The Random picker decided my Logcabin quilt should live with Joann S who said
"My favorite quilt is the first quilt I ever made! My daughter wanted to learn to quilt and she convinced me to take a couple of classes at our fabric store – I was only mildly enthusiastic about quilting – even though I had been a sewer for years. I decided to check out additional classes for us at my local quilt shop and there on the wall was this wonderful quilt with birds on branches. When I asked about it – they told me they were having a retreat the following weekend to make this quilt! I signed up -( my daughter couldn’t attend for family reasons). I made that quilt, which I adore ( it hangs in my sewing room!). Since making that quilt, I am completely hooked on quilting! I had heard people talk about quilting as an addiction, but didn’t understand it until then. This was the quilt that got me to become a quilter!"
Congratulations Joann! I've emailed you

My most fun and favorite quilt was Flea Market Sew Along by Lori Holt. It has huge flowers on it. It made me so happy to see the giant flowers bloom across the quilt. Anyone who sees it says the same thing….What a happy quilt!
Hi Pat
My favorite quilt I’ve ever made was my first quilt, which was a quilt along with you. It was Summer Soirée, and I did it from a box or material I got at a yard sale.
My favorite quilt, because of the memories it invokes, is a simple patchwork that I did in fall colors (oranges, tans, golds, and plums) that I made for my daughter when she was in college. She still uses it but now it’s on her son’s bed. I just love that quilt for its timeless four-patch design!
I recently made a quilt called Eufloria and it was so beautiful the eufloria fabrics were so happy and bright the patterns were quick and easy and before I realized it I had it finished backing binding and all everything was so beautiful the only thing was I wish it had been bigger is was about 60×70 but I think it is the quickest and most favorite quilt I have ever made.
My favorite quilt is a large rooster (Ann Shaw pattern…took her class). Lots of fun with many leftover fabrics. Love your quilts and all your inspirational videos. Thank you!
I made a quilt one year for my daughter as a Christmas gift. It was full of beautiful from a line that I honestly don’t recall now. The colors were various shades of purple, green, a little bit of teal and a few other colors. By the time I was done it was well over a full size and it was by far the biggest that I had ever done. As a matter fact, they had to stand on chairs for me to take the pictures at Christmas. I love the color combination, and I had no pattern to start with. So as I normally do when I’m sewing, I fly by the seat of my pants and hope that it turns out well. This one did purely by accident. I was able to put a pattern together that balanced beautifully. Hopefully, in the near future, I will find some fabrics as gorgeous as these were that I can put together for her.
My favorite quilt is my first quilt, it’s a very simple rail fence alternating with squares, but I was so happy that most of my seams match and that I could do it! The best part is the quilt simple as it is, hooked me on my love of learning to quilt. Still a beginner but just LOVE it. So glad I made my first one!
My favorite quilt that I’ve made is a pink and brown or board bargello quilt in the shape of a heart.
Red and white……..a king size sampler that was a block of the month on another quilting site. There are many blocks…. all different sizes and all different techniques……machine piecing, hand piecing, applique, paper piecing, even some embroicdery and buttons scattered here and there…. you name it, it’s there. I changed a few of the blocks to personalize it a bit and then…..hand quilted the whole thing. The backing is a red and white polka-dot that just adds to the fun of it.
It is probably “the quilt of my life”. We sleep under it every winter and I never get tired looked at it.
My favorite quilt is wallhanging called Spring Hill farm . I love the panel and the line of coordinating fabrics!
My favorite quilt was “Geese on the Meadow” by Kim Diehl. I turned parts of the block into paper-pieced sections. I enjoyed improvising. It was challenging but I loved it.
My absolute favorite quilt is Merry & Bright. I’ll never give it away. The fabric is in aqua and cranberry Christmas theme. Lots of cardinals, branch and snowflake motif. There’s a nice setting block and i fussy cut the cardinals into the center squares. It just makes me feel happy.
My favorite quilt that is done is a Puppy quilt by Elizabeth Hartman. I made 2 one with the smaller blocks and one with the larger blocks. They were for 2 of my grandsons. I look forward to watching your videos, I often learn something new. Thank you.
My favorite quilt that I’ve made was a purple gradient quilt that I made for my neighbor.
My favorite quilt is one I made when I first came to Ivinson Home for Ladies. It is a simple pattern with gorgeous William Morris type fabric in blue, and Rust and gold
My favourite quilt that I made uses Sakura Park ( long OOP ) fabric by sentimental studios for Moda . My sister gave me the fat quarter bundle orders from the USA for my birthday. I have always wanted to visit Japan as I love, gardening and cherry blossom trees. It’s soft pinks, blues and greens – 8 inch squares separated with a solid green sashing. The quilting is birds in free branches. It’s a generous queen size .
The 2021- American Quilters Stitch Along by Lisa B.
My favorite quilt that I have made so far is the sew along we did with you last year using your Tantalizing Table Topper book. I made it with Judy’s Blooms fabrics (gorgeous lavender, blue, pink and green with a white background) and gave it to my Mom for Christmas! She Loves it!! That’s why it’s my favorite.
My favorite quilt is the first one. It was a class at “the Medina Quilting Bee” We got the lit from them and had to but McCalls Quilting magazine. It has wonky stars all the way around the outside. Log cabin blocks inside. They start st gree, then green blue, blue purple, purple red, red orange, orange yellow. They are arranged like a sunrise or sunset. I love hanging it in the living room and just looking at it!
