  1. My favorite flower is the rose. My Father always had a beautiful rose garden and would cut roses every morning and give them to my Mother. Seeing roses always reminds me of growing up in home filled with love and flowers.

  2. Fabulous quilt. I am a gardener. Tons of perennials, no grass in front yard or back. Clean up in spring and fall and that is it. The bees and butterflies and birds have a great time. I love purple cone flowers, lilies and iris and peonies ♥️. As you commented the other day , it is getting more difficult as we age to work in the garden but good exercise.

  3. My favorite flower is the hydrangea, deep blue! We have a bush in our front yard and always makes me smile when it blooms. Love the black eyed Susan pattern. Looks like a fun quilt to make. Thank you for all you do!

  4. I love peonies! We had them growing up on my grandparent’s farm. They make beautiful cut arrangements.

  5. The carnation is my favorite vase flower because it last so long in the flower arrangements and smells so good! As far as a garden flower…..all of them are my favs! Flowers make me happy and remind me of my late sister and her gardens. Thank you for your videos!

  6. My favorite flower is the pansy. My favorite color is purple, and the pansy has a gorgeous purple color on many of the varieties. Another nice thing is that if the winter isn’t too bad, they might come back up a second year!! 🙂 Bonus!! 🙂 Thanks so much for the chance to win, Pat! Love watching your videos!

  7. I actually have a few, for spring I like the lilac, they smell so amazing in the spring and i have in my front flower beds, the black eyed Susan that bloom and bring a fresh look to the garden later in the season. This quilt kit is so cute.

  8. My favorite flower is actually the crimson clover when it blooms. That is happening right now in my area. One of my neighbors has a field full of them right now and they are beautiful! I do love black eyed Susan’s in the summer. Would love to win that kit! Thanks Pat and Fat Quarter Shop for doing this wonderful giveaway!

  9. Hi Pat
My favorite flower is the hydrangea, especially the blue and lavender tones! They are just so beautiful and remind me of an old fashioned garden. I have one in my garden but it’s only bloomed once, so it’s my goal to get it blooming again. I have some blackened Susan’s too and they are really pretty and shout summer to me! Thanks for the opportunity to win the quilt kit!Love watching your channel especially color placement tips, it helps me try new ideas!

  14. My favorite flower are roses so many colors and the heavenly aroma. Worth the occasional OUCH of the thorns…just like life 🙂

  15. I love Lily of the Valley. It’s my birth month flower, and they grew in a flower bed in my childhood home. They are just precious.

  16. I love flowers but my favorite is Roses. In high school my future hubby would often bring me a dozen roses for no special reason at all. He was so romantic. Of course for our wedding my bouquet was a dozen white roses. He still brings me roses. My son buys me a new rose bush every year for Mother’s Day. My daughter buys me a new miniature rose bush each year. I am blessed.

  22. My favorite flower is the Asiatic Lily, I plant a new plant each year and get so excited when they come back and I get to see that beautiful bloom. I planted a beautiful orange one this year.

  24. I live in Texas, and the bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes you see along the roadside are always beautiful in spring

  25. My favourite flower are tulips. My family heritage are from Netherlands and I always love spring when the tulip bulbs flower. Especially the frilly ones. I have fond memories as a child visiting the Tulip Festival here in Victoria, Australia and sitting amongst the rows and rows of blooms.

  26. My Camilla is in bud with the cooler weather approaching in Australia. I’ve had this plant for over 30 years and I fall in love with it every year

  27. My favorite flower is the bearded iris. They look enchanting, smell so good, and my paternal grandmother had lovely iris and peonies in her garden every spring. We lived next door for the first 14 years of my life through an apple orchard separated by a wonderful lilac hedge. I learned to sew on her 1913 Singer treadle, and I still use it sometimes.

  28. My favorite flower would be the lilac. It’s what we had plenty of in our yard when I was young and we always took some when visiting my paternal grandmother. Wonderful memories.

  29. My favorite flower is a rose. My parents and grandparents grew roses.
I would love to win the black eyed Susan kit from FQS.

  30. My favorite flower is a toss up between Lilacs and Petunias. A neighbor growing up had a Lilac bush/tree and I just loved it and my mom would plant Petunias and pansies every summer and I remember the Petunias were always so many different colors and were “striped” or more than one color. They were just lovely.

  31. My all-time favorite flower is a magnolia because well, I watched way too much Bugs Bunny as a child! 😆 I always cracked up at the Southern Gentleman and the way he pronounced “Magnolia” and “Belvedere,” (even though I have a bit of southern drawl myself). I prefer the Southern Magnolia over the Tulip Magnolia, but both are favorites. I also love Forsythia because it always heralds Spring for me.

  32. Hi Pat, My favorite flower is a bluebonnet! Yes I live in Texas and every spring can’t wait to see the sides of the highways and fields just full of them. I even have a bluebonnet block pattern! Yes one day I will make a quilt with just the bluebonnet.
