  1. I 1st fell in love with art made by women who were doing mundane jobs out of necessity Such as mending as in sashiko End boro. The creativity of people around the world taking fabric they kept from clothing piecing bits and pieces together with thread and beautiful hand stitching is inspiring. Kantua is one of these art forms I hadn’t heard about before you shared the book. Thank you.

  2. Hello, i watch your videos. I have begun to go back and watch old videos on your days off 🙂
    I don’t do Facebook.
I would like a newsy paragraph. I stopped reading your emails because they were mostly a link to your website.
I go to your website to get more info after watching your videos.
For example, i saw your “Little wishes” quilt on an old video and went to get the pattern.
I saw a quilt on your set ( birthday cake quilt from the Fat Quarter Shop layer cake book) and went to your website archives to find the details.
That quilt is on my wish list..
I appreciate (as does Kimberly J) that your patterns have the measurements on the blocks so i don’t have to read.
In Kimberly’s latest video she mentioned how prolific you are. I agree. I watched you all thru the pandemic
    and was inspired.  Thank you

  3. Kantha is fascinating and I’d love to win the book. I love slow stitching and need to try Kantha. Would like to learn more about the history of this special stitching.
The Make a Wish and Pear Quilts are both gorgeous. I will definitely bid on Pat’s Make a Wish quilt!
    Happy Stitching from Maryland!

  4. I have not added patchwork to any clothing. In the past I would adhere fabric shapes and use puffy paint around them. Wow that was a while ago. The jacket on today’s video was gorgeous. May have to make one someday. The Kantha book looks amazing!

  5. YES! I’ve been following you since I started quilting in 2001. I do watch your YouTube everyday…or until you cut back to just Tue-Fri…It was always my first thing to watch as some mornings I was up early enough to catch it live…The chat goes pretty fast so now I like that I can go back and read the live chat! I’ve made a few of your block a day QAL’s and I love them because my birthday is in March so it gets called my Birthday quilt! I do belong to the Facebook group, have even shared Quilty things several times! And have even sent you a package or two! I mostly love that you don’t get political like a few others have done which completely turns me off….Love all things Quilty and now cross stitch…thanks to you, Kimberly, Lori Holt and others! So thankful to you and Gregg for sharing the things you do! Hugs from Little Rock Arkansas!

  7. I read the emails. I’m not a youtube fan – only watch if I can’t figure it out from the pattern or email. Don’t follow FB.

  8. I am getting into habit of reading your emails. The new vendor was the prod I needed to add email.
However, I am a devoted follower of your you tube channel. Morning coffee time in retirement!
    I follow on Facebook.
I do check into the website at least once a week, but otherwise on an as needed basis.
I have done two Sew-a-longs since retiring and starting to follow you. What I really gleaned from following you is assigning items/themes to each day of the week, rather than focusing solely on one project at a time. More like my project management at work pre-retirement. This has been a game changer for me. If I am not doing an exact sew-a-long with you, I try to align a project with same theme. For example, I have a Christmas tree skirt I want to complete for this year, so rather than doing your Christmas project I work on my tree skirt on your Christmas All Year timeline.
Thank you for being such an inspiration! Wish I had found you long long ago! (And I love that we are both former St.Louisans!)

  9. I read your entire email and watch your videos. I’m following your sew alongs but trying to catch up on previous sew alongs. I’m still printing the free sew alongs and ordering the books I’m interested to do in the future. I follow you on Facebook too. I have been following you for several years now. Thank you for all you do and have taught me.

  10. I read your Newsletter through your new platform.
Currently I’m doing the Piece and Quilt SAL, even though I have not posted pics in your Facebook group. I’m a member. I plan to do the Ode to National Parks SAL and have the pattern and background for the Snowman for January.
    Thanks for all you do,
