I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

  12. I make all sizes but lately it’s been table runners. I do one a month to give to a special person. Previous years I did place mats, no telling what next year will bring.

  14. WOW! What an awesome giveaway!! The hubs and I LOVE blues and creams in our home. I typically make lap quilts… Mostly for a local charity that gives needy families in our area gift baskets for each child every Christmas with a quilt or handmade lovie in them.

  18. I tend to make lap quilts. They work up quickly and are easier for me to quilt on my regular sewing machine. But I’m always up for the challenge of a bed-sized quilt, too!

  21. I usually make full size quilts. I primarily will mix in squares that were handed down by my Grandma and Mom along with my own work to make multi-generation quilts.
