🧵I have a Book for one of YOU! And Make A Wish wrap up!

I have a HUGE thank you to everyone that sent me a note to tell me if you read these emails, watch my videos, and are in my quilting community. 💕 I really enjoyed hearing from you!  I FORGOT that we can't reply to the notice anymore as it's a new company and it works differently. To contact me you need to put in my email pat@patsloan.org

It is such an honor to make chairity quilts each year, and the Make a Wish project is so cool as it 'takes a village' to raise the funds that we all do. My quilt is made with help from my friend Bobbie who works with me on piecing it and my friend Karin who quilted it for Chairty. Both of them deserve a huge shout out 🎉for helping support Make a Wish!

The weather here is turning cooler, which is a bit unusual for northern Virginia.  I suspect we'll get 'another summer' sometime in September with a few more days of high temps. Although my plants are loving these cooler temps and I don't have to water all of them every day, bonus!

If you love to read, in my group for 'non quilting' things I talk about on Youtube, you can check out the reading post, loads of great reads!  Go to THIS POST

"Have you ever added patchwork to clothing?"

  1. Pat, I’m not sure I’m in the right place to type this in but I’ll give it a go. I gifted myself EQ8 recently and I’m still learning and would love that booklet about using EQ 8 to design panels. Thank you for all you do for quilters and sewists like me.

  2. I have had EQ Quilts software program a couple of years. I would love this book to help me to expand my knowledge on how to use the program especially when adding panels and how to effectively surround them with various quilt designs.

  3. I hope this is the correct link to enter for the EQ book. All the comments above are for the Kantha book. I own EQ and this book would be a huge helo.

  4. Love EQ. The book you shared looks amazing to create some designs with panels. I definitely have a few hanging around and this book may show me how to design a setting. Thanks Pat for all you do. Love starting my day with a cup of Joe and you. ❤️

  5. I am still learning Electric Quilt 8 but it seems like such a great program. I had not seen the new booklet that you were showing on your video this morning but looks very informative, like the other instructions books I have previously purchased from the company.

  6. EQ8 is such a versatile software with all the add-ons/modules available. Would love to get a copy of current EQ booklet to inspire even more creativity!!

  7. Pat, Thank you for all you do! You are such an inspiration. I would love to enter for the EQ book give away. I love panels and have EQ8.

  8. Love the Pears quilt. A great quilt for fall. I do not have EQ8 YET, but plan to request it for Christmas this year. Would love the companion book to work thru learning EQ. Thank you for the great inspiration you give.

  9. I have EQ and for some reason got away from using it. I would love to have the book as I have a few panels to try and figure out what to do with them. So winning the book would help me I am sure. Thanks Pat for all your giveaways and sew alongs and inspiration.

  10. I have had EQ 2 years.
I love to add patch work to clothing! and I also add it to my 3 granddaughters clothing. I love it on my jeans jackets and my jeans and so do they. I am also learning long slow stitch to add to the bottom of my jeans.

  11. Enjoying my morning coffee with you. I purchased EQ several years ago but lost the instruction book. I would love to own the EQ book. Your videos give me the courage to step outside the pattern maker’s choices of fabric. I’ve learned so much from watching you. Have a blessed day Pat.

  12. I really want to teach myself EQ… I’ve had the program installed for a couple of years, but need to invest dedicated Tim to work through the workbook & learn how to use it. This new workbook is a definite must have!!!

  13. I just finished binding my pear quilt. Love this one. I have EQ8 and would like a chance to win this booklet. Thanks.

  14. I haven’t added any patchwork to clothing before……..yet. I did purchase a denim jacket this spring for the sole purpose of adding patchwork to it, but in typical me fashion, I cannot make a decision on with fabrics I want to use. LOL I will get to it someday…. hopefully before it’s time to switch over to winterwear. 🙂

  15. Yes! I did a lot of patchwork on my clothes. I even had a pair of shorts completely covered with patches! That looks like an Awesome book! Thanks, Pat!

  16. I have never added patchwork to any garments, so far! I love hand stitching so the Kantha book was intriguing. Thanks for offering the give-away!
