I pretty much like all yellow flowers — daffodils and sunflowers are my favorites — they’re just so happy! I bought the Black Eyed Susan pattern already — just thought it was so stinking cute! What a joy it would be to have the whole kit!
I would love to make the kit with the Black Eyed Susan’s. They have been my favourite flower for almost 45 years. My hubby Steve always picks a bouquet from the roadside on his way home from the our other farm for our wedding anniversary. The black eye susan’s have often arrived in water in a calf pail or calf milk bottle. Wild flowers picked with love will always melt my heart. I got a good one when I married him 45 years ago in July.
I love the burst of sunshine/ sunset colors of the Indian Paintbrush. This is a beautiful and hardy flower and I love the connection it has to the Native Americans. The resilience of both rhis flower and the Native Americans gives me hope for each new year. I’m a Leo born in year if the Tiger so these sun colors really speak to me! This quilt kit would be awesome to win as my dad used to call me his little black-eyed Susan due to my super dark brown eyes! Love all your videos, Pat. You are very inspiring!
My favorite flower is lilacs and lilies, I love picking them out of my flower beds.
My favorite flower is a pink rose.
This black eyed Susan pattern is so adorable. Would love to make it. And winning the kit would make that possible. I love the wild flowers the best. I think it is because they just happen and are there to make us happy. Thanks Pat and FQS for the giveaway!
My favorite flower is Lilly of the Valley. I love the delicate bell flowers and the scent is my favorite part!! I used to wear Muguet de Bois by Coty and the scent was exactly like the flower! Alas, it isn’t made anymore. Also about the gardening…if you do too much, everything hurts and then you have to think “What did I do to make it hurt there!!”. Last year I just did less flowers. It wasn’t as pretty but it sure was easier!
I love all kinds of flowers. My favorite David Austin Roses. No other Rose has the wonderful scent.
My favorite flower is the Bachelor Button. My mother always grew them all around the house. I was planting and transplanting some today. They go to seed and pop up outside the flower beds, so I move them to where they won’t get mowed.
I also discovered that, like you, I can only work in the garden an hour a day. Last year I could work for two or three! I guess getting old is better than the alternative. Things just take longer now.
Lilacs. I love the smell. They are also a sign that spring is finally here. I would love to win the quilt so I can get excited about quilting again
My favorite flower is an iris. Love all of the color combinations and the intricacies of the flower.
My favorite flower is the snap dragon for their unique shape and beautiful colors.
My favorite flower is the lily. Combination of looks and smell make it my favorite!
Black Eyed Susan’s have always been a favorite since my name is Susan. When they are in season, my grandkids bring me bouquets.
Hmmm favorite flower? So many, but I must admit, I do love clematis flowers. My dad had them growing on trellises in our tiny yard in Chicago when I was growing up.
I have a few favorites at the top of my list, i guess my most favorite has to be the poppy since I have two large framed photos of poppies hanging in the living room and I did a needlepoint pillow of poppies years ago. I just love its burst of red and the accent of black in its center.
I have always loved carnations because the fragrance is wonderful and the petals look as though they were cut with pinking shears!
Love this black eyed Susan pattern.
I’ve never made one of their patterns and I would love for the first one to be this pattern
I love tulips. I wish they bloomed all summer.
My favorite flower is the red rose because it is what my late husband always gave me but I also love the orange rose and yellow rose because they remind me of faith hope and love. I absolutely love this kit and hope I win it to make
I love flowers! In the Spring, there’s nothing like the fresh scent of Lilacs in the air. Thank you for this opportunity to win an absolutely beautiful flower quilt kit from Fat Quarter Shop, Pat!
I love Peony flowers, it reminds me of my Grandmas ,she had the most beautiful bushes and sitting on her porch you would smell them when the wind blew. Of course the ants loved them too, so when you picked those big beautiful flowers you had to be careful.
Pretty quilt. And Fig Tree fabrics are always fun to sew with. My favorite flower is pansies and petunias becausey Grandpa always had them in his yard. Thank you Pat and FQS.
Flowers, how do you pick just one? Going to the garden nursery is like walking into a candy store, you want to try everything!
My favourite flower is the pansy – such a sweet face and beautiful colours
I love African violets and orchids. I have many of each!
I love purple coneflowers and black eyed Susan’s. If I don’t win this kit, I may have to order it!
Hi Pat,
I love pansies and daffodils. They are pretty, easy to manage, and come in so many colors. I love this time of year when everything is new and bright!
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to win this beautiful quilt kit!
Paulette
My favorite flower is the yellow rose. I think they are beautiful. I always ask for a dozen on my birthday along with a vanilla cake with yellow roses on top.
My Favorite Flower is the Morning Glory. It is neat how they climb and open up when it is daylight and then close up when it starts getting dark out. I love the Black Eyed Susan pattern, reminds me of a house that I pass going into town, they have a large patch of Black Eyed Susans at the end of their driveway. It is really neat to see.
My favorite flower is a Gerbera Daisy. They are bright and bold and add a lot of color to my flower beds.
My hydrangea bush is my favorite. It brightens the yard and the house with its beautiful blossoms!
My favorite flower by far is the hydrangea. Black-eyed Susan’s, Shasta daisies and echinacea are close seconds. Let’s just say there isn’t a flower I can think of that I don’t enjoy.
I loved the peonies we had in our garden before we moved. They were a beautiful pink.
I love sunflowers. I enjoy watching the Tour de France as they ride by fields galore of Sunflowers. The Black eyed susans are close to sunflowers as a pattern so would love to win.
Hi Pat,
My favorite flower is the yellow rose. That was my mom’s favorite flower too. Her name was Rosemary, I miss her so much. I lost her to breast cancer in 1995. I named my daughter after her Jessica Rose.
I always loved Queen Ann’s Lace as a kid. It really did look like lace and was so delicate and unusual!
The scent of lilacs is one of my favorites, and the purple is so pretty. I also like marigolds because the deer won’t eat them, and they are so easy to grow from their seeds I save each year.
My favorite flower is pansy. I just love the sweet little faces.
My favorite flower is the peony. I have had these in my yard for years. I love the pinks and reds. I remember them on my great grammas farm.
I love the black eyed Susan quilt and would love to win one
Pink roses. It is the flowers that I had in my wedding bouquet.
The Yellow Lady Slippers are my favorite flowers to search for. Many hikes in the Smoky Mountains to find these treasures.
My favorite is hollyhocks because I played with them as a little girl. You can make pretty dresses with the blossoms!
What a great giveaway! So generous of FQS! My favorite flowers are the little purple violets that would carpet the grass in my parents front yard. A true sign of spring and they smelled so heavenly!
Peonies are my favorite flower. A pretty vase full of blooms is the best thing about spring!
Beautiful quilt! My favorite flower is the dahlia! It’s such a happy flower with amazing colors!
My favorite flower is a lilac, great childhood memories come back to me when I catch the scent…
My favorite flower are peonies. The plants are usually filled with blooms, great variety of colors, the petals look so delicate and perfect, and the bees love them! Great way to welcome spring.
