I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks

TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1'  didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

  1. I am new to quilting but have made queen size quilts for my granddaughters. I am now making twin size for my brothers as lap quilts..

  2. I make lap quilts and baby quilts for the most part. I love finishing fairly quickly and going on to the next thing. I tend to be sewing ADD. I also love to make coasters, gift bags, and other smaller projects for gifts. I LOVE the fabric in this giveaway!

  3. Mostly smaller projects – wall hangings, table toppers, baby quilts… too many people to make gifts for to make a king size quilt!

  4. I believe that I have an addiction problem. Since a friend introduced me to Quilt Along with Pat Sloan, I can’t get enough. I make mostly baby blankets and lap quilts.

  5. I’ve only made a few baby quilts and a few larger lap quilts. I am making smaller quilts as I am still a novice, eventually I’d like to make oversized twin quilts for my grand children and eventually queen to king size for our grown children. Mostly I want the quilts I make to be used.

  6. I make different things. Started out on my bucket list to learn how to quilt. Then my Aunt was in the Joplin tornado and was having a hard time,so I asked my cousins and her sons to go get 1 yard of fabric that when she looked at the fabric she would think of that person and feel our love wrap around her when she used the quilt. I have been hooked ever since. I make Christmas tree skirts , microwave bowls, lap quilts and a couple of bed quilts.. thank you for this opportunity

  7. I sew almost every day and love to use bright colors offset by white in many of my quilts. Throw quilts are my favorite because they get seen & used the most. In between my own sewing….I have many quilt tops my mother made. She passed 8 yrs ago. I’m hoping to finish them for family members. 2 graduations coming up 2018.

  8. I mostly do lap sizes but have done a twin size and quilts for veterans. I have also done crib size, stroller size and play mat size. Would love to do a queen size but it overwhelms me with the size. May just have to get brave enough. I hope I win this giveaway, I have only won something one other time (that’s not good odds since I am in my 60’s). I love quilting with Pat Sloan, so glad I found her site!

  9. I would love to win this. I like to make the older style like my grandmother made. Thanks for the give away. 🙂

  10. Hi, I love all of your patterns and fabric! Lately I have been making small or wall size hangings but I try to also do some throws.

  11. I have made all sizes of quilts. For the past year and a half I have been making baby quilts to send to Nunavut. My friends and I have sent over 300 baby quilts to the hospital in Iqaluit for the newborn babies. A very rewarding project and an easy sized quilt to work with.

  12. I love making quilts and quilted items in lots of sizes. I just like to have something going with quilting at all times. Kinda feeds my soul! Life can be hard if you can’t have an outlet! Quilting is mine! Can’t be blue with quilting to do!

  13. would love to win these! I come from a big family and now the children’s – children’s are having baby – made a lot of baby quilts & lap quilts & will be making a lot more lol – trying my hand @ making twin size quilt – wish me luck
love your all your posts and patterns – thanks for all you do

  14. I have done mostly large quilts but I am doing some lap quilts now to use up some of my stash. Love these colors.

  15. My sister and I use to quilt together. She died unexpectedly. It’s sites like yours that helped me get back into my sewing room.

  16. I make mostly bed quilts, as ai have just recently been bitten by the quilting bug and now my family all want a quilt from me!!This would be perfect for my son, who loves blue!

  17. I’ve been trying to learn to quilt on my home machine, so I’ve Veblen concentrating on smaller projects — all my larger projects are WIP!

  18. I do a lot of different size quilts. It depends on my mood and how much time I have. I am a longarm quilter and my customers come first. I could quilt all and all night I just love it. My daughter who is disabled also has learned to quilt, so,we always have something going. We no longer have a dining room, but a sewing room along with a room full of fabric. LOL. Collectors.
