- Can I use Stash (fabric I own) – Yes! Pull out a bundle of beautiful fabric
- Will I use all the fabric – Not all of it. This is to give you variety, more is better!
- Can you show me the blocks in advance? No, it's a mystery
- What are the Technique? – All Easy Pieced.
- NOTE: The Blocks do NOT LOOK like the topic of the week. This is not a pictorial quilt. I do a topic as it is way more fun than just plopping out a block. I love the memories and sometimes research that goes into the topic. That keeps my Sew alongs fun and unique.

My husband loves chocolate and when I make brownies I use a brownie mix and add miniature chocolate chips and use a brownie pan that is divided into squares. He does not like nuts in his brownies. I also make sure that I don’t overbake them.
I love brownies of all kinds especially with walnuts or pecans in them. I love boxed and homemade with Hersheys syrup as well. A person just can’t go wrong with brownies.

Yum, Yum brownies with walnuts, soft centers. My best recipe is going to the bakery at the market–the brownies are always just right.
Brownies – what’s not to love? I use the box mixes, but didn’t know Ghiradelli has a mix – yum! The more chocolatey the better! I find I make them more in fall and winter. And, with a very cold glass of mile. Must check pantry to see if I have any mixes and get to baking. Thanks Pat.

We love brownies in our home also. But no nuts for us, and everyone wants the middle brownies. Sometime we even cut the edges off. Lol. I guess that’s what makes the world go round. Lol. Thanks Pat for another great block.
I love brownies especially with walnuts in them! I use just about any of the box mixes but I do like Ghirardelli the best. I always make them fudgie and take them out of the oven a bit early so they stay moist.
My son is GF so we tried King Arthur fudge brownies. I’m telling you they are better than regular full gluten Betty Crockers!!! We sometimes add pecans because that’s what Sutherners do! Love the fabric and love having my coffee with you each morning.
Brownies are a favorite in my house! I have a good scratch recipe, but am not opposed to box mixes, as they are really good also. I love pecans in mine – however nobody else wants nuts so I add them to my brownie sundaes.
Unfortunately no brownie stories from me. Severely allergic to chocolate and nuts. This “brownie” block works for me.
I like Brownies, not love them! But the edge pan my make me change my mind! I love the quilt block!
Brownies – YUM!! I used to make them from scratch years ago & would store them in the freezer – I found they were even better and more moist & chewy after being frozen. Oh goodness, now I’m craving brownies – well, I’ll have to see if I can come up with a good gluten free recipe.
Brownies are our favorite too. If warm with ice cream or cold with some milk. Now that my kids our grown I’ve halved the recipe for a smaller pan as fresh is best.
Brownies are a big favorite in my family, too! My husband likes it with walnuts, our adult kiddos prefer no nuts. If there are not cholate chips in the mix I will add some Tollhouse chocolate, or sometimes I will add in a heavy dose of Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup! And the Edges are my favorite, too!!
Brownies are always one of the desserts I have when I cook for family gatherings. My grandchildren aren’t fond of nuts, but when I bake for just my husband and myself, large broken up pecans are a definite must!

Love fudgy brownies with walnuts and frosting! My hubs is chocolate, chocolate, everything chocolate, so a pan never lasts long around here. Don’t make them too often for that reason. 🙂
Brownies are the best desert. Love the corners. Have a pan that makes square brownies and they are so good. Just have to reduce the baking time.

Love, Love brownies. When I worked I was the brownie queen! They all always asked me for brownies for their birthdays. I use a mix and use 3 eggs instead of two that the box calls for. I think the secret to great brownies is to not over bake them.
I like chewy brownies. Brownies are just so comforting with a hot chocolate or coffee. A perfect snack when I take my break from piecing and quilting. Pat thank you for all you do ,I don’t know how you do it!

Of course I love brownies!! I prefer ones with walnuts in them but I will never refuse one without them!! Looks like this will be a great sew-a-long. In good “taste”.
I like brownies under a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup on top. Special treat in the summer time.
My family loves brownies too. I’ve used mixes but my favorite recipe is one my mom always used when we were growing up. I think the secret to it is that you beat the egg/sugar mixture for ten minutes which creates such a lovely texture.
Soft chewy brownies with chips & nuts are the best! Rarely get tot have any as my husband prefers no nuts in anything!

I love brownies! Only problem is I eat the whole pan, cuz they’re sooo much better when they’re warm and fresh and gooey.
