Oh, dear! My husband and I are desert lovers. It’s hard to narrow it down, but someone posted a skillet apple pie recipe on your Facebook Kitchen Adventures page a while back and we both flipped over it! It is baked in a cast iron skillet and it’s scrumptious!
My favorite dessert after supper is ice cream. And my favorite is French vanilla, but honestly there is no bad ice cream I love them all. Cookies are my favorite snack in the middle of the day. I love all cookies! Thanks for showing the two color ways. I like the dark too!
A favorite dessert must have chocolate! One I have t made for years is a Frango Mint Pie. (Frango mints used to be carried by Frederick & Nelson in Seattle.)
My absolute favorite dessert is trimasu it’s not overly sweet with a coffee flavor.

My favorite dessert is Peach Cobbler or pie.
I love all kinds of desserts – pies, cakes, cheesecake, cookies, brownies/bars (pumpkin, brownies, carrot, apple). I really miss the ones my mom made and the memories of making things with her brings back those tastes in a small way. And just one a day is ok with me – sometimes two if I’ve had a long day.
My favorite dessert is usually Cheesecake, but I also have a recipe I love for Boston Fudge Cake – a moist chocolate cake with fudge frosting.
I always need a sweet after my evening meal. When home, my go to is cottage cheese with pineapple or peaches atop. When we go to a restaurant my favorite is creme brûlée. I have a real sweet tooth and want sweets all the time. I will make your dad’s sugar cookies. They sound delish. Thank you Pat!

I fell in love with Italian fig cookies when we moved to upstate New York. I’m a Cali girl so it was new to me. Usually, I’m all about Lindt chocolates but I’ll walk by them to get to our Italian bakery, Savoias, to buy cookies by the pound. By. The. Pound. Now I’m jonesing for cookies so I’m going to grab my keys and make a cookie run!
Apple Pie!
When I indulge I love Pecan Snowball cookies. The butter, powdered sugar and vanilla along with the crunchy pecans melt in your mouth. What a wonderful sensation – almost as good as finishing a quilt.
My favorite dessert is chocolate in just about any form.
My favorite dessert is pie, any kind as long as it is dairy free. Usually it is cherry since we have a huge pie cherry tree at the edge of our garden.
My favourite would be apple pie and vanilla ice cream though that doesn’t happen very often. My go to would be a piece of homemade bread toasted and homemade jam lol.
I make my own cheesecake using an old recipe I got from a magazine. It’s a family and friends favorite! I also love shortbread and anything chocolate.
My fave dessert is cheesecake, but have to admit I would love all of the wonderful desserts listed by everyone here! (says the diabetic who really can’t eat any of them!)

My all time favorite dessert is Peach Cobbler! It warms my insides on a cold day and warms my heart with special family memories.
Hi Pat, There are so very many to choose from and all old family recipes! My very favorite would be what we call Smack Cakes or Squirrels. They are a brownie-like dessert with the bottom packed into the pan and the egg whites whipped til stiff and a cup of brown sugar added along with vanilla. That is spread over the packed bottom and then sprinkled with chopped nuts and baked. Yummy!
For a dessert I like just cookies and a glass ofmilk.
My favorite dessert is a glass of red wine with a small piece of dark chocolate.
I ♥️ my mother’s “Chocolate Torte” (Chocolate Mousse). It’s so light and airy. Thankful to have gotten the recipe before she passed.
My dad Dominic’s favorite dessert is Bread Pudding with Raisins. He made it special for me with his homemade white bread. I miss him do much.

My favourite dessert is pie! Any kind of pie. Unfortunately, I am gluten-free and have never found a crust that tastes or has the texture of wheat. So now I have a fac simile of pie once a year and my sweet dream is the pie of childhood 🙂
My favorite dessert is cookies, my mom’s sugar cookies. It wasn’t until we were older that she made them and had a glass that she used the bottom of to make an imprint on top. The grandkids loved them. Always checked her cookie jar to see if she had made them. Yup, they magically appeared.
I love just about anything chocolate. My Mom makes wonderful pound cakes which I love, and the chocolate pound cake is my favorite. I don’t always have a cake around, so a simple piece of dark chocolate always works for me!
At one moment in time, I would have screamed lemon bars – the bit of tart with the sweet, but I recently had one that made me question if I liked them at all (even my 12 year old son did not like it.) so while I will claim the lemon bar, not all of them.
(I also like chocolate chip cookies without the chips.)
I like any kind of ice cream with hot fudge topping. Just a small dish. Yummy!

My favorite dessert is cheesecake! I can eat almost any variety with any type of topping and be in heaven!
Pat, while I am not sewing along with this project I am following you daily. Your thought process in the creation of the blocks is opening my eyes to new possibilities. My favorite desert is my mother’s German Chocolate cake. I always had it for my birthday. I now make this cake using a different recipe that gets rave reviews. But I must say that my nightly dessert is a small bowl of vanilla ice cream. I call it my tummy medicine 😊 Jennifer

My favorite dessert is angel food cake with hot lemon merange pudding on top. It is just the best. My mom used to make it when we were kids.

How does anyone choose A favourite dessert? There are so many wonderful treats. If forced to name one it would probably be Quadruple Chocolate Cheese cake which is often requested in our family for birthdays. Totally decadent.

My favorite “dessert”. Extra helpings of sourdough bread!! I love love it and I’ll take that over dessert 😊. I have. Even know to eat sheet cake or cashew brownies (brownies with cream cheese frosting and cashews scatters on top then drizzled with hot fudge – 😂 – low calorie). But I’ll take the bread every time!!