My favorite quilt is the one I made in memory of my mother. She had a sunny disposition and always had a cheerful yellow kitchen. She fit the phrase “if life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. I chose the Yellow Brick Road pattern and made it all shades of yellow and gold. I found a black background fabric with lemons on it for the border and backing.
My favorite is a mystery quilt from our guild that is done in deep purplish wine batik with med fern green and darker tanish gold. The colors are just breathtaking together. Congratulations on 100,000!
My favorite quilt is the one I made in memory of my mom. One thing on the label is “I love you very much”, which is what we would always hear as we were leaving her house.
I’m excited
My favorite quilt was made for my great-grandson Max. It was a pattern called Hello Sunshine by It’s Sew Emma. It was done with farm animal prints and I just love it. Thanks Pat!
My favorite quilt I have made so far is the Heartfelt Charity quilt that I made to help the Make a Wish charity done every year by the Fat Quarter Shop. Not only did it help the charity but, I was able to gift it to my daughter as a heartfelt showing of my love for her.
My favourite quilt is a fusible appliqué quilt I made with Australian animals, all in bright colours. I’m a senior but it speaks to the inner child in me
My favorite quilt is a one block wonder using six Shadows Butterfly panels by Northcott.
My Fav Quilt ever is my “FireRed Family Quilt” in 2009.
I have 2 daughters, 7 sister-in-laws and many nieces that all quilt and for a number of years we did group projects; sometimes each doing the identical pattern, but in our own
fabric/color choice and sometimes each exchanging a specific color and number of blocks with everyone in return getting their selections and then creating our own finished quilt.
the RED year, 2009 – I created a four patch from each participant 5″ blocks and then embroidered a set of lips with their name and placed it center in their block with a center block that has the name and date of that years project.
I love the variety of reds of all the blocks and how I sashed/bordered with red & blacks. very stunning. It continues to touch my heart as a few of the loved participants have passed on but are still remembered and loved.
My favorite Quilt is the one I made after I watched your star quilt pattern, and I made a quilt of valor for a gentleman who had just found out he had cancer, and that was the prettiest quilt, and I was so glad to give it to him great pattern by the way. I’ve made it several times love it. Love it. Love it.
My Favorite Quilt is: Summer Breeze, by Gail Kessler. I found her pattern in a Quilt Mag. Just had to make it. My Mom bought all the fabric for me to make it when she was in Oley,PA. So it has a lot of memories!
My favorite quilt so far is last year’s free Halloween quilt from fat quarter shop that I added additional blocks and then I added Halloween words as borders using Lisa Bongean’s alphabet pattern.
My favorite quilt is a spool quilt by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts. I made it out of my batik collection. The spools are pieced and it has a beautiful appliqued flower border. So fun to combine piecing and applique with my favorite batiks!
The favorite quilt so far was a Sunbonnet Sue I made for great niece
My favourite quilt is my Illusion Quilt. Made with Lady Bird by Chrystal Manning for Moda. Just loved the fresh clean look of it.
My favorite finished quilt is a take on the Grandmother’s Flower Garden, it’s a pattern from A Quilting Life.
Congratulations Pat! I love your channel!
My favorite quilt that I made is a Seattle Seahawks quilt for my husband. It’s not the quilt itself that made it my favorite, but the reaction from him when he received it made it my favorite!.
My favorite finished quilt is a take on a Grandmother’s Flower Garden by A Quilting Life.
My favorite quilt is one I made for my daughters co-worker. She was retiring and each of her students was given a block to sign. After finished the kids presented it to her.
MY FAVORITE QUILT IS THE ONE I WAS MAKING WHEN I HAD A STROKE. I PIECED IT AND QUILTED IT BY HAND FOR THERAPY.
My favorite quilts. I made was for my best friend. Unfortunately she passed away about 3 weeks after I gifted her the quilts. I made out of the same fabric, a queen size one for her bed, a twin size one because she was really sick and I thought if she had to be in a hospital bed she could have a matching quilt, and she asked me to make one for her coffin. It was such a great honor making these for her and having her as my best friend. I miss her everyday
My favorite quilt right now is my flannel rag quilt. It came out amazingly rich in color and soft in feel. Yes this was a surprise as colors were so dark I was worried.
My favorite quilt I made is a double wedding ring in 1930’s reproduction fabrics. I made it in 2010 to celebrate my 50th wedding anniversary.
Primitive Garden designed by Lisa Bongean is the one. Wool appplique galore! It hung (and received a ribbon) at the last in-person Vermont Quilt Show in 2019. It weighs a ton.
My favorite quilt was one I made for a granddaughter. I used a panel with an appliqued elephant that had a satin pink for part of the elephant. My granddaughter loved it and used it till it was just a rag. A very loved quilt.
I made a quilt of valor that was a favorite.
A pink and gray nine-patch. Simple but beautiful. For our youngest granddaughter for thirteenth birthday ♥️
My favorite quilt I made is a crumb block shadow with a red background. I got the idea from the Quilting Marine on you tube. and my second fave is Home IS done in blues and browns. Thank you
Congratulations Pat I enjoy your videos everyday! My favorite finished quilt was an early one called Laurel Wreath which I made with my grandmother who inspired me to learn to quilt. All the best in the future!
My favorite quilt I have made so far is when I did the sew a long with you for Out West, I just love the blocks and my choice of fabrics ❤️
My favorite quilt is named “My Defender’s” it’s t-shirts, embroidered blocks, pieced blocks, and pictures of my husband, and son who both served in the Army. They are my Defenders and I thank them and love them. The back is also pieced with patriotic fabrics. I made it way back in 2009.
