and singing warms my heart.
I love everything about decorating for Christmas 🎄
My favorite Christmas moments are shared times with my young grandchildren, listening to Christmas music, opening the advent calendar, making ornaments and gifts, and decorating the tree together.
My favorite Christmas event is hanging my special ornaments. My special ornaments are the ones that my children made when they were little. I still put them on my tree every year, right up front where I can see them whenever I pass by the tree. I have so many beautiful ornaments but the ones that my children made are my very favorites and they remind me of when they were little and all the special Christmas memories that go with them.
My favorite Christmas decoration is, and all was has been the angle at the top of our family Christmas tree! It has been the first thing that goes on the top of the tree and the last thing to come down from the tree after the New Year. I feel that she watches over our family and whispers in the Lords ear to keep our family safe and health and happy. Have a Blessed Christmas!
I love to walk around the town center and see all of the outdoor lights. I always do a jigsaw puzzle of some kind…we always did that when I was growing up.
My favorite Christmas event is Christmas Eve Service with family and the gathering after the service.
My favorite decorations are my Christmas quilts I have made over the years & decorating the tree with handmade ornaments made by myself & various family members throughout the years.
My favourite Christmas decoration is my little musical Christmas tree. I have timed lights on it so it comes on and goes off on it’s own.
My favorite holiday events involve my 3 year old grandson – from our local crazy golf cart parade to cookie decorating – viewing Christmas through his eyes is such a gift!
My fav holiday moment is spending time with my family. Just love it!
My favorite part of Christmas is decorating the tree and reminiscing about each ornament my son made while a small child. It warms my heart!
Tis the season to keep Christ in Christmas. My favorite thing to do on Christmas eve is go to the children’s services. This year I put up “MY” tree. The tree has white lights, red ribbon and all the white porcelain ornaments. I have been wanting to do this for years. But no worry, the outside of the house has the multi colored lights.
My favorite Christmas thing is decorating my tree I have a lot of ornaments I bought when I was a teenager, different shaped one and I love vintage ornaments. My other favorite part is making Anise cookies and decorating them. They are a family favorite, everyone looks forward to them Xmas eve.
My favorite Christmas event is family cookie making day!! We all get together make lots of cookies and decorate them:) so much fun and laughter. My other favorite thing for Christmas is lights lights and lights. My granddaughter turned 3 and we took her around the neighborhood and she just loved all the lights , hearing her laughing and joy just brightens your life:).
My favorite Christmas event is when the whole family, kids, grand kids, great grand kids, all spouses get together and we play games on Christmas Eve, so much fun
My favorite Christmas event is going to see Santa when my kids were little. Seeing their eyes with the excitement of the coming season. Love the decorations to bring the city to life.
My favorite thing to do at Christmas is watching classic shows with my grandson and making Christmas cut out cookies to decorate.
My favourite decorations on my Christmas tree are the ones my 3 boys made in daycare. They are all grown up now and the cornflake wreaths and play dough handprints are looking a little worn out but I love them.
My favorite holiday decorations are those made by my children and grandchildren. The event I enjoy the most is the family get together. We all contribute a variety of snacks, catch up on what has been happening, talk, laugh and enjoy.
My house is full of snowmen decor come Christmas time, which stay up till February/March most times, as our Winters are long. I also have an old Nativity Scene that has a prominent spot each year. So many ‘old friends’ make an appearance from our small storage space under the stairs at Christmas time.
My favorite holiday decoration is a yarn made Santa my mom made for me and my brother. The original was made by my great grandmother. We loved setting him out each year. Although we have differing memories of where he always was placed. It just wasn’t Christmas until he was set out. So when when we both were grown and started our own decorating at our houses, my mom made us each one. Mine always sits up on couch and my brother sets his under his tree. It’s the sweetest decoration I have. If nothing else gets put out, Santa is always on my couch for the holiday.
My favorite event of Christmas is getting all of the girls together for a weekend of candy making. Daughter, daughters-in-law, sister and sister in law drive 2 to 3 hours to my house on Friday evening to a crockpot meal. We get up early Saturday morning for breakfast burritos and mimosas. Then the fun starts, we make fudge from a family recipe, divinity, peanut brittle, peanut Pattie’s, cinnamon candy, Martha Washington candy, and anything else that someone wants. The granddaughters are now old enough to join us. The leftovers from Saturday breakfast go into the Sunday morning breakfast casserole. Memories!!!
My favorite Christmas is listening to music and seeing the displays from other places and events.
