  • Can I use fabric that is not a FQ? Sure!
  • Can I use Stash (fabric I own) – Yes!  Pull out a bundle of beautiful fabric
  • Will I use all the fabric – Not all of it. This is to give you variety, more is better!
  • Can you show me the blocks in advance? No, it's a mystery

  1. Love the tree. I buy ornaments everywhere we go, so goid memories when hang in tree. Also enjoying my wall hanging quilt this year.

  2. My favorite event is making tamales on Christmas Eve. I usually prepare the Chile from scratch few says before then cook the pork butt and shred it. I combine the chili and meat and let blend together. I then soak the corn husks and make the masa. If I am alone I only make a few for me but if my son comes home we make about six to 8 dozen so he can take some home. After midnight mass we come home and eat nice hot tamales and open our presents. I love Christmas. Merry Christmas from my home to yours. β™₯️

  3. I love looking at the lights on the Christmas tree. My next favorite thing is watching 2 of my granddaughters perform in Nutcracker each year.

  4. My two daughters and their families come on Christmas Eve and we exchange gifts and have dinner. My three grand children and 2 great granddaughters are everything to me. My favorite ornament is a nativity my dad made for me several years before he passed.

  5. My favorite event is we all get in the car and drive around town looking at the Christmas lights. We drink hot chocolate and say “Christmas lights” in silly voices, and no one does it like my dad!!

  6. My favorite Holiday event is the Christmas Parade in my small town and then they light the big tree in the downtown square. The high school choir sings Christmas songs and the kids get to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. My favorite decorations are the ones made by my now grown kids. Christmas gift sewing is always good and baking cookies is the best.

  7. My favorite Christmas event is taking my kids driving around to look at Christmas lights. We do it every year and get them hot chocolate. I love to hear their commentary (they are 6 and 9 this year).

  8. My favorite Christmas decoration is my outdoor nativity. The manger was built by my son 3 years ago as a gift. I did the designing and he the carpentry. The figures are store bought. Very special to me. I would love to win your upcoming giveaway. Everything included is your give away is so appealing and practical. Thanks.

  9. My favorite Christmas event is midnight mass. Memories of family no longer here feel close. I love seeing the Christmas lights, the poinsettias, the naivety, singing the traditional songs with others;

  10. My favourite time now is at my brother’s house in the country on Boxing Day. We live in different cities now and we don’t have a car. It has been trying with Covid everywhere.

  11. My favorite holiday decoration is a little plastic Santa that has a red bulb in it. It belonged to my grandmother.

  12. I love to decorate with lights. They are my favorite because they make me happy. I trim the edge of the house and of course the tree. lots of glass bulbs on the tree to reflect the light!

  13. My favorite thing to do at Christmas is to drive through the holiday lights at Coney Island in Cincinnati. There are tens of thousands of lights and synchronized music. It always feels so festive, driving and singing along!

  14. Favorite is enjoying the simple things, rides to see Christmas lights!πŸŽ„Listen in nag to Christmas 🎡

  15. My favorite Christmas decorations are the dated ornaments we have been collecting since 1975, when we married. 1979 and 1983 birth of our children. 2016 starting the birth of grandchildren. We have some from every year. So awesome looking back at all those memories.

  16. Hi Pat, my favorite Christmas decorations is my ceramic nativity set I made when my boys where mall, and all the ornaments they made over the years?

  17. Happy to see you doing so well, Pat!
My December holiday is Hanukkah and favourite day is the last when all candles are lit. I love to have friends and family around the table, eating latkes, laughing and enjoying beautiful candlelight.
    Irena

  18. My Christmas season begins with the first day of Advent – I set up my Advent Wreath (3 purple and 1 pink candle). Every morning, before my day begins, I make myself a cup of coffee and light the number of candles for that day and I sit quietly, enjoying the tranquility, quiet and calm. It sets the pace for the rest of my day.

  19. My favorite decoration is my handmade ceramic nativity that my grandma made for me when I was married. It is 43 years old and has survived 3 children and 6 grandchildren. She passed away on Christmas Eve in 1990

  20. Oh Pat, what a wonderful giveaway bundle!!! Love me some Lori Holt and her planner almost as much as I love you! Thank you for encouraging all of us EVERY DAY for the past almost 2 years. My favorite Christmas decoration is my Christmas tree. We have a beautiful cut glass front door and the lights on the tree look just so magical through that glass.

  21. My favorite event is stepping back to look at the decorating of the tree and all the lights I put up. I turn off the regular lights and see the pretty multi-colors of lights.
I also enjoy making my Santa cookies. they have lots of frosting on them. I use my cake decorating tips to make the beard. if I knew how to add a picture of the cookies I would.

  22. My favorite decoration or should I say decorations are the lights. When I was little we didn’t put lights up on the outside of our house. My mom would always decorate the inside. Hanging lights from corner to corner on our living room ceiling an all around the door frames. It was always the different colored lights too not the white ones. It was bright, colorful and beautiful. So I carried the tradition on decorating like that for my babies. Now they do it for theirs. And we also decorate the outside too with lots of shiny, bright, colorful lights.

