I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks

TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1'  didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

  1. I make many smaller projects to give as gifts and one large bed size a year. I work and volunteer so my time is limited and small items are more manageable.

  2. Tough question, Pat!! I enjoy making lap size quilts, and wall hangings. I have made the Be My Neighbor, and it will be big enough to put on one of our beds!

  3. I usually make smaller quilts or lap quilts. I do have some BIG tops hanging around that I hope to get to at some point. 🙂 Love your stuff!

  4. I have made large quilts, lap quilts, & baby quilts & others in between. I love the blues, I love your patterns, & I love that you are giving us another giveaway. You are so good to us. Thank you!

  5. I’m just getting into quilting. I’ve done a placemat , jelly roll race, now working on a log cabin all are about a twin size maybe. I just enjoy the patterns & I LOVE blue! 😄

  6. I make all sizes of quilting projects. I love to make throws to change out for the different seasons. I love them on the back of the couch. I would love, love, love to get my hands on your give away…

  7. I love giveaways!! I make mostly baby quilts, rag quilts, and small projects. i’m still a newbie to sewing, but plan to work on this new hobby more when i retire in 7 months – YAY!!!

  8. I am currently making a King size quilt, and I have a medium lap quilt I am hand quilting.
I wish I had more time in the day to do more!!!

  9. I mostly make baby and lap quilts because I only have a small domestic machine. Would love to upgrade soon to machine with larger throat to accommodate larger projects.

  10. Loving the Grandma’s Kitchen challenge. I recently retired and love all the different challenges on Pat’s Facebook page. Keeps me happy!

  11. I make a lot of baby quilts for The Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation. I like to do a mixture of wall hangings and quilts to snuggle under while watching TV or napping on the couch. I’m really enjoying your Grandmothers Garden sew along. Sorry I didn’t join in for the solstice- I love the way it turned out.

  12. I usually make lap or throw quilts. Just made 13 Christmas throws for my family. They all get one whether they want one or not! LoL

  13. I make large quilts mostly but amid slowly changing to small jquilts so I can at least say I am finishing something. I would love love, love to win this give away.

  14. I usually make oversized lap. Bigger than a normal lap but smaller than a bed quilt. I have tall guys in my family!

  15. I seem to get on rolls with quilting. One year I might do all small projects; the next I’ll be into bed quilts. This year it’s bed quilts with small projects in between — doing the Splendid Sampler and Grandma’s Kitchen since discovering your site and loving every minute!🌞

  16. I did so enjoy making the Neighbor blocks, brought me way out of my comfort zone. My quilting friend, Linda Thompson in Florida do FT on Tuesdays to compare. Now she is going to teach me how to QAYG on the Neighbor quilt. looking forward to it and will post pics. Thank you for the inspiration, all of you ladies out there who share.

  17. Lately I have been making miniature quilts and a block occasionally for Farmer’s Wife 1930’s. I love the blues in the tablerunner.

  18. Oh please I so want this. Those are my colors and exactly what I love to do! Would be perfect in my bedroom!!!! Love you Pat.

  19. If you give me fabric, I will follow you anywhere! I am trying to break myself of the habit of, “OH . . . I like this. I will make it bigger!” I just love the potential of snuggling up in a new, cozy quilt, and I am particularly addicted to Christmas quilts.
Thanks for the chance to participate in the give-away.

  20. I’m a great starter…not always a great finisher. I’m generally more consistent at completing small projects…currently, creating small home gifts for our recently married daughter. My husband and I made the dress and now back to quilt projects. Would love to win surprises…but then, who wouldn’t?

  21. Love free stuff! And I am enjoying all the sew alongs, Be My Neighbor, Grandmas Kitchen, and the Children’s Library. 3 projects going at once keeps me at my favorite place, at my sewing machine. Received my Splendid Sampler book the other day, but haven’t made any of the blocks yet. Really should ??? Finish one of these other projects before starting a new one.
Thank you Pat, for an awesome job of keeping all of us sewing!
    P.S. Hope I win! 😋

  22. I have only been quilting for about two years now. So far I have done bigger quilts a couple of baby quilts and a small wall hanging.
I am working on at least three others right now.

  23. I make mostly lap quilts. Or as I like to call them, “nap quilts”. They are just right for covering up to take a nap.

  24. I have very much enjoyed watching the different blocks that you have created for challenges and seeing individuals interpretation of them Thank you so much for the giving of your time and knowledge it has helped me understand better and improve my skills

  25. What a wonderful blessing finding your website. Everyday I get to see blocks of other quilters and see your wonderful designs. Thank you for doing this!
