I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!
We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks
TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1' didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.
So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

I make wall quilts. I can get a finish and it’s very satisfying. I’d love to won your giveaway Pat!
I love to make scrap quilts
i make allsorts, i am currently working on quilts for the grandkids, i also love textile art so loads of scrappy bits are used up on these, i have a hand cranked singer sewing machine so everything is pretty basic but i just love any form of fibre art to be honest and dabble in many things. Thnaks for the chance at the giveaway.
Right now I seem to be making mostly lap quilts. For the last couple of years before that I was making mostly bed sized quilts. This year I am also working on a King sized BOM Sampler. I don’t know that I’d make more this size because I have to send those out to be longarm quilted as I’ve never done bigger than a small lap quilt on my domestic and that’s been a couple of years.
“Do you make mostly Smal projects, or Lap quilts or Bed quilts?”
I mostly make bed quilts
I make a lot of lap quilts, however with the run of babies being born in my family right now I have been making a lot of baby quilts. My goal is to make a queen size quilt for myself. Thank you for the giveaway, I hope that I become a winner.
Hi Pat! I love your posts and the Facebook group (which I spend A LOT of time on) I have made a few quilts and need to find my quilting Mojo again. Thank you for doing giveaways!
I mainly make bed quilts. I also make baby quilts. Love it all!! This is a nice giveaway! Thanks
I make mostly lap size quilts, second would be baby quilts.
I seem to go towards table runners, wall hangings, and smaller type lap quilts.
I’m just getting started with a wall hanging & I will definitely go bigger in the near future!
I think in terms of quilts to fit my bed — queen sized. And so far, most of my quilts have been either large or minis to swap.
I make lapquilts more.
I do a combination of just bigger than lap size but less than full size 😊 With A few king size thrown in for good measure.
I like to make all sizes of quilts!
I mostly make small wall hangings and baby quilts, now. Family members all have twin to queen sized quilts already.
I mostly make lap and baby quilts. thanks for the chance to win.
I tend to start more bed quilts , but I finish more small and wall hanging size quilts.
I tend to start more bed quilts , but I finish more small and wall hanging size quilts.
I like to make baby quilts, lap quilts and so far, only one bed quilt. Mostly I just love to quilt!
I have always made mostly bed quilts. This summer I seem to have totally changed to small projects. I’ve done wall hangings, throws and a twin size quilt that I call a large throw.
I enjoy making quilts of all sizes. Right now I seem to be making mostly lap or baby quilts.
I mostly make bed sized quilts, but I have a new granddaughter due in March 2018, so I will be making a lot of smaller quilts this year.
I make mostly lap quilts and wall quilts. Thanks for the giveaway.
I like making bed size quilts. I am self taught and have a really hard time sometimes when it comes to trying to make blocks the correct size
Seems like something us always off. Very frustrating. Your strip quilt looks intriguing. Would love to give it a try with your inst5.
I thought I would never like quilting but when I saw the precuts I knew “hey, I can do this” and of course this led to more. I like to sew more of the lap quilt size as it’s easier to top quilt on my regular sewing machine. I have done a few bed quilts but only for family or a special order as needed. I thank you for all your inspiration and your generosity of your free patterns. I have learned a lot from you, thank you.
I also make every size. I especially like to have small wall quilts and look forward to making a king. In the meantime I’m making baby quilts. Our family is growing. Love giveaways!
I like the challenge of a big bed quilt, however when it comes to the quilting part I always ask myself why i did a big quilt. Anyway, I just love any size but my favourite is Christmas Panels. Thanks Pat.
I like to do all of them, but lately, it seems as though i am on a small project course. It just means that I get them all done, no UFO’s!
I’ve made more lap and baby quilts to give as gifts. Currently working on two bed quilts in addition to the Grandma’s Kitchen sew-a-long. Love the qiveaway fabrics!
I’m just getting into quilting so making all sizes. Finishing up the Solstice quilt.
I love to make small project quilts and full size quilts.
I started quilting last year, I practiced by making pot holders at first. So far I have made 3 bed quilts and a holiday wall hanging. I like the larger projects I think. Am still just a beginner.
Lately I’ve been making more mini quilts than anything else. I was in the mood to get some things done quickly. Jadahlgr at Yahoo dot Com
mostly bed quilts as gifts for wedding presents. Some baby quilts a few years later.
I have been making baby quilts mostly – we have had 8 grand-babies in the last eight years!
Small projects – easier to finish!
I make mostly small projects and wall quilts. Thanks for the chance!
Mostly small projects. Wall hangings and miniatures. Thanks, Pat! Beautiful Blues!
I usually make bed sized quilts. 🙂
So far I have made mostly large bed quilts. Thank you for doing this giveaway. I love that prize, it’s a beautiful collection!
I make mostly lap quilts. At least those are the one I have waiting to be quilted.
I have done mostly baby quilts interspersed with large quilts. This year I have been able to work on quilts for children in our community and have begun several large quilts with a goal of finishing UFO’s. Having just “escaped” Houston this weekend, I am looking forward to the serenity of my quilting.
I enjoy making all sizes of quilts and small projects, like bags. I always have more than one project in progress which is why I have three machines set up. That way I can choose which project that I’m in the mood to work on!
While I keep hoping to make small wall hanging quilts, lately I find myself making bed sized quilts…and I do all of my own quilting on my domestic machine. I am seriously considering the purchase of a sit-down long arm. 🙂
I mostly make throw size quilts. They are bigger than lap size but not bed sized. Just great for curling up on the couch.
I have 6 quilts at my quilter. Now I’m concentrating on tablerunners and smaller quilts. Some pillows, etc. Actually the package quilt I have on my design wall, started last weekend, just need to sew the blocks together. The border fabric would be nice:)
I started with lap quilts but my husband felt that they were too small so I have moved on to double/queen and have done one king size….thank you for the give away, blues are what I predominantly work with….
Love the posts on your site!
I would love to win. I make a lot of queen size quilts.
