- What is a Fat Quarter? A fat quarter is half of a 1/2 yard of fabric cut WIDE so it is 18" x 20"
- Can I use fabric that is not a FQ? Sure!
- Can I use Stash (fabric I own) – Yes! Pull out a bundle of beautiful fabric
- Will I use all the fabric – Not all of it. This is to give you variety, more is better!
- Can you show me the blocks in advance? No, it's a mystery
- What are the Technique? – All Easy Pieced.
- NOTE: The Blocks do NOT LOOK like the topic of the week. This is not a pictorial quilt. I do a topic as it is way more fun than just plopping out a block. I love the memories and sometimes research that goes into the topic. That keeps my Sew alongs fun and unique.

I love choc chip cookie brownies… a layer of brownie batter topped with a layer of choc chip cookie dough and baked to form a very tasty combination of the two! But any brownie will do! I love edge cut brownies, extra soft
I love toasted pecans in most baked goods. Toasting them in advance enhances their flavor. I also like edges and have a pampered chef brownie pan that makes individual brownies and so I get 4 edges for each one.
I love a boxed FUDGE brownie that I doctor up with nuts! Easy peasy!
I enjoy brownies, but the opposite of your family. I like the center pieces. Usually just use the brownie mix as the starting point. If I use nuts I use pecans. Mostly I just enjoy a good brownie with a nice choclate frosting.
When I was young I worked at a cookie place that also made brownies. The brownies were huge. It was brownie, then a layer of Danish Chocolate Cream Cheese, then another layer of brownie. I can’t remember if they were also frosted, I kind of think they were.

I LOVE Brownies!!! My favorite dessert! I love them soft and fudgy. I just use Betty Crocker’s boxed mix. Sometimes I like to add pecans. I live in Texas, so we have several Pecan trees in our yard.
I love to make and share brownies. A family favorite! I will be looking for the Ghirardelli brand next time I shop. You have whetted my appetite for that treat. (I like the gummy gooey version!) Heading to my kitchen right now to scrounge for the ingredients and just might have to bundle up and go to the store. It’s a lovely 3 degrees outside. 🥶
Back in College we would make an airport run to a restaurant for their Eskimo fudge Delights which was basically a brownie with ice cream on top! I still make my homemade version.

I have a great recipe that used “Chocobake”. Melted baking chocolate. I can’t find that now in stores.
Put pecan halves on top. Yum!

Love to eat brownies slightly warm and with ice cream. We found a sea salt and caramel ice cream from Aldi’s that taste so good with brownies. I also love walnuts in brownies, but the hubby doesn’t.
