I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!
We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks
TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1' didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.
So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

Hi, me too. I do all sizes. Wall hangings up to double bed.
Love the patterns. Especially the Splendid Sampler.
I make anything and everything that moves me, or if someone needs something. I love to search the net for just the right block for the right person. Things will be badly needed in Houston for sure!
I have been making any size quilts since starting my incredible journey of quilting 1 1/2 yrs ago!! Have a huge family to catch up on and want each of them to have a “special made from the heart quilt ” made by me!!
I mostly do lap size.
These look awesome — I can’t wait to try some of them out! I really like the fact that you do mostly piecing, but with a little applique thrown in – I don’t do much applique – but am looking forward to trying it.
I have always made bedsized quilts, but for the past year I have been making small projects, pillows, tablerunners and bags….quick results are gratifying and great for gifts!
I’m still working on my three first bed quilt tops. All of which are Block of the month/week and I work o them when I can and loving it.
I start out saying a quilt will be small but for some reason it becomes a king size before I know it!
I normally say my quilts are going to be small but somehow end up being quite large as in king size! But I love it!

So far I’ve only made baby quilts and slightly larger ones for the older kids. One of these days I’ll try a full sized quilt for my bed 🙂

I have really good intentions of making lots of full quilts but some how I always get distracted about mid way through and make several wall hangings, various blocks and table runners! I have to stop what I’m doing when inspiration hits me!!!
I love to make all size projects for several reasons. Sometimes it may be a project that is so cute that i just have to make it right now. Other times I really enjoy a project that is quick, easy just for fun project. Then there are times that I put my heart in it. It may take extra time and drive me crazy but when it is done, I feel great that I really did it! I also love to make a small project for a friend surprise gift, a just because gift. That is fun too. In a few words. I love to sew! Thank you Pat for this great give away! Also thank you for sharing all the wonderful projects you love and make over all these years. You are the best!
