My favorite sweet dessert is German Chocolate Cake and it has to be homemade, totally from scratch. I used to make a homemade German Chocolate Cake for my two friends when it was their birthdays as that was also their favorite. When it came to my birthday, my cake was from a box and the frosting was out of a can. Don’t get me wrong I was very grateful for the gesture and thoughts but totally disappointed as I can certainly tell the difference between homemade and one made from a box and canned frosting. When I was asked how much did I want to take home, I would politely decline and say why don’t you keep it and give it to your kids. Another time a coworker had her friend that owned a bakery make me a German Chocolate Cake and I was devastated as I could tell it wasn’t from scratch. The coworker just voluntarily said how the friend didn’t know to make it from scratch so the coworker bought the mix and canned frosting for her to make it. How could a baker not know how to make it from scratch?? Now my mouth is watering for a good piece of German Chocolate Cake. 🙂
My family loves cookies of all kinds but especially sugar cookies. Thank you for the recipe I will have to make these as they are a little different than my recipe.
Vanilla Panna Cotta…from Slay Restaurant here in Manhattan Beach California. Really, it’s like a drug….can’t get enough! And I have to drive 20 minutes to get there….obsessed 🤪🥴🤪

My favorite dessert is French macarons! I can’t get those very often so the rest of the time I “settle” for some chocolate or ice cream. A nice rich hot chocolate in the winter is a perfect dessert! Lately I’ve been making hot chocolate with extra creamy oat milk and Nesquick. So tasty!

Key lime pie and a cup of coffee while sitting next to the ocean. Since that doesn’t happen every day, a bowl of fresh fruit.

My favorite dessert is trifle, layered with sponge cake, jello, fresh raspberries, custard and topped off with fresh whipped cream and sprinkles. The blending of flavours is amazing and a real treat we save for special occasions.

I know this might sound strange, but I love white cheese drizzled with honey and sprinkled with ground coffee or instant espresso powder. Sounds like a crazy combination, but try it…it’s amazing!!
My favorite dessert is called Cherry-O Cheese pie. It’s basically a quick unbaked cheesecake (like Jello Cheesecake except homemade) with Cherry pie filling on top. My mom got the recipe from a 1940’s or 50’s cookbook she had.
I have to say my favorite at the moment are apple fritters! My family love to tease me about it. Now not all Apple fritters are the same. I use to live near a bakery that made the best. But now I usually get one or two at Publix. Second Best. I like them real fluffy with big chunks of Apple. Now I want one! LOL

Sugar causes me migraines, so I try to avoid it.
Put an apple crumble in front of me and I have no control.

Dark Chocolate… breakfast, lunch, and dinner… it’s the best taste to end any meal.

I am a lover of Orange Sherbet Hot Fudge Sundae’s – the combination of Orange and Chocolate make this a most decadent flavor that just entice my taste buds! 🙂

I don’t always have dessert, most of the time one of the great sides of the meals is what I’d rather eat than the sweets at the end. But my first choice would probably be cheesecake if I were choosing.

I love the dark chocolate mounds bars in the mini size. I look forward to one after dinner. The coconut is so yummy with the dark chocolate ~ Just a bit of sweetness to end my day!
Chocolate, chocolate, everything chocolate! I’m a sucker for a German chocolate cake, but I also love with all my heart chocolate pie, chocolate cake with chocolate icing, chocolate cookies, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate wafers, chocolate pudding, hot chocolate, chocolate kisses, chocolate candy, chocolate covered peanuts, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate syrup in my coffee, and brownies.
My favorite dessert is lemon cream pie. But my hubby and I share popcorn almost every night. It is a nice end to the evening together.
