- Will I use all the fabric – Not all of it. This is to give you variety, more is better!

- What are the Technique? – All Easy Pieced.
- NOTE: The Blocks do NOT LOOK like the topic of the week. This is not a pictorial quilt. I do a topic as it is way more fun than just plopping out a block. I love the memories and sometimes research that goes into the topic. That keeps my Sew alongs fun and unique.

Hi Pat, I love brownies just the way you like them except I have to use pecans. I’m allergic to walnuts. My mom loved your videos and she would watch every day. I lost her in October, she loved you so much and blew you a kiss every day ❤️
My family loves brownies. I no longer make them from scratch but a box mix. I don’t add nuts but add extra Hershey chocolate syrup. They are so moist.
Pat, I really enjoy you going through your process of picking the fabric colors for the blocks. It has really helped me to have confidence in choosing fabric.

I love brownies because they are so fast and easy to make and share with friends. They are also great to eat while stitching as they don’t drop crumbs or mess.

I love to add chocolate chips to any brownie i make but i use the Pampered Chef brownie pan w individual squares so no cutting! Just dump out and enjoy!!
I love the Ghirardelli triple chocolate brownie mix too. I have tried others but, this is the best. I use coconut oil instead of the vegetable oil. It makes a very tasty brownie.

Love Brownies! I add a teaspoon of vanilla to the box mix. Can’t eat walnuts so I add pecans. Love this block.

Brownies are also the favorite dessert in our family. they do not like nuts in them but when I am making them for other than my family, I use pecans. Gheraldi or Duncan Hines are my favorite. I love the brownie block. I have been a member of the group since April but because of illness and trying to finish up projects I found your videos the other day. I am now going to try to figure how to get the pattern for the quilt and follow along as much as my time allows. Thank you so much for all your time you spend teaching us.
Chewy gooey chocolate flavor – that is what I LOVE about brownies!
Brownies are one of my favorite desserts! They always disappear fast in our house 😋 I always make a double batch in a 13×9 pan using Ghirardelli’s mixes. Interesting brownie pan. May need to consider getting one.
I like to add extra dark chocolate chips in my brownies. Do love the first block in the new sew-along!

Brownies are one of my favorite easy desserts. I love the edges. My daughter loves the non edges. So we are a good brownie team. I also prefer the Ghirardelli box mix. I always add my own chocolate chips in because you can never have enough of a good thing!
Ahh, the exquisite brownie aroma that emanates from the oven when brownies are done! I love, love, love that baking aroma. It’s hard to wait for brownies to cool, isn’t it?! So I prefer to eat brownies the day after baking. Walnuts are a definite must!

I love Ghirardelli Brownie mixes! In fact, I always made brownies from scratch, never a mix UNTIL I had a Ghirardelli Brownie at a party and it changed my life. LOL That’s all I use now. With chocolate chips and walnuts, like you. However, I love the middles, not the edges! It works out because my husband likes the edges. 😀

Brownies are my favorite!!! I use the Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Premium Brownie Mix, because it has chocolate chips in it! LOL! If I do put walnuts in, I chop mine up pretty well. Hubby doesn’t care for the nuts so I don’t put too many. Favorite way to enjoy them is with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Yum!
All of my family love brownies and they all like the edges. I prefer the middle!
Great brownies! I’m using a gluten free mix now, but will add more eggs as that seems to be a great tip. We’ve used the copper brownie squares pan…but I’m thinking this type might be even better!

I absolutely love brownies, one little trick my late husband likes was when I put cherry pie filling in the mix and baked them.
I Also did the the recipe for the cake method. Sometimes I would add walnuts ( they was expensive so that was a treat )

I’d never turn down a brownie or a cookie! I prefer to make from scratch but that box mix I wouldn’t refuse. I love to bake and brownies are a favorite along with cookies and I like pecans or walnuts in them. As a matter of fact I just made chocolate chip cookies tonight. Wrapped in freezer paper and going next week to a quilt retreat for 4 days!

I also love the Ghiradelli mix. I have always had trouble with my brownies baking to the right consistency. Recently I discovered a recipe for “brookies “. Now I use the brownie mix for a 9×9 pan , spread it in a 13×9 pan and then put chocolate chip cookie dough (half a batch) on top. For some reason that bakes up great every time and it goes farther since I’m only using half the mix. Win/Win. 😊.
Did you know December 8th is National Brownie Day????? Yes it is and how do I know that???? It is my daughters birthday and every Dec. 8th she wants brownie sundaes instead of the traditional birthday cake. I love the pan that just makes corners but it would fly in my house on no…we are mostly a middle of the brownie family. Personally I like the corners so the pan would only be fun for me. OK besides sewing I will be making a batch of brownie from the box!!!!! Enjoy!!!!
I love brownies because they aren’t as sweet as cake. I make mine from scratch and add extra pecans and dark chocolate chips to the batter.
I love brownies , but I found a recipe using brownie mix to make brownie cookies… instead of waiting 30-40 minutes they are done in 8 min…. and so fast and easy to make… they are a hit of my friends and neighbors!!
Brownies are my favorite! I teach at a Hutterite Colony and for each students birthday we bake brownies to take for all the students to enjoy. (There’s only 12 students grades 2nd through 8th). The birthday student picks their favorite type and that is the one we bake for them. Blonde brownies are really good along with marbled brownies😍
My family all likes cookie brownies. They are part chocolate chip cookie and part brownie. You get the best of both worlds.
