My favorite thing to do in the summer is my gardens. Watching it grow, picking the fruits of my labor and persevering it, knowing that I grew it all from seeds!
To win a Quilt made by your hands I would be over the moon!
My favorite summer activitys are swimming in the pool and gardening. When it gets to hot quilting in the air conditioning is the most fun!
My favorite summer activity is boating and fishing at the lake of the Ozarks.
I love gardening, going hiking, riding my horses. I do love the beach, but I don’t live near one. We have lakes and rivers. I love being outside. That’s a lovely quilt Pat.
And I love to gardenâŠwhen my back cooperates. Then I need to sit and watch all the birds in my backyard. Iâd treasure a quilt from Pat!!
This would be a hoot to makeđ€
My favorite summer activity is taking our pop-up camper out camping. We like going to federal campgrounds, which are parks and mostly on lakes, and just enjoying spending time outdoors.
Your quilt is beautiful, Pat! My favorite summer activity is going to the beach for a picnic dinner as often as possible. During the day it’s sewing in the AC.
Fishing, swimming and boat rides are favorite activities, for our family and many others who live in MN. A summer quilt would be great to have at the cabin.
My husband and I love to go camping. We travel with our 2 dogs and travel trailer. Staying at State Parks are our favorite places to camp and explore.
Go to the ocean
Since my friend moved away, we have had to meet at the beach. In the summer. This quilt would be a good reminder of those special memories.
I am a lot like you about quilting. I made my first quilt about 65 years ago and I have made a lot of quilts since but have never kept one for myself! I love this quilt. It is so summery and bright. Summer is my favorite season because of the warm and hot days. I grew up in Bolder City, Nevada near Las Vegas and still haven’t gotten used to cold weather.
I like to walk outdoors during the summer. Quilting is my favorite activity all year round!!
Would love to win , I love quilts and throws.
The beach quilt is amazing. Great representation of the beach!
I love the beach but I would be beyond thrilled to win one of your quilts Pat! đ€đœ Iâm hoping I win this one. Itâs special !
Love the beach, love the quilt.
I would love to win this quilt and take it to the beach, it would be so perfect! I also enjoy the process of making of things, and giving them away to someone who will enjoy it.
My favorite summer activity is bicycling in the pleasant weather, eating BBQ and being with family and friends.
Because the South is known for its summer heat, sippin sweet tea is ALWSYS a fan favorite!! That AND time spent laying in a lounge chair in the pool! Oh and esting Bacon Lettuce and Tomato sandwiches!! The good life!!
Spending time with my grandson and enjoying life.
This quilt just makes me think of Summer. I love to sit out on my deck with a beverage, look at my garden, watch the lightning bugs and bats, and listen to the night critters! I love that you called it a “quilter’s quilt!”
My favorite summer activity is going to the family home on the Patuxent River in Southern Maryland. My grandchildren are the 6th generation of our family to enjoy this special place for the last 100 years, nestled between a farm that has been in existence since deeded to the farmer’s family by Lord Calvert of England when Maryland was a colony. The quilt reminds me of everything we do together down at the river house. I love the quilt and love that it’s made of applique.
The best summers are spent in Wisconsin attending all the sporting activities of my grandkids – baseball, volleyball, archery, cross country, scoccer and just being active. They grow up so fast so I don’t like to miss a minute of their fun.
My favorite summertime activity is gardening….vegetable gardening, flower gardening, weeding…..you name it, I love it. I also like to lay in a hammock, soak up the sun, and watch the clouds roll by.
When my husband and I were first married with 5 kids (3 mine, 2 his, all raised together from then on), we’d take the family to the beach in San Diego where we lived every payday evening, cook hotdogs and marshmallows and enjoy the surf, collecting shells, etc. What great memories! Now, living in retirement in So. Oregon, I enjoy driving along the coast and taking in the views of the surf and rock formations, recalling those wonderful beach days of long ago. Please enter me, Pat. I’d love to win your beautiful hand crafted quilt. I’ve been a fan for many years and have made several of your quilt along projects/quilts. Best wishes to you, and to me! LOL
My new love is quieting but I still like the beach in short intervals!
My husband and I love to go fishing and my mom and love to go fabric shopping. Those are my favorite activities. Thanks Pat for all you do and for always being so generous!
That quilt is awesome! Was there a quilt along I missed? Thanks for the chance to own it Ms. Sloan.
We are water people. We love the pool, the lake and the ocean. Most of our vacations are trying to get to the ocean. And now we are instilling that love in our grandchildren. The quilt is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for all your sharing.
My favorite summer activity is hiking the dogs in the am when itâs more quiet and the air is still a little cool. Itâs good exercise for the dogs and me
Beautiful quilt with all the hand applique!!
Beautiful quilt
I enjoy walking along the beach area where I live. There are big rocks, squirrels live there, they come out to see if you have nuts for them.
Thank you
My favorite summer activity is laying in the sun! Be it on the beach listening to the waves crashing on the shore or in the yard soaking up the sun’s rays loading up on Vitamin D! Your quilt is so fun! I would cherish it forever!
I love to go to yard sales and flea markets in the summer. Also just sitting on my plans swinging on my swing.
What a great quilt! Remember watching with this was a work In progress. Love it

I love watching your videos from YouTube. I am very glad to know I am one of many, that appreciate you and your love of making QUILTS! Julie in Adelaide South Australia.
What a great quilt! No warm beach here in Illinois right now.
Having lived in Texas, Califoria, and Florida most of the first half of my life, the beach is a very calming peaceful place for me. I don’t live near an ocean now and I do miss it. Your summer quilt brings back fond memories of times spent at the beach. Your work is exceptional!
Thank you Pat for all you and Gregg do! I really enjoy your video’s and quilts. My grandkids (ages 5-12) watch them with me!
Our favorite thing to do in the summer is camping. If we don’t go to a campground, I will take the grands to the back yard and tent camp with them. They all have their own flashlight and will put on a light show for Nanna.
It would be awesome to win one of your quilts. I’m in Alabama and only 5 hours from the beach! Thank you in advance if I win!!!
I love tending my flower garden and sewing in my sunroom.
My favorite summer activity is the same as Winter, Spring or Fall, I love being in my sewing room sewing quilts and clothing. Im not an outdoor person but your quilt makes me think maybe the beach would be a fun place to checkout! Thanks for all you do and Happy 10th Anniversary!!
