I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks

TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1'  didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

  1. Mostly lap size, I do a lot of shop hops and quilt store projects and I love yours, I finished my last block for solstice, now to put it together, BLUE is my favorite color!!!!

  2. So far I have made big quilts. I’m planning on a baby quilt and need to do two twin size quilts for the grandkids.

  3. I make both big and small. When I get worn from a big one taking so long I whip out some small ones for quicker gratification.

  4. I am so happy to have found you! I do small to large projects! From mug rug to king size quilts! You have made the days weeks and months an adventure for me!!! What is next?

  5. I make things in lots of sizes. I have made many potholders, wallhangings, pillows, and table tunners, but also quite a few lap and bigger lap quilts. I’ve also made several bed-size quilts, but they are in the minority.
I love your house blocks. I have all those patterns printed – I just can’t seem to get started on it.

  6. I am working on my very first quilt! I have made table runners and my very first set of pot holders went to my Mother in Law for Mother’s Day this year. I learned to sew with my mom many years ago but didn’t do much sewing for many years so the past few years I have gotten back into learning how to sew again. So many beautiful projects and blankets!!!

  7. Wow … I make all kinds. I’m in a monthly doll quilt club, so I make one of those every month. But I love making quick lap quilts every once in awhile. I have made several large queen-sized bed quilts — so wow, I guess I make all kinds!

  8. I am leaning towards lap and smaller these days. There are only so many bed quiltsI can use and by doing smaller things I am able to try different techniques and keep my UFO pile under control !!
I hope I win my older daughter LOVES BLUE and she has a big birthday in October!

  9. I am currently just making small projects.. Too many patterns, techniques that I want to try to make something full size. dquilterguy48329 (at) prodigy (dot) net

  11. Love the neighborhood! So fun following you and quilting. The blue is beautiful! Would so enjoy planning g a new project!

  12. I make everything, throw some smalls in between the big quilts and stock my etsy shop w random items. Love your material and the patterns are great. You always have great ideas. Thanks,

  13. It depends…. I go through phases. Sometimes I make mostly small, wall hanging size quilts. Other times I make bed quilts. I usually only make baby quilts when I need one for a gift. If the baby’s lucky, it gets the quilt before it needs a bed sized quilt!

  14. I love give aways they get me to do things I normally wouldn’t do. And if it is not my style I can always donate it or gift it!

  15. Any size quilt, depends on who I’m gifting to. Mostly I love bed size!! What do I love more than a giveaway, blue material giveaways!!

  16. I am a beginner. I make simple baby quilts. I have done one tabble runner and am looking for more ideas on patterns for them. I signed up to do a 80 x 80 quilt wall hanger with a friend, but she backed out. I sucked it up and took the class without her.
I have another friend that is in to bags and purses. I have taken several classes with her.
I enjoy doing “In The Hoop” projects also.
I really would love to win this giveaway!
    Thanks!

  17. I love to quilt. I mostly make bed quilts but don’t have a long arm or the ability to send out my quilts so I either hand stitch them or use my little machine.

  18. I would love to win these. If I win, I would make a carpenter’s wheel lap quilt or wall hanging. Please please please pick me. Yes, I’m begging! In case, you pick me, thank you in the advance.

  19. Well, let’ see? Right now in my sewing room waiting for me are four finished quilts waiting for binding, three fabric lines of G’ma’s Kitchen waiting for Block 3. Two finished Be My Neighbor completed blocks waiting for three and four and fabrics for Lynn Wilder’s Scrappy Stars. I want to do it all! At 82 I had better get to sewing!

  20. Mostly bed quilts is what I have made! Working on a block Swap Swap right now ! Would love to win this give-a-way bundle! Thank you Pat for all you do for us!

  21. I have made all but one large quilts, but I want to start doing smaller art quilt wall hangings. I do love giveawaya even though i have never won one.

  22. I enjoy smaller projects – seasonal wall hangings, mug rugs, tablerunners – because I actually complete them!! I equally enjoy making couch throws and bed quilts. I love ’em all!!! 🙂

  23. I tend to make more runners, throw size, and twin size quilts. Seems there are too many patterns I “need” to try/make to do anything larger. Lol

  24. I am just getting into quilting and have done mostly small things like table runners. However I did the solstice quilt and learned so much! Thank you Pat and other quilters!

  25. What a great box of goodies‼️ I usually make lap size quilts. Occasionally itll be a twin if I really want to show the pattern more full. Ok I do like the small ones for holiday or seasonal decoration. Thanks for chance to win.

  26. I do mostly lap quilts and a few quilts for beds. Just depends on my creative mood and what inspires me at the moment. 😊 Sometimes I do start small and end of with a much larger quilt than was intended. My favorite thing is to make quilts for family and friends that really is inspired by what they love or their favorite things in their lives. I recently just completed a fish and cameo quilt for my five year old grandson who eat sleeps and breathes fishing and the outdoors.

  27. I have done 2 bed quilts for far and currently starting another. I am fairly new to quilting but enjoy every part of it.

  28. I make mostly small projects! I don’t have a very large area to work!! But I sure love cutting and sewing and gifting!!

  29. For years, I made only small quilts – those that could be hung on the wall. Since joining your Quilt Along, it’s giving me the confidence to go BIG and now I have bed quilts in various stages all around my work space and I’m having so much fun. Love your Neighbor block. I’ll be stitching mine up today. Thank you!

  30. I make mostly bed quilts, but have recently made 3 lap quilts; my husband loves a lap quilt for his nap! I can’t wait to finish up the Solstice, I’m loving the way it’s shaping up.

  31. I love giveaways. I want to make small quilts, but they keep ending up big. I also love the blue fabrics in the giveaway. Please pick me!

  32. I make mostly lap to queen size quilts. I want to make a king for my bed one of these days.
