  1. I would love to add custom shelving to the closet in my sewing room. I’d love to be able to uber organize my stash with it.

  2. I would love a bigger sewing room where I could have everything in one place especially my long arm with the 14ft. table. A big space for a design wall. And it all be in a room with multiple windows for natural light and a beautiful view.

  3. The next item that needs to be added to my sewing space is a new sewing machine. My 25+ year old machine is about to give up the ghost. It is still sewing but randomly beaps and does other strange things. I know I would enjoy a new machine tremendously, but I’m pretty attached to this old one.

  4. I love it all. Can always use new tools and what a joy to get beautiful fabric!! Have followed you for years just wish I could do all the fun programs you have going on. Trying to finish all the quilts I have started. I love applique so you know how time consuming that is! Nothing like a bright beautiful pieced quilt to do in the middle of it all. Your books are excellent also! Like anyone else I love new things to use! Thanks for all you do!

  5. A steam station as I seem to have problems with irons leaking. I’m on my third one this year! Hoping a steam station will provide steam as I need it but the water will never leak onto my project as the tank is totally separate

  6. Would love to have more closed storage space and above floor space for books and quilting magazines as well as a bigger surface for sewing.

  7. I’d love to add amachine designed just for quilting, so I can do larger projects at home and maybe quilt for others, too 🙂 It’s just a real challenge on my home machine!

  8. I like to get a new iron, one that has a good shot of steam. Maybe an Oliso. The iron I have is 5 years old and it just does okay.

  9. I want to add more shelving for storage and a mid-arm quilting machine and table, but alas all the wall space is already taken with bookcases and sewing furniture! I guess I need more space!😉

  10. I don’t have enough shelving or a piece of storage furniture that works for me. I need to either redo my shelving, or buy a piece of Ikea furniture to fit in my storage closet to make everything more organized.

  11. Space! The bedroom I’m using is just too small for everything to fit and have room to work. Of course if I’d do 1 project at a time it wouldn’t be so crowded. That will never happen.

  12. I have the 108″ frame now and it’s great, just wish I had a mid arm machine to use with it instead of the Juki because when doing really big quilts I run out of room in the neck before I get to the end of the quilt.

  13. I would love a place for a design wall, as I still have to lay everything out on the floor of my family room when no one else is home for a while. 😊 But I’m from the age of Make do or do without. So I will do just that. Love the ideas I can copy from you Pat, for organizing my small space tho.!

  14. Shelving… I have limited floor space so I am thinking of adding shelves on the walls above my machines and along the ceiling. The shelves along the ceiling would be for batting, seldom used interfacing, and future projects.

  15. First, I want some good fairies to come and cut out my quilts! Then, I’d like a cozy chair to hand sew and look at quilt books

  16. I would like to add a fabric wall I think it is call to put my blocks on to move around while I figure how to set them up for the quilt top.

  17. I would love to add some sewing thread and pens or pencils for fabric marking. And of course, one can never have enough fabric…
    Thank you Pat

  18. I’m starting to dream about upgrading to a new sewing machine. My current electronic machines have been out for a while but I still think they have some life in them. However, the lure of new machine features…ooh, so hard to resist! Fortunately, in the meantime I’m working my Featherweight to it’s fullest so that’s giving me some time to really think about my priorities.

  19. The next thing I’d like to add is an antique Singer sewing table with the iron treadle and a feather weight machine. A girl can dream. And while I’m dreaming, I’d also someday like a giant island that is half a cutting surface and half an ironing surface. 😉

  20. I need to add more time on to my day…other than that I am all set, I really have no needs or greeds at this moment. Notice I did say moment
