Block Wednesday!

My theme this week is picking flowers, which might be the BEST part of being a gardener right? Go out to your own flower beds and pick a vase full of blooms! Divine! I have an old splatterware jug that belonged to Gregg's grandmother. I fill it each spring.
We also have the next set of small blocks, so fun! This is a PERFECT time to use up smaller pieces to make a scrappy block. Keep reading to see my tips and the section together, then the Download for my pattern this week is in PINK

TIPS FOR DIE CUTTING
- Always move your dies around so that you don't keep cutting on the same section.
- I've found that when I angle the die on the shim it does a few things. First it more evenly distributes the die across the roller that is pressing to cut the fabric. Which means it won't be as loud.
- It also creates more even pressing areas on the shims so that you don't have a hard line. That keeps the shims from bending as much.
- I live with an engineer, he had to play with this to figure it out. it's what they do.. they can't help themselves. Do you know an engineer? Then you know what I mean!

I need some quilts for spring.
Summer
I need more spring things, for some reason I’m lacking in wall hangings for the spring months.
Springtime! I’m recovering from the holidays.
I’m looking at the tulip wall hanging/throw as I want to make a flower throw for my friend in memory of her Mom. Then I need a winter wall hanging as I keep Christmas up way too long.
I need Summer quilts. I have a large Spring quilt that stays up most of the year!
I need more fall runners.
I need Spring and Summer table toppers/runners! I can always use more seasonal walhangings! Never have enough!
oh, Fall is so invigorating. The colors are so inspirational. With Christmas right around the corner I am quilting and finishing up the gifts for the holidays.
I don’t have anything Halloween, and just had some fabric giving to me for just that! So that will be on the list this fall.
I could use a new Spring project.
I love all of your beautiful quilts in your new book! My first project is going to be the tulip quilt. Congratulations!
Each season has it’s own charm, appeal but I can never get enough of fall colors
Need a quilt for winter. Just finished my first quilt and it looks like summer. I did a beginning quilt class and so proud of completing it and would like to “try” another one but have it look like a winter quilt.
I like doing winter, makes me feel warm and cozy on those snowy days

Definitely fall quilts, with their gorgeous colors, would be my choice for new seasonal quilts!😻
Each year I plan a Christmas quilt or hanging – and never get it done. This year I’d love to be “ahead of the game” – although spring and summer might be nice too!
Fall
I think I love the bold colors of fall & the pure bright colors of spring. So I would love to have patterns/ideas for those seasons. And March 13th is my 61st birthday! Yay for me, made it another year.
I really need too update my decorations for all seasons but especially for summer. I don’t have much for that season at all
Spring, I diff. need something to tell me it is Spring. I am so tired of winter in the Northwest.
I don’t have enough fall/winter quilts, especially for Christmas. I plan to remedy that this year. Thanks for all your free patterns and guidance, Pat.
I need a spring quilt. It seems that I have all the other seasons but no spring.