  23. My favorite holiday event is gathering around the breakfast table on Christmas morning with extended family, where we enjoy a special breakfast, not your everyday cereal and coffee. I make the cinnamon bun recipe my mother-in-law used to make, and we all enjoy the excitement of the day as we savour the buns and remember loved ones.

  24. My favorite activity is making donuts for Christmas. I do this once or twice during the holiday season.

  25. I found my grandmas ceramic Christmas Tree from 1970 (has been packed away and forgot about since she passed in 1978) and cant wait to set it up this weekend. I remember as a child moving the little colorful lights around (and getting scolded for doing it) now i have 3 yr old twin granddaughters and hope they love it as much as i did. Guess this will be a traditions to start/share with them.

  26. My favorite Christmas decoration is a candle that our niece used and gave to us the first Christmas after our son passed away. Bring memories of how supportive your family can be.

  27. My favorite Christmas decoration is a bow tie quilt my mother made and hand quilter. It is turned on Point and looks like a wreath

  28. My Favorite Christmas decoration is my Red, Green and Gold table runner I made years ago with Hoffman Christmas fabric. I love it so much I made one for my best friend.

  29. The best part of decorating for Christmas is when the grandkids decorate the tree. I put the non-breakable on the floor and they go to town. They are 5, 3 and 1. The last decoration that goes on the tree is a paper plate angel topper that my son made 36 years ago. It’s the best.

  30. My favorite decoration is our nativity set, to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour. Merry Christmas!

  31. My favorite holiday things to do are decorate the house and holiday baking. I don’t do as much baking as I used to. One family favorite is cut out sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles. They aren’t as fancy as some decorated cookies, but they are a tradition and we have to have them.πŸŽ„β„οΈβ€οΈ

  32. I love everything about Christmas, especially celebrating the Reason for the Season, our Savior’s birth. A wonderful family tradition has been to go to a Christmas tree farm to cut a fresh tree, then decorating with ornaments we have gotten the kids each year as a gift. Recalling when they received the ornaments are always fun. Then one day they will be able to have a collection of ornaments to take with them when they start their own traditions.

  33. My favorite holiday decoration is a wooden deer made by my dad approximately 60 years ago. It’s put together like a puzzle, falls apart often even in the slightest of breezes, and someone will always rush to put it back together again. The kids and grandkids expect to see it displayed each year and also enjoy putting it back together.

  34. My favorite decoration is the house ornament we got when we moved in here in 2006. It replaced a house ornament we got our first Christmas 30 something years ago which we lost in a hurricane. It means home and family to me. Our favorite event is the opening 1 gift night before Christmas that we started with our kids. Don’t have as many gifts under tree now but we still try to do it. Christmas is smaller and sadder because of loved ones who are no longer with us and distance between others but we try to make it special even when it’s only us 3.

  35. My favorite event is the Jolly Holiday Lights in Des Moines Iowa. A fantastic drive-through light display that benefits Central Iowa Make a Wish and generates fund to pay for multiple wishes each year for kids with terminal or life threatening illness. My extended family members have volunteered at the event each Christmas Eve since 1998 when my nephew passed that Thanksgiving weekend due to spinal cord cancer at age 12. He had received a Wish from Make A Wish of Central Iowa just months before, and was thrilled with the gift.

  36. My favorite Christmas decorations are my Christmas wax Angles which are hand carved from Germany. They are already 40 years old and in excellent shape.

  37. My favorite Christmas decoration is a handmade ornament of our great granddaughter’s
handprint which I keep out all of time since I got it.

  38. Hi Pat, my favorite holiday for decorating is Christmas πŸŽ„, I have a big collection of Jim Shore figurines that I put everywhere in the house, I just love them, they all have some quilting motive on them. Cheers 🍻

  39. My favorite decorations are all the handmade ornaments on my tree that I have been giving for many years by friends and family. They bring back happy memories as I hang them on the tree. Merry Christmas to you and Greg.

  40. My favorite holiday event has to be Christmas dinner with my family. We live such hectic lives that it’s good to get together for a meal and catch up with everything that is happening in our worlds!!

  41. i see Canadians are not eligible. In any case, the family decorations I have collected are my all time favourite. Each year unwrapping and decorating the tree with so many memories, the best.

  42. My favourite holiday tradition pre-pandemic was being able to cuddle with my grandchildren and great grandchildren on Christmas Eve, reading them The Nght Before Christmas””. Now I’m content with FaceTime visits three or four times a day seeing them opening presents, enjoying their new books or toys and enjoying their Christmas Dinners. Several years ago I gifted most of the decorations to family when we downsized. Now I get to see them in video visits and still enjoy them.

  43. My favorite decoration is the Christmas tree. Unpacking all the special ornaments that my kids and grandkids have made for us as gifts brings back so many memories. When the lights are on and it’s all decorated it becomes my quiet space. So beautiful especially when the rest of the house is dark.

  44. My favorite event at Christmas time is shopping for all my friends and family. I take time to personalize each gift for each person to make sure they will enjoy each gift or be surprised by what they receive. The gift of giving really gives me joy when I see their faces light up as they open their gift!