Favorite memory of Christmas is the singing of Slient Night without musical instruments just voices. One Christmas a German man song it in German. Also the song O Holy night. Always a favorite
My favorite event every year is going to a craft Bazzar 🎄🎅☃️ put on by the Southern Handcraft Society. They make collector edition ornaments by hand, stuffed and tole painted…all snowmen and Santa’s. I have them on our tree and they are super cute! I love ❤️ listening to Christmas music 🎶 on the way to the show. It is always the first weekend in December, 2 1/2 hours from where we live now. I just love going and look forward to it every year. It is wonderful to give handmade ornaments on top of my gifts 🎁. Oh yes, and there is usually a Starbucks peppermint hot chocolate purchased for the road trip :). I love Starbucks too, Pat!
P.S. looking forward to your new table runner book!!! Hugs 🤗
My favorite Christmas event is Christmas morning when my son-in-love reads Luke 2. This year my first great-granddaughter Talia will be the life of the party I’m sure!
My favorite holiday event is.. The grandkids Christmas concert. They work so hard and it’s always amazing.
My favorite holiday event is when everyone gets together to decorate homemade cookies. The grandkids bring a new dimension to the fun. I hope you holiday season continues into the new year.
I have so many favorite decorations and ornaments … my grandma’s antique bird ornaments from her native Norway, my mom’s tiny ribbon angels she made from her leftover wedding ribbon (my parents were married 61 yrs before my dad passed), and the tiny bell from their first Christmas tree, and a nice mix of my own special ornaments from what the kids & I have made. I am blessed to have grown up in a loving environment.
Good morning Pat. My favorite Christmas event is putting up the tree. All my ornaments have been given to me over the years by friend and co-workers. It brings me so much joy remembering those times. Enjoy your day. 😙
My favorite decoration is a tie between the ceramic Christmas tree that my dad made and all of our family ornaments that we have collected over 30 years of marriage.
My favorite decoration is all the picture ornaments I have made with my kids and grandkids pictures. I make one for each year until they are 18. I have so many now I can’t put them all on the tree. It’s so fun to look back at them and see how they’ve grown from one year to the next.
My favorite decoration is the extra large poinsettia that I placed in a green urn in front of my house.
My favorite event is having my kids/grands over to decorate the tree. I ply them with soup and munchies as we string popcorn and cranberries for the final tree decoration. My gram’s ginger cookies also make an appearance as a family tradition!
My favorite holiday event is on Christmas eve, we gather for a simple meal, go to the Christmas eve service at church and then after church we have game night, with a lot of love and laughter.
My favorite decorations are the outside lights. This year we will not be putting the lights on the roof as my husband has some mobility issues. However, we bought some new lighted deer and I am thrilled with those.
Traditionally we put up our trees and started decorating the day after Thanksgiving. Since the kids are grown and I’ve retired I’m taking my time and decorating a little at a time. However, one tradition won’t change. My daughter’s birthday is December 22, and I make sure her birthday is separate from Christmas. Gifts are wrapped in birthday wrapping, etc. My birthday is also in December and I always felt cheated as a kid when I’d receive a combined birthday/Christmas present.
My season starts with Christmas quilt making and gift making after Halloween.
My favorite decoration: tree ornaments which take me down memory lane of loved ones past and present
My favorite Christmas event is putting up the tree and lighting for the first time during Christmas.
My favorite holiday event is putting up my Grandmothers and Mothers ceramic trees they made years ago. It gives me a sense they are sharing the holiday with me since they are no longer with me.
My favorite event is getting together with Son’s family to celebrate. We do brunch and open presents together
My favorite part about Christmas is putting up my tree and nativity set.
My favorite Christmas decoration is my hand-painted ceramic Christmas village, complete with people, street signs, old-fashioned light posts, park benches, and lots of trees! Most of the buildings I painted, but my mother had a HUGE village; and, upon her death, all 13 of us kids got part of it. For example, I got her courthouse, in which she actually set a judge’s bench with the judge sitting behind it. Handmade, of course. I got the post office that has a dropbox outside, with a little girl mailing a letter to Santa. And much more. I love putting it out every Christmas and seeing our work come to life once again, if only for a month.
My favorite holiday event is pretty simple. We get in the car and go all over looking at Christmas lights, and stop to get hot chocolate on the way. My favorite Christmas decoration to put up is our stockings. They are canvas, red for guys, green for girls. I started with 4, but my family has expanded, so I have 8 now. Each has its own Christmas symbol appliquéd on it….reindeer, candy cane, snowman, gingerbread boy, tree, angel, candle and ornament.
My. Favorite Christmas event is putting my tree up with all homemade decorations from my children, grandchildren and now my great granddaughter and things I have made over the last 50 years. Watching the baby look at all the lights is priceless!☃️❄️
Besides Christmas Eve Mass, my favorite event at Christmas is walking the paths at our park at night where they put up lights and play music – it’s magical! And my favorite decoration is a set of “fat friar tuck” figurines that are just so funny and cute!
