I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks

TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1'  didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

  3. I make either king sized( as all my grown kids are in king sized beds) or queens ( double/queen) and baby quilts. I have made enough lap sized to cover everyone!

  4. Mostly I have made bed quilts. Now, I have to say, I have only made 4 quilts, and so… But, I have 3 in the process, and all 3 are bed quilts. 2 of those are your sew alongs. ºÜº Love ya, Gal! Love your FB page and your patterns! srdmomof3@gmail.com

  16. I haven’t been doing this for too long but I started off by making my grandchildren quilts for their beds. It’s been fun and I am always excited to begin a new project!

  17. I volunteer at a blanket ministry that only makes small quilts. However, at home, I make only full-sized quilts. Thank you for the give-a-way opportunity!

  18. Oh Pat, you’re so awesome! I can’t imagine how you do all that you do!
I just typed in a reply here, but I’m fairly certain it didn’t post 🙁 our, I couldn’t find it.
The short story was that I’m a new quilter and I have quite a few lap/throw-sized quilt tops going, as well as a few twin- to queen-sized tops going. I work on all of them & most are BOM, BOW, BO?
The only projects I’ve completed were a set of placemats and a baked potato pouch as a Christmas present this past holiday.
So I’m gonna have to say that I mostly work on small projects LOL
Thank you for the giveaway, Pat!

  19. I make mostly small projects when I get a chance & I enjoy following your e-mails, your excitement about making blocks is fun to see.

  20. Since I just started making quilts about 3 years ago and mostly have done wall hangings and lap quilts. Most of them have been memory quilts and gifts that are tailored for the recipient. Bed quilts ate next.

  21. Started out making lap and baby quilts. Now I’m into making bed quilts and think I like bed quilting better. Something for the kids to pass down. (I hope) lol

  22. I have a few wall spaces that accommodate a lap quilt size – and they are all full! I’ve made a gazillion wall hangings of assorted sizes but only a few bed size quilts. Guess what? Smaller quilts get finished faster! Please, Pat, I would LOVE to win something from you and this is it!! There is a reason I am referred to as The Blue Quilt Lady. I like that pattern, and added to that, the fabric, and I’m drooling on that thread. I’m sure it has my name written all over it! Thank you.

  23. I volunteer at a blanket ministry that makes only small quilts. However, at home, I make full-sized quilts. Little throws/lap things just don’t work for me. Thank you for the give-a-way opportunity!

You inspire me to better time management to reach my goals.

  25. Pat, I love it all! But most of my work is small projects – fewer UFOs that way! We are preparing to move and I have 30 years’ worth of crafting and sewing to down-size! Thanks for all your tips!

  26. I haven’t made very many quilts-yet, still learning some techniques. But I have made more baby quilts than anything else, so far. I love your quilt alongs and enjoy you fb page very much!

  27. I make table runners mostly but have done a few quilts from baby size all the way up to king size. I sell my runners at local craft shows but have been told I don’t price them accordingly. I don’t mind though as long as I get the cost of supplies as I enjoy the process.
