I just like dessert. My husband and I always have something after our dinner, cookies, pie, cake, pudding, ice cream, even jello. I like to bake too. When we eat out I seldom get dessert unless it’s a special occasion.
My favorite dessert is lemon meringue pie. My mom used to make it for my birthday instead of cake.
Waldorf Astoria Cake some call it red velvet. But in our house it was Waldorf and NOT with cream cheese frosting. It is the frosting that really sells it for me it is with granulated sugar, milk, pinch of salt, butter, flour and vanilla. Chilled and on the cake for 24 hours- HEAVEN on a plate.
Warm chocolate chip cookies made with the original Tollhouse recipe is a wonderful dessert.
Homemade vanilla ice cream🍨
My family is Serbian and we make kifles. Pronounced (Kee-fla with an s on the end) They are a sour cream dough with a plum or apricot jam. They are formed into a crescent shape and baked. They are dusted with powder sugar when they are done. We make them at Christmas time.
All of the desserts listed sound terrific, but you reminded me of the “old days” when I would sit on the porch. early evening, and have a cup of coffee along with a tiny shot glass of Kahlua and cream. It’s just a tiny ‘sweet treat’ to have on a warm evening night. Thank you for asking, nice memory.

I love shortbread cookies and shaped desserts. Simple is better than fussy. I also love summer treats like strawberry shortcake with real baking powder biscuits.

Picking a favorite dessert is about like picking a favorite child! I’m a fan of most desserts. Chocolate cake is pretty high on the list. If I find myself craving a dessert, it’s usually a really good chocolate cake that I’m craving. My mom also makes a cake called Millionaire cake that is amazing.

Winter favorite would be a toss between German Chocolate Cake and Pumpkin Pie. The rest of the year it’s anything that’s mostly lemon flavor with Lemon Pie being #1. But I’m only allowed a tiny sliver these days.
Current favorite After Dinner Sweets, Cado! That is a brand of dairy free chocolate ice cream from avocados. One problem, each carton says there are four servings. I only get 3!!! 😂. Happy quilting from St Peters Missouri. Snow day; quilt day today! ❤️
My favorite desert is strawberry rhubarb pie. I don’t make it very often, but when I do it’s such an amazing treat. My granddaughter has me making apple pie all the time though. Thank you Pat for you daily videos. We’re so lucky to have you!!!!
One of my all time favorites is Tapioca pudding. I just don’t think to make it. I also love baked custart.
My VERY fav dessert is a simple recipe from my deceased Mother In Law. She used a Duncan Hines Orange Supreme cake mix and added a box of instant coconut cream pudding. It is frosted with homemade whipping cream on top, sides and between the layers then added frozen coconut on top, sides and between layers. Keep it in the fridge. and it stays so cold and moist. In fact, it is time I am making one! yummmmmmmmmmmmmm Anyone wanting the recipe may ask for it……
My very favorite is Texas sheet cake for special occasions.. I’m a chocolate lover, particularly dark chocolate, love a little bit after dinner.

Since I just finished lunch—. I want my favorite dessert—A Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Occasionally I will treat myself in the Colder weather to Kahlua and Hot Chocolate and in the Warmer weather to Kahlua and cream over ice.
I don’t eat dessert after a meal. But my absolute favorite sweet treat is Blue Bell ice cream. I’ll choose that over any other sweet. I’m enjoying your daily videos.

My favorite dessert is Carrot Cake with a really great cup of coffee. I’ve recently discovered Mexican coffee. Sometimes just give me the coffee and skip the cake. It is like drinking a candy bar.
I’m sure you know already that Mexican coffee is strong, freshly roasted coffee, chocolate, and cinnamon topped with whipped cream. YUM 💖💖💖
