  1. My favorite flower is the Daisy. There was a field close to my Grandparent’s house that was full of Daisies and Black-Eyed Susan. It was just beautiful! I have such fond memories of picking flowers for my grandmother from that field when I was a child.

  2. I love all flowers, it is hard to pick however today I pick, Lily of the Valley since it is the flower for the month I am born.

  3. I love all flowers, but if I had to chose my favorite are lilies, I love the scent of them. Thanks Fatquarter shop for this giveaway. Good luck everyone.

  4. I love daffodils. They are bright and yellow ( my favorite color) They are one of the first signs of spring in my area of the country. They also remind me of my mom, she had a patch of them of them and they are still coming back every year. A little hello from mom each spring.

  5. My mother was a florist and I grew up in a flowershop so I love ALL the flowers.(except carnations.) But my absolute favorite has to be a Gardenia. The beautiful waxy flower and that sweet smell takes me back to my childhood for sure!

  6. If someone was to give me a bouquet of cut flowers, my favorite flower is the carnation. But I love so many flowers out in gardens. In my gardens I have clematis, Easter Lilly’s, Joseph’s coat amaryllis, lots of coneflowers, many day lillies, and more. And in Texas there is nothing like fields of our Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush in the spring.

  7. Sun flower is one of my favorite flowers. I used wun flowers for my son’s casket when he passed away because he loved the sun so it makes me think of him.

  8. My favorite flowers are the Dahlias, they are so full of color, specially the ones with multiple colors, and some varieties can be so big as well.

  9. My favorite flowers are tulips! They come in such pretty colors and are a special treat as the blooms don’t last very long!!

  10. Wow, choosing just one is more difficult than I thought, because I love all types of flowers. Since I need to pick one I’ll say the Bluebonnet. We love driving around looking for these variegated purple flowers around Texas. It’s like a scavenger hunt. Throw in some Indian Paint Brushes and you have a beautiful field of color.

  11. I love Tulips! My mom always had them in a section by the house. Love the multi colored ones although any color is lovely. I think they remind me of spring is here as a April birthday it also means my BD is right around the corner. LOL

  12. Good morning! I tried to enter yesterday, but ran into a *glitch*, so thank you for another chance!
I love almost every flower, so it’s a little difficult to narrow it down to one. That said, I have to say carnation is my “most” favorite. I love the ragged-looking petals and the spicy scent. Mmmmmm! Also, it’s my mother’s birthmonth flower.

  13. My favorite flower is the daisy; it just makes me happy! But really there isn’t a flower I don’t like.

  14. My favorite flower is the peony as it is beautiful and smells heavenly. They are here for such a short time each spring.

  15. Daisies are my favorite flower. My wedding cake had sugar ones along with real ones and several were mixed into my bouquet. The black eyed Susan quilt is lovely.

  16. My favorite flower is any color Hydrangeas. Early in the morning when they still have dew on them, I would run the back of my finger tips like you would piano keys, its the best feeling ever. 🙂

  17. Favorite flower in the Tulip. It is my Dutch heritage. Growing up there was a sea of tulips in the yard, that my Dad planted.

  18. My favorite flower is the Rose. A fragrant variety is best. Watching the blooms emerge from a tight bud is magical. Reminds me of a butterfly. Even though the thorns are painful, they are a reminder that life- even with thorns, is beautiful. I’m hopeful to win the Rudbeckia version and put it together this summer. 🙂

  19. How do I choose? It would be easier to say which flower I don’t like. I like pansies. Cute faces, great colour combinations.

  20. My favorite flower is lilacs. Where I grew up they were everywhere. I love the scent of them. My favorite lilac color is the deep purple, but I truly love them all. Just the scent of them brings me back to my childhood summers.

  21. Love love love roses. My husband gave me rose
bushes on Mother’s Day instead of cut flowers. Now I get lots of roses all year long even though he has passed. It’s like flowers from him still.

  22. I planted rudabeckia in mt flower bed several years ago. It is one of my favorite flowers. Thank you for this offer!

  23. One of my favorite flowers is the cone flower. I love it because the deer don’t eat it and it self seeds.

  24. My favorite flower, one of them LOL, is daisy. I love the simplicity ….in my minds eye I can visualize a child bringing a bunch to their mom with a weed or two mixed in, a huge smile and so much love, so eager to please.

  25. One of my favorite flowers is the Hyacinth. My grandmother had them planted around her house. They were one of the first flowers of spring to push up through the cool earth. The Hyacinths were so intricately beautiful and smelled heavenly. 🥰

  26. My favorite flower is a rose. All colors, all sizes, all varieties! My MIL loved them and had them on the farm. I love the climbing roses she had that went all along her yard fence. Beautiful!

  27. Asking me to pick a favorite flower is like asking me to pick a favorite child or grandchild! 🙂 At the moment, though, my favorite flower in my yard is the knock out roses. They are in full bloom (here in central NC) and are absolutely gorgeous.

  28. Well of course I love Black Eye Susan flowers – Susan is my name!! Also Carnations with all the different colours and they last so long in a vase indoors. The quilt would be awesome.
Thanks Pat. Watch you every day.

  29. My favorite flower is the rose. My mom grew the most beautiful flowers and her roses were always spectacular. I have a small rose garden in her memory

  30. My favorite flower is the peony (also call it penny). My great aunt had about a half acre of peonies in the 50’s that she sold for Memorial Day…so we would help her pick them just in time to sell a dozen blooms for $1. She made her living selling peonies. Love the smell and the memories! Of course there is not a flower that I don’t love!

  31. I’ve always said my favorite flower is the Daisy. Such a sweet happy flower! And yellow centers! Oh my! But, lately I lean towards the scent a flower puts off. I am drawn to lilacs and hyacinth. But the Irisis that are blooming currently all over here in west central Missouri are stunning with all their many beautiful colors displayed!

  32. My favorite flowers are Lavender. They are a beautiful plant, have great variety of colors. From white to deep purple. They can be dried and used for medicinal purposes or for foods. They come back year after year. I live in Washington where in August there’s a Lavender festival. It’s in a beautiful small town, lots of fields of lavender that can be walked through and items that can be purchased all featuring lavender in some way.
Thanks for all your videos, patterns and chat!

  33. Oh, I love that quilt. I have loved black eyed Susans for many years. They grow wild along the back roads of Wyoming. I have loved any of the flowers that have a seed center with radiating petals like daisies, Black Eyed Susans, and Sunflowers all my life. They just look full of joy to me!

  34. My favorite flower is the camellia. I worked as an RN in hospice and one of my patient’s husband gave me a small plant in honor of his wife. It is now about 10 foot high and I think of her every time it blooms.

  35. My favorite flower is red carnations. I love the way they look. Give me carnations instead of roses.

  36. Hard to pick just one flower. I enjoy zinnias because they remind me of my grandmother. Dalias are similar and they are a reminder of my other grandma who grew them to use in arrangements she made for flower arrangements.

  37. A daffodil is my favorite flower. My grandmother had a garden full of daffodils and when I saw them, I knew spring was just around the corner!
