I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks

TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1'  didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

  1. I make a lot of lap quilts but I also like small projects. It was through a small project I found your website.

  2. I typically make toddler/children size. But have made up to a huge King size. I just love to give quilts to kids 🙂

  3. I make all sizes of quilts. I have mostly finished lap quilts that get donated but I love to piece…I guess I need to start a UFO list again.

  4. I mostly do small projects – lap and baby quilts.
Thanks for the giveaway – blues are my fav! 😀

  5. My preference is to make bed size quilts and I probably have made more quilts that are youth bed size or larger. However, recently, I made lots of small baby quilts because I was the charity chairperson for my quilt guild with Nurses for Newborns as our major charity recipient. They are quick and easy, and a great way to test a new block design or technique. Personally, though, I don’t really like to make small baby quilts as gifts for family and friends because they get outgrown too quickly.

  6. I still consider myself a newbie quilter. I have made more lap size quilts than any other. I would love to be the recipient of the giveaway.

  7. I still consider myself a “newbie” quilter, but I have made more lap size quilts than anything else. Would love to be the winner of the giveaway!

  8. Usually make bed quilts, but this summer I’ve been making smaller ones so I feel like I’m accomplishing something!
Would love to win these blue fabrics!

  9. I make mostly small and baby sized projects. They can be completed quickly, so I can go on to a new project or technique sooner!

  10. I make mostly bed quilts, in the past few years. Trying to get some for all my family members, plus my hubby loves them on our bed, and in our camper.

  11. I make a lot of cloth bags mostly for me too! Also do a lot of table runners and toppers.
I am making my sister-in-law a lap quilt and her breast cancer came back and thought she would like a cover while she has her treatments. I want to make some holiday quilts for my living room this winter!

  12. In the last year or two I have made mostly lap and bed quilts with only a few small projects here and there. Love those blue colors in the giveaway.

  13. I do small projects and lap quilts. I’ve not yet made a quilt big enough to cover a bed the way it should.
Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  14. I love to make quilts. With 12 grand children I always have someone requesting something! I’ve made little tiny woobie blankets up to king size quilts for the older ones. All made with lots of love! 💓

  15. I make more lap and or baby quilts. I like to make table runners too….I don’t know a quilter who would deny a free gift…thank you..

  16. It seems as though I am making more bed quilts right now. A number of my grandchildren are now past the baby quilt and twin size quilts. They are actually requesting specific quilts for Xmas gifts. Warms my heart to know that they appreciate my quilts.

  17. Ive just recently started quilting so I’m still on the small stuff. Baby quilts, purses, tote bags and currently making dish drying mats.

  18. I make all different sizes of quilts – have a super queen on my quilt wall, a baby quilt ready to quilt and another one ready to piece. Lots more waiting in the wings. I just love to quilt.

  19. I am currently mostly doing Quilts of valor, which are between wall hanging size and twin size.
I love a giveaway. love these colors. I use aurifil for everything. it even runs very well in my fussy long arm!

  20. I probably make about an equal amount of lap/throw and bed sized quilts. There are a ton in the progress but I don’t know which will win!

  21. I have made quilts if all sizes. Now I would like to make smaller, more managaeable lap quilts to donate to charity.

  22. I have made all sizes, but I tend to actually finish the smaller projects. I made and gifted four baby/small quilts earlier this year. I’m working on quilting a queen size top that I finished a year ago and also piecing another queen size top that was a mystery quilt with my guild this year.
