I am so happy to have had the idea to add squares around the outside! That used up fabric and added just the right touch. I really am a 'borders on the quilt person'. Some I don't border, but many I just want to add that 'frame' around it.

***Sweet Dreams.. Mystery Sew Along Details***
I'm so excited to announce the Next Block Wednesday Sew long 'Sweet Dreams'! We will celebrate favorite desserts each week, yum!
** DETAILS **
- RUNS: January 5, 2022 to May 11, 2022
- Blocks: ALL PIECED in a variety of sizes, see the layout in the download below.
- ONE assignment per week.
- SIZE: 60 /1/2" x 72 1/2"
- IMPORTANT

- TIMING: Wednesday around 7:30am EST. Email notice goes out noon-ish in my time zone, EST. The email is NEVER when the block is published.

- What is a Fat Quarter? A fat quarter is half of a 1/2 yard of fabric cut WIDE so it is 18" x 20"
- Can I use fabric that is not a FQ? Sure!
- Can I use Stash (fabric I own) – Yes! Pull out a bundle of beautiful fabric
- Will I use all the fabric – Not all of it. This is to give you variety, more is better!
- Can you show me the blocks in advance? No, it's a mystery
- What are the Technique? – All Easy Pieced.
- NOTE: The Blocks do NOT LOOK like the topic of the week. This is not a pictorial quilt. I do a topic as it is way more fun than just plopping out a block. I love the memories and sometimes research that goes into the topic. That keeps my Sew alongs fun and unique.

You do not have to use the same fabric as me. You can use any fabric you like, I want this to be a quilt you love!

I’m a fan of anything chocolate!
I forgot all about this pan. Going to get/order tomorrow. Not a fan of nuts in my brownies or cookies. My mom put them in everything, probably so us kids wouldn’t eat them all. Nuts in brownies and cookies remind me of my mom. I love my mom.
Love brownies…especially with chocolate icing!
OMG Pat!!!! My kids destroyed my pan fighting for the last edge piece Brownie. Hence, we own the edge pan now and all are happy. It was such a funny night of laughter, and my son bent my pan back into shape. I use a brownie mix and we like denser brownies. What’s not to love about a brownie. I love Blonde Brownies. I love love love your sew along quilts.

I also LOVE brownies except I like a middle piece instead of an edge.
I thought the square in a square sashing was a terrific addition, then came the border – Wow! I feel a border completes a quilt but I have made some modern designs without one. You need to watch the edges on those, they really need a stay-stitch around the perimeter.
