I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks

TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1'  didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

  11. I love the colors in your give away. I would love to be your neighbor and go do all the things you do. I know for sure you must have a huge space to work with to store all that you do. Maybe I will get to retire soon and do all the quilting that I Want to do. Keep up the good work

  12. I like to consume my time with larger projects, bed quilts are a favorite but love making any thing that requires me to sit and sew. Thank you!

  14. Hello Pat. I mostly make small and lap-size quilts. The larger ones are difficult on a domestic sewing machine, lol. Wonderful giveaway. Thank you for the chance to win 🙂

  15. I make mostly lap sized quilts. They of course take less time. And that enables me to give more as gifts to family/friends.

  16. I’m relatively new to quilting and have realized the more I learn, the more I enjoy trying new things. Currently, I am using one of Grandma’s Kitchen patterns to make a queen-sized quilt for a Christmas gift, which I think will be my favorite (so far). I really love seeing how things come together!

  17. I don’t have the patience for bed size quilts any more. So now it’s lap quilts, table runners, placemats, cases for my electronics, water bottle and glasses.

  18. Love your blues give away and the runner pattern…my favorite colors. I make quilts, runners, pillows, pot holders, wall hangings you name it…I’m making it!!! Love your site…you get me motivated…

  19. Large sized quilts are what I mostly make, however I love making wall quilts. They’re my idea of a “quilt toy!!” Thanks

  20. I make it all depending on the need. Last year I made quilts for my children and grandchildren. Wall hangings are the most rewarding for me because you can finish quickly whereas queen and king sized quilts seem to take F O R E V E R!!!

  21. Love giveaways! So many great projects, my brain just whirls! Still working on Solstice. Sooo behind.
Sold our home (not prepared since it wasnt on the market), scramble to find something (unfortunately gownsized and lost my big big quilting room),
    pack, move,
son-in-law passed, trip south to be with my daughter
    Trying to unpack and organize…..tired
BTW. My birthday is Wednesday and this would be so loved!
    Thanks Pat

  22. I think I make more table runners….but do regular quilts and baby quilts frequently. Right now, I have got locks from 3 fb quilt groups going…plus blocks for my daughters wedding quilt almost finished (wedding end of October). I did use some of your Grandma’s Kitchen blocks in her quilt! Too much going on. Thanks for the giveaway ~ to package looks awesome and whoever wins is going to love it!

  23. Lately I’ve been making baby quilts or wall hangings. Have made several twin and queen sized quilts and am working up the courage to tackle a king size quilt for our bed.
